Right away you can tell this place is well run. The energy is welcoming, the staff actually cares, and the community vibe is real -- competitive but still friendly. Pickleball-wise, it's stacked. 8 indoor courts that are clean, permanent, and play great, plus 7 outdoor courts if you want fresh air. Runs are organized, people know how to play, and they're always hosting tournaments and competitive events, which I really appreciate as someone who plays a lot. Outside of pickleball, the gym setup is legit. Full cardio and strength equipment, unlimited group classes like yoga, barre, and more. Locker rooms are clean, with showers, sauna, and steam room -- clutch after long sessions. Pro shop is fully stocked and the staff is always down to help with gear or questions without being pushy. Small thing but funny -- they even added a ping pong table, which kinda says everything about the vibe here. Functional, fun, and community-first. One of the best things they offer is their demo paddle rental program. You get 30 days to try different paddles and can check out up to three at a time. During that period, you can come back and swap them out as many times as you'd like to find the right fit for your game. The rental fee is applied back to your account as store credit once you return the paddles, which can be used toward a future purchase. Just keep in mind there is a $2 per day late fee if you return them after the rental period. They also sell demo paddles at discounted prices, so it's worth keeping an eye out if you're looking for a good deal and don't necessarily need a brand-new paddle. This is a great option for anyone getting into pickleball or looking to upgrade their equipment without making a blind purchase. I'll definitely be back!

I swapped rackets many times lol and it was always pretty quick and easy. Anytime I needed a recommendation, I felt like I could trust what they were telling me from their own tennis experience! I ended up getting a Head Gravity racket with pretty blue, Mach 10 strings to match lol - I couldn't be more pleased with my choice! The price match they offer can also be handy - even though they ended up having the cheapest prices in store when I went, it's good to keep in mind if you happen to see a cheaper price online, they'll honor it, according to their policy! Really disappointing experience at Bay Padel's glow-in-the-dark event…read more The event was clearly overbooked to a ridiculous degree. We arrived just after the recommended regular arrival time expecting to actually play, only to be told that the earliest available time was roughly two hours later, while pickleball had a wait of around four hours. For a paid, ticketed event costing $80+, that's completely unacceptable. If you're selling tickets, there should be some reasonable relationship between the number of people admitted and the actual capacity of the courts and venue. We waited around for about half an hour but ultimately left without playing anything and without even getting a drink. The most frustrating part is that none of this was communicated beforehand. Had we known that buying a ticket effectively meant standing around for hours hoping to get a court, we never would have gone. It felt less like a properly organized event and more like they simply sold as many tickets as possible without much regard for whether attendees could actually participate. Extremely poor planning and a terrible customer experience.

Unfortantely, I had to stop going and processed a cancellation of my membership. Some how the process never finished and I was getting charged. I was able to get help from the location manager (Lou) and she was really understanding and respectful. She was able to get the situation resolved pretty quickly and I remembered why I fell in love with the place. I took my first formal lesson with Bryan in Nov 2023, it was awesome. He had watched me play a bit,…read moreand identified a couple things I could work on. I wasn't getting to the kitchen fast enough after my drives, and they were too inconsistent. He got me more balanced and moving forward quicker, and he used a game that helped track the results of my drives, which showed i was probably being too aggressive. I started hitting higher percentage shots, and paid off a few days later with better results! He also analyzed my grip and taught me techniques for how to use it in a couple different ways that really worked for that style. I have an Eastern grip and it works for the scorpion. He did a couple different drills to help me learn and get comfortable with those shots, and I can't tell you how good it felt to smoke a couple scorpions in our mock game, I am definitely going to use that shot in the wild. Bryan is a real student of the game, and I could see how he designed his lesson with a progression in mind, to teach the core part of each skill, then work it into more game-like situations. Really helpful, you can tell the guy is a former teacher. Anyway, good luck on your pickleball journey. I've always been self-taught in sports, but it's smart to take a few lessons and learn the right technique and mindset for the game!
