We sent out a bid for the replacement of our outdoor water line between the house and meter due to a leak. We didn't know where it was, just that it was outside. We recently moved our laundry room from the garage to a closet that we wanted to be converted inside our house. This was an involved project that required running water lines for washer and laundry sink + running drain for washer and for sink. Shane also did the trim plumbing for us once the sink and counter were installed. Additionally, he did a similar job in our master bath where he swapped out some leaking waterlines for new Uponor Pex, reworked the drain, and roughed+ trimmed out the master sink. We're very pleased with the work that Shane did. He is kind and dedicated in his craft. He uses quality materials and gets things done. While we did run into a couple snags along the way, Shane was always responsive and quick to make things right. This included coming over to do work on a toilet which had ended up being a completely separate issue... on Thanksgiving day! Was quoted a really competitive bid for some work on my bathroom remodel. After the quote professional plumbing was almost impossible to get a hold of, some times not replying for over 48hrs. Finally got them scheduled and asked what type of parts they where using so I could buy fixtures to match, got no response. 72hrs later they didn't show up for the appointment, call or text to explain why. Professional Plumbing completed the installation of a whole new water mainline yesterday, March 9, 2023. This is our 33rd year at this location and I repaired the main line 3 years ago when the detected leak location was relatively easy to get to. Not so this time, as the leak was detected under a 6" slab of concrete at the front entrance to the house. Rather than repair a 45-year-old water line again, I decided to go all in and replace it from the meter, to the house, a run of about100'. To start the process, I sent out requests for bids as well and asked members of our HOA for recommendations. Shane and Professional Plumbing was one of the companies that came highly recommended. On top of that, Shane was the most responsive and gave a very detailed quote, describing how the job was to be done, the materials to be used and gave me a couple suggestions for improving the current system. Forwarning: Replacing a mainline is not an inexpensive proposition! However, the quote I got from Professional Plumbing was not only the best one I rec'd, it was also the most detailed and presented in a professional and timely manner. Professional Plumbing showed up when they said they would and completed the job with absolutely no disruption to our daily routine...other than having to shut the old main line down while they tied in the new one, but we expected that to happen and planned accordingly. Every person on that job was a delight to have around. None of them ever complained about having this homeowner looking over their shoulder. In fact, Shane encouraged my many questions and was more than happy to explain all the awesome equipment they were using. The entire process was well orchestrated. When Professional Plumbing was done with the job, Shane took the time to walk me through everything they had done, where all the shut off's were located and where the additional shut off's were added. And, they replaced all the old gate valves and put in very nice quarter-turn ball valves! They even put an in-line shut-off going to an outside hose bib so I could easily winterize it. All the holes and trenches were backfilled and smoothed neatly; you would hardly know they were even here. I have had the opportunity to work with many, builders, electricians, plumbers, fencing companies, painters and installers over the years. I would have to say that Professional Plumbing is absolutely top-notch. Not only does Shane present himself well, but actually takes a lot of pride in the work he and his crew does. Shane is not shy about getting down in the trenches with his co-workers either. It sounded like they all enjoyed working together. Tl;dr: Shane completed a very difficult toilet installation without ever losing his great attitude. He's unstoppable! I contacted him to replace a rear-outlet, low-efficiency toilet in the master bath of my condo unit with a high-efficiency unit. Rear outlet toilets are not very common and notoriously difficult to replace, which is probably why the old toilet was from the original mid-90s construction. Shane managed to figure out the exact toilet I needed by referencing some pictures I sent. He went with the pressure-assist model, which provides a much more reliable and faster flush in high-rise buildings like mine. The rough-in of the model he bought precisely matched the old toilet. The installation was indeed difficult -- the job ended up taking about 3+ hours -- but Shane never flagged or seemed discouraged, and he never gave up. Even though the rough-ins were the same, the upper screws were slightly too low and the floor screws slightly too short (and not very secure looking anyway), but Shane managed to get the new toilet installed into the wall and glued it to the floor with strong silicone glue to keep it secure. He maintained a great attitude throughout and tackled each problem as it came, even when, on top of everything else, the new toilet ended up having a faulty tank. He returned the next day with and installed a new tank which worked perfectly. It's clear he works hard to do his best for his clients. Once the install was finished, he tidied up and took away the boxes and other packing trash, as well as the old toilet. His rate is reasonable, and he more than earned it! read more

We initially had another plumbing service, The Pipe Doctor, come to address a blocked sewer line. After what was supposed to be a hydrojetting session, the Pipe Doctor--who, as it turns out, isn't actually a licensed plumber--quoted us thousands of dollars to dig up and replace 15-20 feet of the sewer line. Shane from Professional Plumbing suggested giving hydrojetting another try, expressing confidence that he could possibly resolve the issue without resorting to excavation. Despite our reservations about the potential costs, we decided to proceed. Shane and his crew arrived, performed hydrojetting, and immediately cleared the blockage. Our house apparently had a bunch of issues we were lucky enough to avoid confronting for the first several years living in it, but the heavy December and early January rainstorms changed that. Christmas week, a major rainstorm flooded my basement. I called Shane and he responded within a few minutes, and was there within the hour. He got to work quickly diagnosing the problem (a poorly placed, low quality pipe) -- all in the dark, with rain coming down that soon turned to snow.
