We contacted this company on a Saturday night after our LG washer was refusing to drain after all of my diy attempts to fix it. Not only did Stanislav come out within 24 hours, on a weekend with no upcharge, but after 30 minutes of test cycles he discovered that there weren't any issues and explained how we probably needed to change soap, use less, and not pack as much laundry into the washer (we've had this washer for six years and this was the first time this ever happened). He gave us some things to watch out for (error codes, etc) and some tips to avoid this again, while mentioning he had some parts in his truck to replace a pump, but he didn't think it would do anything and didn't want us to spend unneeded money. While a little embarrassed and out the $99 service call out fee, I appreciate a company that didn't take advantage of us and install unneeded parts just to make a quick buck. We'll be calling this company again the next time if something is (actually) broken. Respect to Pro Appliance Repair's Seattle team and Stanislav especially. read more

Washer was not fixed after repair man came out the first time, was charged to reconnect a spring that was dangling off its mount for $200+, and then the washer was still doing same issue when he left, had to call for the guy to come back and replace the springs which was an extra $100, so total it costed what it would cost to get a new washer off of offer up, but the guy was helpful and cooperative and helped us get it fixed and back up and running normally read more

These technicians are the best of the best! My Maytag washer decided to not open and went into an infinite loop. I had a load of clothes inside and did not want let them sit and mildew. The technician Stanislav showed up the same day I called. He was able to open the washer door, get the clothes out, and then he diagnosed and fixed the problem. Stas, the tech that came out to repair our gas range, was fantastic. He let me know when he was 15 minutes out, arrived promptly and very quickly resolved the problem with our middle burner. He also offered to check our stove while he was here and I asked him to look at this weird noise our fridge was making and he was happy to do so. Stas was in and out in less than an hour and left our kitchen significantly more functional than it was when he got here. Our gas oven was venting gas and carbon monoxide when turned on, which did not dissipate when the oven reached temperature. We'd had a gas company technician out to verify the issue but needed to find a repair technician on our own. We tried Professional Appliance Repair. When I called, I specifically said that the issue involved venting of carbon monoxide, but when the technician, Stanislav, arrived, he said that they do not deal with CO leaks at all. He checked to confirm that the oven ignition was not the problem, (it wasn't,) and then said there was nothing more he could do. He said he would find out for us what to do next and would call us the next day with more information. However, we never heard back, despite calling Professional Appliance Repair a second time to try and get more information. So in the end we paid the $99 fee for nothing and are right back where we started. I should have been informed immediately when I called that this company does not deal with CO emissions. The only reason this is 2 stars instead of 1 is that Stanislav was courteous and professional while he was here, even if he ultimately didn't help. read more

My LG washer stopped draining water one day, and I couldn't get it fixed myself. The LG authorized repair services were all either out of my area or unable to service my specific model. And they were super difficult to reach and contact, too. I reached to PAR over Yelp, and immediately received response within 10 minutes, and got an appointment quickly. Pricing was also more transparent than the others who were unwilling to give a clear pricing practice. The technician came to my house and was very polite and thorough in his investigation, and explained to me what the problem was and what to look out for in the future. My stacked, all-in-one, GE washer-dryer (bought new in 2020 and located on the third floor of my townhouse) was leaking a little water - and fearing a bigger problem was brewing, I looked for "washing machine repairs" on Yelp and sent out three requests for quotes early on a Saturday morning. Vlad from Professional Appliance Repair was the second response I received within an hour, and offered to send a tech between noon and 3 p.m. that day! (Notes: he explained that I would be charged a $100 fee that would be applied to any repairs. And, two other companies wrote to me during this time to say they don't work with stackable washer/dryer units.) Although the technician, Stanislav (Stas), arrived late around 4 p.m. that day (after communicating with me via text, after a longer-than-expected earlier job), he was professional, clean and thorough and he showed me everything inside my washer after he opened up the front panel and the electrical panel. After running two cycles, he was able to prove that there was indeed no obvious damage or any water leaks. (User error perhaps- too much soap and/or items in the washer??) The technician was a few minutes early - which is even better than right on time. He was very conscientious, making sure that he had a towel and trash bag ready to go. Best part: He had the motor in his van so no waiting in ordering parts! They were done very quickly and it was a fair price (not the first time I've replaced the pump motor so I had a comparison point). I called the tech and he came back, worked on it and assured me it was now fixed. 30 days later the problem returned. I called the tech and he said he'd get back to me. He never did. I called the main office and they said the warranty has expired and refused to help. I said the problem was NEVER fixed. They didn't care. Don't expect them to care about your problems either. The LG washer broke down on 12/24/2022. I called several repaire places only to have our request ignored. We were not exxpecting much in the way of getting a response at this point. We went to Angie's List and contacted The Professional Appliance Repair Company. WoW! Nelson Castro came on the appointed date and time. He asked my husband what was going on with the washer, walked over to the washer, took off the back, tested the water pump and said that was the problem. He happened to have a pump for our maching on his truck. We were both very impressed with the service, countesy and professionalism offered.
