He spent a good 20 minutes on the phone with me, not only telling me what needed to be done, but explaining exactly what would happen if it wasn't fixed, how long he thought I might be able to wait, and helping me to prioritize. Professional Fleet does great work. Very knowledgeable, they have every answer you need about anything. They get things done fast and on schedule, if you need your car back by a certain day Professional Fleet WILL have it done. They do things right the first time so your not coming back to fix the same thing. I cant stress enough that they do things right and tell you what you need to hear the FIRST time, they don't cut corners. We first met Sam at a BNI meeting 3 or 4 years ago and what he said at the meeting he backed up at his place of business. Sam is one of the few honest mechanics who doesnt try to confuse you with big words or complicated explanations so its easy to see he isn't blowing smoke. I will always bring my vehicles to PFS. Their prices are good, and more importantly, they are honest. They do not perform work unless it actually needs done. For example, my recommended service for my vehicle said that valve timing adjustment was due, but their mechanics could tell from the sound that the service was not needed at this time. I had another mechanic, east lansing auto pros, quote me over $1600 to repair a coolant leak that he claimed was due to a bad head gasket. Sam was very pleasant to deal with. I called him on a Friday afternoon and he got right back to me. He got my vehicle in the next day (on a Saturday) and repaired the tie-rod that same day. I've been told before to change a few parts when I went to some other mechanics, but I came here for a second opinion and these guys pulled out the part and explained to me why a replacement is not needed. I've been going to Sam for a few years and I am still satisfied. He diagnosed my old car accurately when he smelled the engine! He has great service and reasonable prices. When I bought I new car from Bud Kouts I went there a couple of times and when my car actually needed service they couldn't fix the problem but Sam did!
