If I could give this company zero stars I would they were very unprofessional refused to do a job after we did the walk-through and confirmed price and job called us 20 minutes later to meet them back at the property and close up because they're refusing to do their job. I hired cleaners to clean and if they don't clean what really is their job it wasn't a cheap "either so I am very much disappointed I will never ever recommend this company to anyone in life. My house was dirty!!! It hasn't been throughly cleaned in a long time! June is one of the most intense cleaners I've ever seen! She was at my house 4+ hours. Halfway through you could smell the cleaniess throughout the house. June cleans down to the detail! I will be having PROFICIENT i.e. June clean on a regular basis from now on. I cannot say enough good things about her. She arrived at 2PM on the dot. She explained everything she was going to do, made sure to explain the charges. I scheduled a move out clean because of all of the great reviews here on Yelp. The place was not excessively dirty, and I had 4.5 hours scheduled for a 3 bedroom 2000 SQ Foot home. I was sent a text three and a half hours into the service and was told they would be done at the four hour mark. The girls did a great job on walls and baseboards, but missed these items: - Soap residue on the shower doors - Main bath shower head wasn't touched at all - Faucet and water controls were covered with their cleaner and not wiped off - Some blinds were not dusted - Didn't touch the washer and dryer - High closet shelves were not dusted - The range wasn't touched and the counter next to the range had pancake batter visible If it wasn't visible and listed specifically on their website, they didn't touch it. Here were my biggest issues: First off, after I pointed out everything that was missed upstairs, I was handed a rag and this CLR spray bottle. She commented that she always misses the shower head before I cleaned these items myself. She also said they won't touch the washer and dryer. This wasn't a huge deal to me because she was vacuuming, but she was pretty apathetic over it. Second off, when I asked why she didn't lift the range up the clean the pancake batter on the side of the counter, she immediately called her boss and said that I was asking to do additional work and she was going to be late. She told me that the range top wasn't in her scope of duties, and I said that's fine to just clean the counter next to it. It was a total snap to the defensive. She said her boss would call me about it. I then have this guy call me up implying that I was asking to do extra work and I may have to pay for it. It was almost like a game like he was going to cut me a break for doing this extra work if I was 100% happy. $80 an hour, and I have to deal with this? I have to rate these guys a "meh, I've had better". I think my previous experience with Molly Maid was much better a couple years prior. This wasn't the first time I been burnt by local businesses with super perfect Yelp reviews, but this is the first time I posted a review about a less than stellar experience. I think I will do this more often. read more

Chelsea was amazing and extremely thorough. She was also very friendly, which helped a great deal with how embarrassed I was with the state of my house. She was also very quick! We just signed a lease for our new townhome and we were so excited to move in. Unfortunately, when we went into the place, we found that everything was dirty--the kitchen was a greasy mess, the carpets had not been cleaned (maybe not even vacuumed), the bathrooms were gross. It was bad. We called Proficient Clean the next day and told them about our situation. They were friendly, helpful, and super quick. We set up an appointment for the very next day (today!). They even worked with us on the price, as our landlord only agreed to pay up to a certain amount for cleaning and carpets. Ashley came out and worked, worked, worked. She really made the place shine, even the greasy kitchen. The carpets look SO much better. Overall, we were super happy with all of the services, and I would not hesitate to recommend them to a friend. Used this service based on the excellent Yelp reviews. Chris was a pleasure to deal with. I've never used a cleaning service before and I guess I had pretty high expectations. I purchased a deep clean after a tenant moved out. Some areas were missed completely. I.E. commonly used areas. light switches, kitchen sink and the master bathroom floor was never mopped. When I emailed Chris again just to let him know, just a heads up. I got the dress down regarding the walk-thru and the paperwork that was signed. I used Proficient Clean for my apartment move out cleaning and they did a wonderful job. My place wasn't overly messy, but after a half year of being too busy for regular maintenance cleaning, anywhere can get a bit grungy, right? After getting all my stuff out, they took over and man, can they clean! By the time all was wrapped up, they had cleaned stuff I never would have thought of on my own. She gave me a priority list of things to clean and I sent it to Dillon for the staff. The employee showed up on time, spoke english and did a great job! I am very glad I chose proficient clean and very happy with the job they did. My previous cleaning lady and other companies I've tried always did a mediocre job and left me feeling like I wasted money and if I had taken the time, I would have done a much better job. These ladies did a far superior job. They worked hard and deep cleaned everything. They cleaned under things rather than just around, baseboards, doors, etc. They wiped everything, from the couch to the random piece of decor. I will definitely be using them regularly. read more

Hard to write this review. 1 star for finished price. 3.5 for cleaning. Cleaners were very nice and did an okay job. They arrived late and they had a 4 hour window to clean within. I had to leave so I ended up having to leave them in my home when I left. I gave permission for this. worked out okay. Just understand this may happen to you. I thought we settled on one price but, when I got the bill, it was about 100% higher. The owner was very nice. But, instead of an argument, I just said okay. Some things were not done that were supposedly covered. She offered to send the workers back out. I said no. I mentioned that maybe a refund of some sort would be nice. She did NOT want to do this. But, she did. And not very much. Overall, Not very happy with this operation. This was an easy job and turned into a pain in the behind. I suggest you tell the owner EXACTLY what you want done. Unless she repeats ONLY what you said, repeat again. I even got an email and I misunderstood, or at least that is what she claimed. Make SURE you are settled in on a price. No ifs ands or buts !!! I'm looking for a company to help make my life easier, not give me a headache every time I talk to them. Scheduling an appointment was a chore, their website gave me a price quote that they don't even offer (not even sure how that's possible ), we had to remind them to bill us, and our appointment time was changed the day of... really should have been wary after all of this, but we went ahead with the cleaning. It took the lady 3 hours to clean our 2 bed 2 bath apartment, and she didn't even touch one of the bedrooms... It was an okay clean, we've received better from other companies, but this one is slightly cheaper so we were willing to give them another shot. Tried booking with them last week and was told that since we didn't book an appointment right after our last one we didn't qualify for the reoccurring discount. I informed them when we scheduled our first appointment that I was looking for a monthly service, and was never told to book at the end of the first appointment for a discount. There was no follow up from their end, and I'm not going to pay $45 an hour for just an okay job. Do yourself a favor and pay a few dollars more for a better customer service and a better clean. read more

We tried to set this up from afar and it didn't work very well. The actual cleaning service was somewhat slow, as several tasks didnt get done in the alotted 2 hours. What did get done, though, seemed fine. Customer service/communication with us was very poor. They missed the appointment entirely and had to reschedule for the next day, with no explanation given as to why they could not find the apartment after we told them repeatedly.
