Cool indoor padel and pickleball place. The courts were nice. The only downside is their lights. They were positioned so that one side of the court was like looking into the sun. Also, we were there on a cool day, and we were all sweating. A fan or some cross ventilation would be great. Really disappointing experience at Bay Padel's glow-in-the-dark event. The event was clearly overbooked to a ridiculous degree. We arrived just after the recommended regular arrival time expecting to actually play, only to be told that the earliest available time was roughly two hours later, while pickleball had a wait of around four hours. For a paid, ticketed event costing $80+, that's completely unacceptable. If you're selling tickets, there should be some reasonable relationship between the number of people admitted and the actual capacity of the courts and venue. We waited around for about half an hour but ultimately left without playing anything and without even getting a drink. The most frustrating part is that none of this was communicated beforehand. Had we known that buying a ticket effectively meant standing around for hours hoping to get a court, we never would have gone. It felt less like a properly organized event and more like they simply sold as many tickets as possible without much regard for whether attendees could actually participate. Great workout area for pickleball and padel! Staff is wonderful. They have ping pong tables and paddles and TV and merch store. Bathrooms are outside which is annoying. It can be pricey but it's cheaper if you are a member. They also have social events! Very clean. I wish it was easier to take Muni or the ferry here. read more

Went for one of their Glow-In-The-Dark nights and was such a unique experience! It's on Treasure island inside a huge warehouse which was pretty cool to see so many courts. They sent out an email two weeks after booking the tickets saying the amenities that are usually there are being taken out since there will be construction but will be compensated by having an hour of playtime on a court. However, when our group got there and signed up for one of the slots, the guy told me it was only 30 mins and was incorrect. I didn't like how they were not transparent about this since there were so many people who did sign up with that presumption. We also ended up getting a court with a coach which sucked as we only ended up playing Kings Court and not a regular game. In addition, they had added an addition couple to our court where we already had a group of 8 people which indeed shorten a lot of playing time for our group. The open bar was nice though and definitely got my moneys worth while playing. The arcade and other game area was over advertised and were underwhelming. Is a once and done experience but overall it wasn't horrible but def a bit overpriced imo. read more

Absolutely love this place!! Have been here a few times now, both solo and with my company for a company event. It's been a blast every time. I had never played Padel or Pickleball before, so I started with their beginner classes. The instructors are fantastic and make both sports seem very approachable. Learning a new sport as an adult can be intimidating, but they make it genuinely fun. Highly recommend signing up for a class if you're new or if you want to get better. The space itself is great. They have been working on expanding the space, so there has been construction going on, but it doesn't get in the way. They have many courts, both inside and outside and both for Padel and pickleball. It was also a perfect venue for our company event. There was a great balance between court time and hangout areas, with couches, tables, and even table tennis for anyone who wanted to relax and socialize. 5/5 would recommend! read more

In fact, you can even rent out the space, and there's tons of room for festivities. Easy to get to if you have a car and plenty of free parking. If you're coming from SF, there's no bridge toll. Bay Padel is the BEST! I organized a large group to come play pickleball for a few hours and Sofi and the team were incredibly accommodating. They were quick to respond, very helpful, and were amazing day-of. They answered so many of my silly questions and provided guidance for the event. The pre-work to the event was AWESOME - seriously couldn't have asked for a better experience. When we got there, the team was ready to go and the facilities were incredible!! I was blown away with how large the space is. 4 pickleball courts and 4+ Padel courts in a giant warehouse. There was great airflow as they had the doors open and the lighting was terrific too. They have snacks and drinks you can buy there as well as nice bathrooms, a sitting area equipped with couches and even a TV, and they had a MUSEUM?! So cool. They had good music bumping the whole time that really added to the atmosphere. There were ping pong tables too that the folks not playing pickleball could hang out and do. Everyone that came absolutely LOVED it. No hidden fees (seriously great value), everything was straightforward, and the team there came over a few times just to make sure we had everything we needed. So great. Our event was a huge success thanks entirely to Bay Padel and its team. We will most certainly be back again and I'll be referring this place to everyone! I attended a half-day long event here to experience the facility. There are two outdoor padel courts, four indoor padel courts, and four pickleball courts. The lounge areas are very spacious and there are even some ping pong tables. They have everything you would need there such as lockers and showers, they sell snacks and equipment, and there was a food truck on site when I visited on a Sunday. There are picnic tables in the outdoors areas with a nice view. They are even building an art gallery! The location is accessible with parking as well as being a short walking distance from the bus stop. I attended a padel clinic and the instructor was easy to follow and it was beginner friendly. They care a lot about building community and host events often. read more

Lived in the Bay for almost 3 years now and am shocked I am just learning about this place now. Located just outside of the city on Treasure island, Bay Padel boasts 4 state of the art Padel courts and 4 pickleball courts. Our group rented out the pickleball courts for a couple of hours, but they let us try out the Padel courts with equipment for free! Staff was kind and accommodating of our large group. They moved so quickly it felt like we were playing within 30 seconds of entering the facility. Despite the state of the art facility all beginners in our group felt very comfortable. Good price too! So Much Fun! We booked a beginner lesson to check out the game. One tennis pro, two tennis/pickleball players, one tennis only player. Adjusting to this slower, more graceful ball pace was pretty funny at the start. Fortunately, our pro, Marcel, got us going. Padel is a great game. Wish we had courts on the Peninsula. THIS PLACE SMELLS LIKE TOILET. The sewage odor is strong when you walk in the door. There are animal feces around the walls. When you lose ball then you can't use the ball anymore for safety and health. The bathrooms are disgusting. Portable toilets and the locker room has the mold. I play padel around the world and mainly in Mexico. The court surface here is not good and too much sand for safe playing. Lighting is bad and they have speaker far away so you can't hear the music. The drive there is a war zone with the potholes. My new car also got scratched when I was there and nobody left a note. As for the staff there, they do not understand hospitality or customer service. They are rude and disorganized. They move our indoor court to outside without letting us know and did not discount it. I have played here for a few months and dread going there. Marcel is the main reason we will not book courts here. If he doesn't like you, then you don't get a court on time or he will book classes on the court you booked. There were good coaches here then they were not. Nobody seems to like working here. It's just a weird place to go. As much as I love playing pádel, it is not worth getting treated this way. Members are nice and they also complain about the staff at Bay Padel. read more
