This is my second time coming here for my renewal class and I swear, I won't go anywhere else! My job offers a free renewal (super long though; 4hrs) and I pass it up every time so that I can come here instead! The class here is WELL WORTH the dollars spent and I truly love the instructors I've had. My last one was Josué and he was fantastic!! Very, very well versed in BLS/CPR. I thought it was really neat to learn that he's on the code team at UC Davis, too. I felt super confident in learning from him as my instructor! Again, couldn't recommend this place enough! I'm gonna start off with a disclaimer that I'm a CPR/first aid instructor myself, so take my review with a grain of salt. I'm noticed many of the places that I've taken CPR/BLS/ACLS classes teach simply for you to pass, which is good if you need to have the certification for your job. It's almost as if the test is a formality. However, if you really want to learn and master the skills presented in the class, it's hard to find a place that is committed to doing that. There could be a lot of improvement on doig more of the practical skills portion and presenting scenarios to work through. I was a bit shocked someone could get the First Aid certification by just watching a 30 minute video. When I certify, I usually have people watch 2 hours of first aid videos at home before the class itself and then teach in person for another 1 hour so that people are well versed with bleeding management, loss of consciousness, animal bites, hypo/hyperthermia, etc. Overall, the instructor was great. There's no replacement for real life experience. His stories in regards to his real life experience makes the class much more interesting. read more

Even though my employer will pay for me to do training for free through them, I would rather pay and get it through this company. They are thorough, easy to understand, and I always feel like I have the tools and confidence to perform if needed. read more

I was expecting more than two minutes of hands on experience in a 3 hour class. Some of the students couldn't perform CPR at all when leaving, and still got certificates. I'm genuinely concerned that people can claim to be trained in CPR and EAP, show proof even! And not have a clue how to perform it. Although I've paid my $95 and paid close attention during class, I don't even know if I was practicing properly. Please, if this is a skill you truly want to learn, go somewhere that will actually make sure you leave knowing what you're doing. This place is NOT it. You get handed your certificates before class even begins. They don't care if you leave knowing anything or not. read more

Efficient course with good social distancing. Rick is knowledgable. The course didn't take the entire allotted time, likely because the material was covered quickly but also thoroughly. One quick note for people with low cars--the concrete bumper in the parking lot had metal protruding from the top by about 1.5". I didn't notice it when parking, and then when backing out it nearly ripped the bumper off. No fault of Pro CPR. read more

Scheduling was easy-there were many options and the class was taught by an instructor who knew what he was doing. The good thing about this place is that there are so many different classes that are available late enough you can go after work. The facility is nice and located in a little business area, plenty of parking available. They also have sooo many snacks available and coffeee which is super great and refreshing after a long day. I had Jonas as an instructor and he was a pretty cool guy and definitely added humor to the learning g :) I felt like the skills portion of the course could have been structured a little more clearly since there were some new BLS learners there (it wasn't a prob for me since I've done this class many times before). But overall a nice experience since they also emphasized the Heimlich maneuver which I didn't have much exposure to previously :) Cost was $59 if you get the bls book separately. read more

Great cpr course! Miguel was a wonderful instructor! He got right to the point and explained everything in perfect detail! I love the hands on portion because it really does help with muscle memory! A great refresher that I needed. I like that it was completed in about 2 and half hours instead of the 4 hour course I've taken in the past. I really liked that he gave us the 123-CAB card! A few of the videos were identical to the ones for the pre-test, but overall it was good, and it was a good review before the test.
