Jonathan came highly recommended by a couple of people who were in the landscaping business, so when my mother-in-law got an estimate from him, she was wonderfully pleased by his personality and responsiveness and she felt price was extremely reasonable for the amount of extra work they had to do first before getting started (gopher wires, take out the old dried soil, etc). He also had samples we felt had the highest quality combined with the color we wanted when compared side-by-side. 2700 sf of the front and backyard was done, and it looks amazing. Overall, I would absolutely recommend this company to anyone who is looking to install turf. Jonathan, the owner, was the first person to come out and give us a quote. Thanks to him patiently answering all of our questions, our subsequent meetings with other companies were much more brief. Moving forward on the project with Jonathan was a no brainer for several reasons- prompt response & ease of communication, professionalism, quality of work and a very reasonable quote. Jonathan measured our yard and provided us a quote on the turf of our choosing right at the spot. About 10 minutes after the meeting, he followed up with a pdf document that outlined the requested services. Because the quote was so reasonable, we had some room in the budget to add a putting green. I just sent him a text inquiring about the addition of a putting green and within minutes of talking over the phone, he sent me another updated pdf document. Project was started one week after our initial meeting. A crew arrived looking professional and on time and went right to work. Everything was impeccably done in two days - over Friday and Saturday. The crew responded well to some feedback we had about rounding out the border of our putting green. They picked up every trash in our yard and cleaned the driveway before leaving. Jonathan and his crew laid artificial turf in our front yard. The first day the area was cleared of the natural grass and leveled. The base rock and weed treatment was applied. I'd give these guys 10 stars if I could. When we decided to replace our dying, awful front lawn with artificial grass, redo the front flower bed, add drip system watering front and back, and replant our backyard lawn, we started getting estimates. Contractor 1 was nice, but only did artificial turf and nothing else. Contractor 2 wanted $48,000 for the job, but offered to do it for $38,000 because we were "nice people"-- which told us right off that his estimate was way over-padded. Our third call was Professional Greenscape, and the difference was night and day. Jonathan came out, gave us an estimate that was more than reasonable, and made several suggestions to improve the home's look. When we expressed concern over the cost, he gave us a line-item written estimate, so we could pick and choose exactly what we wanted done and know the precise costs up front. He was personable and professional in every interaction. We hired them and wow! They were quick, industrious, neat and-- again-- professional every step of the way. From tear out to completion-- front lawn, rear lawn, erecting a small block wall to separate the flower bed from the front lawn (with a short concrete ramp so I could get my trash cans back and forth from the curb), installation of a drip watering system front and rear, and replanting the entire flower bed-- took a total of 4 days. They left the yard and work space clean and tidy every day before leaving. Bottom line, they charged us a little over a third of contractor 2's pricing and the results are spectacular! Now, we no longer have the shabbiest house on the block, we have the best one! We simply could not be more pleased! If you need any landscaping work done, this company should be your first call. read more
