Screenshot of poor customer service and censorship of customer feedback

Beware of this dealership as they are extremely fraudulent. I recently took my Jeep Cherokee in for a recall repair. Upon the completion of the repair I received a phone call from service department representative Kane Medley informing me that I need nearly $1,000 worth of work to the vehicle. The report of recommended work included items that were just completed 3 days prior during an oil change. He also stated that it was "urgent" I replace my oil pan gasket due to a serious leak despite no leaking oil and no loss of oil in the car. Additionally the car was returned to me with the check engine light on which was not on prior to this service visit. After multiple unhelpful conversations via text and phone call I was finally able to have them look at the car again to find that they had conveniently forgotten to plug several plugs back in after the recall work was completed. After this horrible experience dealing with one rude employee after another, I was ready to put the whole thing behind me when I received a text from the dealership asking to complete the satisfaction survey which I never received. I responded by asking for the survey to be resent because I would love to provide my feedback. Within a few minutes I received a text back saying that I was ineligible for the survey (please see attached screenshot). This dealership is censoring feedback to make themselves look better while they are scamming customers. Absolutely do not trust them with your vehicle.

The actual service performed on my Jeep was wonderful and so was my rep Candice (Kevin is also my favorite). I loved this place until this day. HOWEVER, my car was returned to me insanely scratched. All 4 sides and hood. I have never scratched my vehicle in the almost two years I have had it other than behind the handle. My ring hits it. When I told the service manager, John Karides, he denied fault and was rude. Candice assured him they were new. She always inspects my vehicle upon drop off and knows my Jeep quite well. (He later tells me on the phone the next day that she isn't "qualified for that", but it's always what they do when they keep cars. The manager offered for their body shop to take a look at it. Their body shop dry buffed and made it worse WITHOUT proper cleaning or waxing AND they didn't use any compound!! This left circles over my ENTIRE vehicle. John didn't seem to care.in fact, I was then told "ma'am you have a black car in Ohio. You're going to see these marks from car washes". My response: "Excuse me? My vehicle has never been through a car wash so no I wouldn't have these marks on my car". They then told me they ran it through one prior to buffing!! I have stated too many times to count to never take my car through a car wash. Why? Because I have a black vehicle and I'm not an idiot. I'm sure John was very sick of me so I was told they would talk to me about it the next morning because it was almost closing time. That night, I went to the PROFESSIONAL place I trusted to do this job, took my Jeep, and got a proper quote. $1000. A price that was far below the actual price of $1600 because they were being good to me and wanted to make sure I could get this handled and knew it wouldn't be easy. it needed a paint correct. After hours of calling to get ahold of John, I finally spoke to him about 2pm. He was in "meetings all day and didn't realize he had a deadline to call me back". I told him what I had found and he said "yeah no that's too expensive we will never pay for that". Oh, I'm sorry, my Jeep that I bought from you is expensive. He said he spoke to his GM, who never once looked at my car or spoke to me and made this decision from the comfort of his office, and told me that I could have their place in Navarre buff again because it's only going to cost them $250 or they would "cut me a $500 check and I can drop it". I said excuse me? I don't trust you guys anymore and $500 isn't fixing my car. What do you mean drop it? He said "like we don't speak about it again and go wherever you want". 1. I don't take hush money. 2. That's admitting fault. 3. I don't believe this "certified dealership" is up to Jeep or Chrysler customer service standards. My dad worked for Jeep from 18 years old to retirement day and I know that company is BIG on customer service. Needless to say both CHRYSLER and my attorney are now involved. Stay far, far away from this dealership. Poor ownership, poor management, and the good little people in there don't deserve the bad reputation their "leaders" give them. Side note- my wife once tried to buy a Dodge Ram Power Wagon there. Showed up with financing ready and ready to drive off the lot. When she wanted her Jeep friends and family discount she was told she had to either finance through them or take thousands less on her trade in to be given the discount. When she said no, Jacob said to her "If you can't afford the payments, then you shouldn't buy this truck". Are you serious?! We ended up buying a bigger and better one from Daystar in Malvern. Quick, easy, no hassle, and the kindest people we have ever met. Take yourself there. Do yourself a favor and go there instead.

