I've lived on Cape Cod for nine years and only one person has cut my hair. However, regular stylist is on maternity leave, and my hair was screaming, "Cut me! Cut me!" I was very reluctant / nervous to have someone else cut my hair. I got brave, and after having my nails done at DeParis Nails in Centerville, walked next door to ProCuts. I had a great experience from start to finish. Both the receptionist and a woman who was either the owner or manager greeted me warmly. The owner/manager asked how Id found them, and I said I am a regular at the nail salon. I said I wanted a cut, and I'd barely taken a seat in their spacious waiting area when my name was called. So, yes, when the sign says, "Walk-Ins Welcome", they mean it. My stylist, Amy, was terrific. She asked what I wanted done, we agreed on how much she'd "take off" and in 15 minutes (or less) I was thanking her, paying the unbelievably reasonable $26 (before tip) , being thanked for stopping in by the owner/manager, and on my way. My hair looked great and got just the "lift" it needed! For me the true judge of a good cut, is not how it looks as I leave the salon, but how it looks after I wash and style it...this ProCut passed the test with flying colors! Thank you Amy! read more

Been coming here for over twenty years, and needed to say that I just had the greatest haircut by Heather. She knows how to use scissors, are rare skill in today's world. I do have to ask, what is with the "funky" stuff going on with the walls there? Seems to go through a redo a few times a year, but this attempt is absolutely hideous, the strange circles on the back wall look crazy, and not in a good way. Bizarre. read more

I love this Pro cuts in Centerville, MA. The owner Robin is so nice & really cares about her customers. It is a clean salon & most of all a happy place with very experienced beauticians. You are always warmly greeted by the sweetest receptionist. There are 2 who are lovely & kind. I have been going there for a very long time. Jen is my beautician & I love her. She has over 42 years of experience & really knows what she's doing. I trust her completely! she is multi talented in everything she does from color to cuts. Drove all the here from Yarmouth. Arrived at 5:30pm today Wednesday July 16, 2025. Tried to open door but it was locked. Knocked on door, there were 2-3 people inside totally ignoring me. Sign outside said open till 6:00. Called got answering machine saying they were open till 6:00 but couldn't leave message. I went back to door and knocked there was someone with dark auburn wer hair sitting at reception desk trying to talk to me. I could not hear through door. She came opened door and said they were closed due to receptionist leaving early. I said I don't need the receptionist I just need my bangs cut. She screamed You are rude and slammed door in my face. Not a nice way to treat customers especially senior citizens. They should be reported to the better business bureau. Beware that f evil hairdressers with wet hair!!! If I could give zero stars I would. I went in as a walk in and just wanted a simple trim unfortunately I had to walk out . The lady was so rude , she forcefully brushed through my thick,curly hair . Said that it looked like my hair hasn't been washed lol when I washed it this morning - it was still damp. Then she said that looks like I didn't rinse it out enough ... ever heard of leave-in conditioner? service was horrible I do not recommend this place to anyone. read more

I visited Procuts in centerville today After not Returning to Procuts for many years due to some not so very nice hairstyles. I was very pleased to have had the pleasure of meeting a young lady named Hunter I am also a business owner for many years and knowing how hard it is to get good help I hope the owners of Procuts realizes what a outstanding young lady with such a beautiful personality they have on their staff I live on the lower Cape but I would travel back to the Centerville area to receive another haircut from this young lady she had a outstanding smile very very compassionate in her work and she was very professional. I truly hope that the next time I visit Procuts either in the Dennis location the Yarmouth location or the Centerville location but I have the opportunity to see this young lady again she put a smile on my face and gave me a great haircut I am sure that you receive many complaints from people especially after being treated the way I have in the past at Procuts but this young lady gives everybody hope. Cheap and easy for a quick haircut, but not for anything super fancy or advanced styling. They also sell lots of great Paul Mitchell products and other nice hair products, and often have sales, so I like to go there to buy shampoo. read more

Went on for a haircut yesterday and the woman who cut my hair could not of been more rude. I asked her to even off my sideburns and she said why in a very curt way. I've been having Kim cut may hair there for several years and have always been very pleased.

I called the salon yesterday at 2:30 and asked if I could have a root touch up no blow dry . They advised me that two stylist were going home at 4 ( opened until 5)and could not help me. I was close by and walked into the salon and asked if I could make an appointment . With an uncomfortable reaction the receptionist said yes.. as it was not busy. I understand two stylist have to be on the floor at all times . One stylist was not busy or with a customer . My appointment was booked today at 10am. I walked in smiled , mentioned just roots no blow dry ( just to make sure) needed. My hair is blonde with dark root. The stylist after 5 minutes said that she could not color my root . She wAs uncomfortable and did not know how to color it and blend it properly. She mentioned they have Goldwell products and that I probably need different products . I'm confused . I Left quietly and embarrassed. I have no other options to do my hair as all of the hair salons are closed due to the holiday. Unacceptable. Maybe more training is required to allow the stylist knowledge of color. The corporate office will be hearing from me. Looking at the all the not so good reviews reviews I can see why this business isn't flourishing . read more

I wish you didn't have to leave any stars. A stylist was so rude to my husband and my 2 year old today. When my baby started to cry and move his head she threw down her clippers and said, "I'm not doing this" and walked away. She also greeted us with an, "Oh God," when my son started to get whiney at the beginning. He's a toddler, he can't help it - and it's not like we wanted him to be this way. I'm pretty disgusted by the way we were treated as both my son and I left in tears. read more

This is not a real Pro cuts! This is not one of the chain Pro cuts owned by the Regis Corporation. Beware. I had the worst service here ever. Very unprofessional and incompetent. I have dark brown hair and went in for a root touch up and came out with a very dark brown frame of dye around my hairline. They could not get it off no matter how much they "scrubbed". First they tried rubbing alcohol!! Then when that did not work they suggested I buy pink Dawn dish detergent! That didn't even work when I got home. This dark brown color sat on my face for a couple of days. They never even used a barrier around my hairline like Vaseline like most professional salons do. The woman who blowdried my hair put absolutely no effort into it and I walked out with a frizzy mess on my head. I had to ask her to put on some smoothing silk she didn't even know which one to use and had to confer with another stylist. My haircolor came out way darker almost black compared to what I specifically asked for which was a medium to dark brown. Upon complaining to management I was directed to speak to Cheryl in Middleborough Mass, the regional manager who after hearing my valid customer complaint was not willing to refund me a dime. I had to call her back three times to get an answer. Clearly the customer does not come first here. Don't waste your money. I only chose to go to the salon because it was close to my house but for a root touch up and shampoo and blow dry it was $90! You can get better service at Aveda for less money! I ended up going to a Aveda a couple days later to fix my ness and got the professional service that Pro cuts was sorely lacking and basically it's the same price read more

So being a last minute mom can be stressful to individuals who are helping me but today I felt as if a weight was taken off my shoulders. I brought my son here to get his back to school hair cut and I was so relieved, I can not remember the hairdresser's name but she was so sweet and had multi colored hair(blue, purple). Like most teenage boys my son had no clue what he wanted but she took the time and went step by step with him and he looks amazing! Will definitely be coming back, thank you! read more
