It's one thing when people are angry or emotional- I promise you I did not write this after seeing the other one star reviews ... note how we all have the same issue in common - this is a problem and will ensure that you have a horrific experience no matter what you're going into the PT for .. even if it's covered by insurance, which clearly a lot of of us are going here for the reason of, it's not worth it. Wait for another Referal that's what I'm telling myself. It's worth waiting and being in pain it would be way less painful than going through those doors, one more time and having to even look at the person at the front - something is wrong with her ...plz do not go here if you ever want to receive treatment for whatever injury or physical body ailment you are going to need professional help for, unless you want to leave with more than you came with and have a mental illness. In addition to whatever physical thing is going on then you should go here it'll really do a number on ya Ok--I'm not writing this out of anger -- I'm writing it because I feel genuinely obligated to warn others. What I experienced at this office was beyond unprofessional. After weeks of waiting for my authorized referral, I repeatedly tried to schedule an appointment. The front office almost never answered the phone, and when they finally did, I was hung up on mid-scheduling. Because it was so strange, I went in person. It only got more bizarre. The front desk staff didn't greet me, didn't acknowledge the phone issue, and acted irritated that I was even there. I walked in politely and was met with hostility. I was given multiple contradictory excuses for why I couldn't be scheduled -- that I was a new patient (I wasn't), that my referral wasn't authorized (it was), and that she was "training someone all day." None of it made sense. Eventually, the staff member literally scampered out of the building in the middle of our conversation, saying she "had to go to the other office," for no apparent reason lol...leaving me standing there with no explanation or path forward. The trainee didn't even know her name. I asked for her name very calmly, and the same calm cadence I had maintained the entire time... and she genuinely did not know the name of the person who had "been training (her) all day". Oh boy. I've been to clinics with far fewer resources that operated with more professionalism, clarity, and basic courtesy. Whether they had an attitude or hated their job or not things get done -- and I will say I haven't always had the best demeanor never rude never unkind, but I have been my own kind of frustrated or discard told in the past I'm sure, but in this case not at all not whatsoever, I couldn't have been more neutral, and by the book, as far as everything I had for the appointment prepared, and as, as I was given the fact that I had to go in person just to reach someone after over a month of Weight time from this Referal, that everyone knows in this situation takes quite a while, and clearly in this situation specifically, this Referal was a physical therapy one which indicates some sort of physical discomfort, injury, etc., which I don't feel I need to even explain here nor there it's insane even writing this right now is giving me war flashbacks. This was genuinely one of the strangest and most stressful interactions I've ever had in any medical setting. Now that I think about it, I think she ran out of the office and made up a reason because she didn't want the other people in the waiting room to hear the insanity. What was going on on her part it was probably embarrassing, even though you wouldn't know it because she seemed so bothered and disgusted with me for even having the nerve to come into the office (or her home??) you truly would've thought that I had barged in during the middle of an important personal meeting or celebration or something. It was the strangest reaction I've ever had from an office staff member .. If you're seeking physical therapy because you're injured or trying to heal, the last thing you need is added stress. Based on my experience, please run from this office. I hope management takes accountability, but until then, please be cautious choosing care here. If you want to see for yourself, just try giving them a call-- you won't be able to reach anyone though and if you do, I'm sure you will be met with some debilitating or frustrating scenario to follow. I have no idea where the Good Review reviews are coming from on here, but I will never recommend this place. Not until I've had an amazing experience that dissolves all memory of this at least. It would be really cool if I could come here considering it's right next-door to me, but until then I'm keeping the review up. read more

Based on their office administration this place should have their insurnace contract revoked. It took 2 weeks of leaving messages to finally get a hold of someone on the phone. Then they said they will call me back within 2 days to set up an appointment, but they never called. Then after calling them 6 times, they finally said they will give me an appointment that is 3 week. It took a freaking month for them to tell me that my appointment is in 3 weeks. Save your time and don't call them. read more

