Cosmetically the car looked OK but I wanted the sensor issue resolved. I went to my "usual" shop thinking they could reassemble everything. I was quoted $2,300 which included a new bumper cover, paint, etc etc. . . I then went to my insurance company's "preferred" shop. The service writer quoted me $4,300 without even bending over to look at the damage. Upon my brother's recommendation I took the car to David at Elegant Body Shop, which is where I should have gone in the first place. David took the time to thoroughly look at the car and provided me several options for repair. Within 3 hours the damage to the bumper was completely repaired and a short time later the sensor was reconnected and reset. All for a price well below the quotes I received at the other shops. I was so impressed with how smoothly my wife's repair was, I immediately gave him my car to repair. Another "disagreement" with a parking stop. After quite an extensive search, I found this place with tons of pictures of EV work done including Mach-E, Tesla, and a few others. So I brought my Taycan here. Even though it was a minor cosmetic damage, their service from start to finish was super painless and easy to work with. The scheduling coordinator (Catherine) reached out to me soon as I designated them as my desired shop from the insurance company's database. The initial assessment (Robert/Vartan) were professional accompanied by explanation of the process and estimated repair time. All throughout the repair process, I received multiple updates both from the scheduling coordinator and the automated system. In the end, the car was done ahead of schedule. The paint matching was spot on from what I can tell. Everyone in the office was professional, friendly, and most of all, they took care of all the paper work and back-and-forth with at-fault party's insurance company so I didn't have to do anything other than picking up the car. Even though it was a minor cosmetic damage this time, I would still recommend this place to others.
