We found a free parking spot a bock away. This green market is a Saturday morning destination, an open air marketplace at Old School Square off Swinton & Atlantic Avenues. During the summers, they're open from 9 until 1:00, October through May 9 until 2:00 o'clock. There are over 50 vendors here featuring farm to fork produce, fish, meats, orchids, just picked citrus and juice, farm fresh eggs, milk & butter, artisan baked goods, fresh cut flowers, plants, and gourmet prepared foods with live musical entertainment weekly. After :90 we couldn't eat nor carry any more. We left with fresh pompano from Captain Clay, lots of pristine organic produce, mango honey, fresh spinach fettuccine, and pistachio butter. Prices were high but quality gourmet items usually are. There was a police presence here. The Beatles Tribute band were in costume & performed through out. Everyone was friendly & courteous and the beautiful dogs were leashed and well behaved.

I went to that nursery today and walked up to the register and there is someone ahead of me. I'm waiting there and then I see a man walk over to the other register and a young woman starts helping him so I said out loud (in a calm non-nasty way) I was here before him. No one looked at me no one acknowledged anything I said. The older woman helping the other person should've told me to go to the other register when I was standing there waiting but she said nothing to me so then when it was my turn I went up to the young woman and said I was here before that guy and she didn't look at me she didn't say a word didn't even acknowledge I said anything so I said it again and she said nothing and I said why are you ignoring me? Nothing. So I thought maybe she doesn't speak English so I asked her if she did and again she completely ignored me. Then I remembered she was just having a conversation with the other cashier before so I saidI said oh yes you do speak English. She completely ignored everything I said and didn't even look at me and only talked to me about the total amount and when I came back to get a card she was speaking to me but would not acknowledge anything that I said earlier. I started wondering if I was invisible or living in the twilight zone and no one heard things I said. And no, I wasn't wearing a mask. I said to her you could say I'm sorry I didn't see you or something but she ignored that too. I don't know who taught her customer service but it was really really strange.