After my initial not so great experience, the owner Dr Naz called me directly to apologize. I was very impressed with her gesture and I decided to give this business a second chance. I am very happy that I did because aside from that first interaction, my experience over the past two months with the entire staff has been really wonderful. The therapists and TAs have been excellent. They create treatment plans that really help and I have seen great improvement since starting. They also make these exercises so I can do them at home which really helps in furthering my recovery. The environment is also very warm and friendly with music playing in the background and I feel very comfortable every time I go to my appointments. I suffered a bimalleolar fracture from a biking accident, requiring anke surgery. I then needed physical therapy to strengthen the joint, which now has a steel plate and screws around it. I chose Profizix for the convenient location and for its sleek and comprehensive website. I also loved the clever name! I was not referred by anyone and simply trusted my gut. When I started my sessions, I was impressed with the therapist's knowledge and the center's vast arsenal of therapeutic tools. Using straps, bands, blocks, kettle bells and ankle weights, I gradually strengthened both my ankle and my knee above it, which had also atrophied a bit in my sedentary phase after surgery. What a variety of exercises! They were all effective and I ended up purchasing a few of the straps and bands for home use. All of the patients are treated in one large room, where different exercise sections and therapy tables are set up around the perimeter. During my session I could see the other 2 or 3 (sometimes 4) therapists instructing their scheduled patients in other parts of the room, and this is what I also love about this place! There's not only a motivating energy watching others work through their various injuries, but overall there's a nice communal vibe. Founder and therapist Nazanin Amini (pictured) has wisely surrounded herself with qualified therapists and receptionists who (like herself) are quite congenial. Although I was sometimes assigned to a different therapist, it didn't matter because I liked all of them. I also enjoyed the cool lounge music that my frequent therapist Colin (also pictured) curated from his personal collection. This place is special. I could easily hang out at a bar with any of these peeps. Now that I've recovered, I'm considering breaking my other ankle so I can return for more therapy! read more

Don't waste your time. I wasted 4 weeks thinking it would get better and i would get stronger. 1- they charged my insurance for (4) 15 min increments or 1 hour session when in actuality it was at best a 45 min session, often 10 min late starting in first morning appointment. And a lot of that time is waiting between exercises to get someones attention. On initial consultation, it was 20 minutes, they charged insurance for the consultation and 45 minutes of directed exercises that never occurred or was offered. 2- Inconsistent therapy: you never know who you are going to get to work with on a given day so there is not history or continuity, and you are bounced around between 2-3 people in a given session. 3- people are nice enough, but young, don't give good direction, and not attentive - too busy chatting with each other. can be overheard talking about what they will be doing after they get through school, the next thing, etc, so this is clearly just a temp job for most of them and i have no idea what their credentials are, individually. 4- space is dumpy, unprofessional 5- felt little progress in 4 weeks I suppose i am spoiled by the last PT i had who spent a solid hour with me and no other patients, continuity of care with a single PT provider over the course of 6 months, checking on progress and activity at home, directing proper position and exercise to strengthen specific areas to prevent future injury. Unfortunately the owner retired and the shop closed down or they would have been my go to. read more

I came in for a previous back injury that had flared up and a new carpal tunnel injury. The location and physical studio is excellent. They have so much equipment that made each session feel different. The staff is incredible, from really efficient and friendly front desk (thanks for putting up with all my schedule changes!) to the PTs/OTs who were thoughtful, friendly, and very supportive. Most of the exercises you're gonna learn don't require any supervision whatsoever. After about a couple weeks here, you're gonna feel the monotony of it all. One of the staff member had absolutely no idea how to strap on the electron strobes of healing properly . As a result, I reflexively let out a shriek , when -- what was supposed to be therapeutic-- ended up being where I became an educational lesson for said staff member because she never got the routine down. And I suffered as a result. And worse yet, I would be chastised for being too loud. In front of everyone. It was extremely rude and inappropriate -- especially when she caused it!!! So when I confronted them the first time, they acted like they 'considered me a friend.' I want to make this clear: I'm not your friend. Nor was I ever. I'm your client. And you disappointed me in the third act of my care. My arrival times? In the ' over 30 plus sessions' I had, I lapsed one session, and had to push back another by fifteen minutes. If you think that I'm a problem adhering to the schedule, one wonders whether this business is even in Los Angeles ! read more

The therapists here are all great and really care about you getting better. And I did have some improvement with flexibility and strength after injury, but the management is very corrupt. The management will bill your insurance for appointments you canceled and will try to sneak in some cash fees for late or canceled appointments. It seems even the people work here really care to help you get better, the owner only care about the money. So I stopped coming here and will train at home. The goal is to avoid surgery, and I feel we are on the way, yay. Dominique has pushed me like no other PT and built strength that I never knew I had. I love profizix physical therapy they are open Saturdays till 3 and it was very hard to find a physical therapist that is open on Saturdays I work during the week to coming here on Saturday was a life saver. They are also very clean and wipe down all the equipment after every use the owner is hands on and is always there I love her. Today I witnessed so I have been coming to the screen for the last six months who I assume is a new patient call Micheal was being rude and condescending to the staff while staff was trying to explain his insurance policy and procedures.
