This is my second time hiring Chuck to unclog another one of my extremely slow shower drains when all of my DIY methods failed. He's been helping with drains all over my multi-story condo building for years. Drains and sewers are his specialty -- he "makes stuff go down," as he put it. 03/28/25 - Again had problems with our bathtub draining. I called Green Lake Sewer on 3/27 and they were out bright and early on 3/28 to work on our drains. Both Brian and Chuck are very personable and really know what they're doing. Who knew really cushy toilet paper can cause drain plugs? Anyway, they cleared out the drain and made a few recommendations for keeping the drains clear. I will call them again should we have any further drainage problems. read more

I live in Lynnwood surrounded by big, beautiful, Locust trees that regularly invade my sewer line. This year my regular plumber had trouble completely clearing the line with his equipment, so I called Green Lake Sewer and Drain. The reviews I read about Chuck and Brian are spot on. Chuck answers their phone and makes time to come out right away. They have reasonable pricing, they show up on time, and they're fun to be around. They put their camera down right away, and saw that parts of the line (the part that is the city's responsibility) are so old and damaged that snaking or hydro-jetting the line to take out the roots would have destroyed it. So they didn't touch it. Instead they took excellent video of the damaged pipes that I can share with the city so that the city can schedule a repair. I'm so glad these guys know when to get tough with a line and when to leave it alone. The wrong decision here could have completely blocked not only my line, but several of my neighbors' as well. Chuck was able to fix my clogged bathtub drain in 2 minutes with a snake, when Ally Plumbing wasn't able to fix anything! (Ally Plumbing also said the fix would have to be going up through my downstairs neighbor's apartment and replacing a piece of pipe Definitely wanted a second opinion!) Since Chuck was so quick in fixing my bathtub, I asked him to take a look at my slow-draining sinks in the bathroom and kitchen. Again, he was able to clear the drains and get them working properly. I should note that Ally also tried to tackle this problem and was unsuccessful. So glad I called Green Lake Sewer & Drain, should have called them first! Chuck was friendly and honest, and took the time to recommend Bio-Clean drain for maintenance and let us know not to use toilet paper that says "strong" or "absorbent", it's like flushing paper towels. Bonus: I called on a Friday evening, and he was able to come out the next morning (and only charged an extra $50 for a Saturday call) and he arrived within the agreed-upon time frame. If you can get them to do your work with your schedule there's no two ways to think about it. Like seriously. I had a clog over the weekend and they were unavailable until Monday. So I had to hire somebody else. But I decided to keep my appointment to get a scope done instead. I am so thankful I didn't go with anybody else. They are experienced and knowledgeable, they came prepared and heard all my questions and concerns. Came out to service a sewer drain blockage. Identified a TP blockage and a more distal break. Couldn't clear the TP blockage with an augur. Refused to try a hydro jet. Referred us to another service, collected $400. Other service also collected $400 to clear the blockage - in 5 min - with a hydro jetter. More than a little disappointed in Greenlake Sewer. Break was a legitimate separate fee to a different service. read more

Holy crap! Literally! Our teenager goes through about 6 rolls of toilet paper a day and this morning everything started coming out of everywhere! These guys are awesome. Used them to clean out the sewer on our new house, and the original sewer report from the seller suggested that we might need a hydro-jet. Brian came out with Ray, and after taking a look at it, they said hydro-jet would be more expensive, and actually be bad for our sewer pipe. They cabled it, and fixed the issue quickly and inexpensively. We then used them to clean out the sewer in our old house to get it ready for sale. Here, we needed hydro-jet, and Brain, Chuck, and Ray all came out. Because of access issues, this was a tough job. I think a lot of other companies would have given up on it, but they were able to get all the roots out without damaging the pipe. Great work, cost effective, know what they are doing, and they don't try to upcharge you (and don't adjust their pricing up if they think your house looks pricier. Honest company. Chuck and Brian came out after telling me exactly what I could expect for charges. They showed up exactly when they said they would. They did exactly what they said they would do. They got me up and running again for far less than I would have paid someone else. These guys came to fix a clogged toilet . They tried to fix it by ramming their camera into it . They didn't even try to snake it. They reduced the price because they failed to fix the problem they left my bathroom with a bunch of wax on the floor from the wax ring charged $350 . The next plumber came and snaked the drain and easily fixed the clog. I wouldn't really recommend these guys. read more

After my regular plumber was unable to unclog my kitchen sink drain, I checked the online reviews and called Greenlake Sewer & Drain. I was delighted that someone actually answered the phone and said they could come the next morning. Chuck and Brian showed up on time (after texting me that they were on the way) and they skilfully dealt with a few tough challenges in order to successfully unclog the drain. They are not only great at what they do; they are both very personable. I was sad to see them go, but happy to be able to use my kitchen sink again. I would recommend them without reservation to anyone. Oh, and the charge was very reasonable. Greenlake sewer & drain came to my rescue today (during Covid-19 outbreak, no less) and unclogged my sewer pipe line. Chuck arrived shortly before the 10am appointment & we discussed the house sewer & pipe lines. He promptly got to work with an electric drum-machine pipe auger. After 100+ feet of cable down the drain, he guided through the clogged sections expertly. When he retracted the cable, up came a mass of BABY WIPES (and some old-style mop string) used by someone else living on my street! We tested the sewer line with all the house taps running and it was fully working again. All done in less than an hour. Chuck was prompt, efficient and knowledgable on this project.