8 HOURS ON THE ROAD FOR A $15,000 DISASTER…read more 1 STAR -- because Yelp won't let me give zero. If this dealership's idea of customer service is wasting an entire family's day, misrepresenting a vehicle, and then handing customers the keys and telling them to go find the damn thing themselves, then congratulations--they nailed it. We drove FOUR HOURS EACH WAY specifically to look at a Jeep Renegade we had discussed with "Katie." We were told the Jeep was WHITE. It wasn't white. Not even close. It was a blue-gray color and listed as SILVER. Apparently identifying the color of a vehicle you're trying to sell is too much to ask. But after already driving FOUR HOURS, we decided to at least look at the thing. You'd think knowing customers were traveling that far for a scheduled appointment would motivate somebody to pull the Jeep up front, wash it, inspect it, start it, or at least make sure it wasn't an embarrassment before we arrived. Nope. They handed us a plate and the keys and essentially told us to go find it ourselves. That's the level of customer service we're talking about. As I walked toward the Jeep, I hit the remote start. Immediately, I thought, What the hell is wrong with this engine? It sounded awful. I shut it back off until I could get to the vehicle and pop the hood. On the way there, I started noticing the rest of this $15,000 masterpiece: dings and dents across the rear hatch and along the driver's side. I had my wife start it again while I stood at the open hood. What I saw and heard was enough for me. There was significant visible corrosion/rust in the engine/exhaust area, including around the catalytic converter area, and the mechanical noise was bad enough that I wasn't willing to trust the vehicle enough to even TEST DRIVE IT. Let that sink in. We drove FOUR HOURS to potentially BUY this Jeep, and after seeing and hearing it in person, I wouldn't even take it around the block. They were asking around $15,000 PLUS FEES for it. Based on what I personally saw and heard, I'd have a hard time valuing this particular Renegade at more than about $3,000. And where was "Katie," the person we made the appointment with and expected to meet? Not there. We were looking for her when we arrived because nobody had clearly explained that "Katie" was an internet sales representative who apparently wasn't going to be there for our appointment. So let's add this disaster up: 8 HOURS of driving round trip. Gas burned. An entire day wasted. My wife took time away from a job where she earns approximately $70 an hour. And our 18-year-old daughter, who thought we were making this trip to potentially bring home her Jeep, got to ride four hours home disappointed. All of this could have been prevented by something incredibly complicated called HONESTY AND BASIC CUSTOMER SERVICE. Tell us the correct color. Tell us the actual cosmetic condition. Have somebody physically look at the vehicle before allowing a family to drive four hours to see it. Start the damn thing and listen to it. And if customers have an appointment after telling you they're traveling FOUR HOURS, maybe have the vehicle READY WHEN THEY ARRIVE instead of tossing them the keys and making them hunt through the lot for it. Used cars aren't perfect. We weren't expecting perfection. We were expecting honesty, preparation, and a basic level of respect for our time. We received none of the above. The condition of the Jeep was bad enough. What really pissed me off was the complete lack of consideration for customers who made an eight-hour round trip based on the information this dealership provided. Had they accurately represented the color, cosmetic condition, and overall condition of this Jeep before we left home, WE WOULD NEVER HAVE MADE THE TRIP. Our experience made us feel like our time, money, and family simply didn't matter to them. If you're considering traveling any significant distance to buy a vehicle here, my advice based on our experience is simple: GET EVERYTHING VERIFIED BEFORE YOU LEAVE YOUR DRIVEWAY. Ask for current photos. Ask for a cold-start video. Ask them to walk around the vehicle on video. And make damn sure the vehicle you're driving hours to see is actually what they told you it was. Because I wouldn't drive four minutes for the experience we got here again--much less four hours. Absolutely unacceptable.
