I am done here. I took my truck in for a soft brake pedal. I was contacted saying front rotors were slightly pitted, needed to change, although last " inspection" said brakes n pads were fine. So $600 later I went to pick up my truck, I immediately pushed the brake pedal to the floor. I went back in and told him, he said " THERE ISNT ANY CODES, SO WE WOULDN'T KNOW WHAT TO DO" SERIOUSLY? $200/hr for parts changers. I had a heated mirror supposedly replaced. Aweful dealership, walked out after being given the run around. After setting an appointment to see a vehice, the van wasn't at the dealers. So yoyo drove it home and not coming in for half an hour. Tried to upcharge $3k for some coating to pad the price, didn't negotiate.Sales clerk (can't call Jo Bulso) as salesman, was getting tired going back and forth to the mgr. Where do I begin? It was a disappointing experience. It started with an email about a 2025 Jeep Gladiator priced at $37,999. I test-drove the vehicle, which was great, but the price was not what I expected. I wanted to go home and review everything. The price they quoted me was $43,905--$5,900 more than the original estimate. When I called back and spoke with Cheslee, she claimed prices change overnight, and that was the new price. I added some protection to justify the increase, she said. After I left a review, the manager attempted to call me. I'm unsure if it was posted publicly. I returned his call, but he didn't answer his personal cell phone, so I left a message and haven't received any response from him. Misleading dealership. I've been a loyal Jeep/Chrysler buyer for decades with excellent credit and multiple leases, and I've never experienced anything like this. The prices on Jeep's website included dealer credits and incentives, but they refused to confirm if those were truly available until I drove 4 hours round trip -- only to find the price was nearly double. I know how leases work (MSRP, cap cost, residuals, incentives, dealer margins), and it was clear they simply weren't honoring the credits. Classic bait-and-switch -- buyers beware. read more

Today I called the dealership about a jeep I seen on Autotrader and talked to Sierra. I told her I was 4.5 hrs away, but would leave work early if the numbers were right. Sierra told me they don't work like that and I would have to bring my trade in. She said they are there for local customers. I ask for a manager and talked to Lisa and she wasn't very nice. Refused to do an over the internet / phone deal. I'm glad their business is so good they don't need outside the area business or internet business. I purchased a 2019 Jeep Grand Cherokee end of May 2023. The salesman, Elijah, informed me multiple times that the vehicle was "inspected thoroughly" by their team and everything was fixed. Fast forward 2 months later I bring in my vehicle TO THE SAME TEAM to fix a battery/tire issue and they call to tell me that my A/C compressor was burnt (which does not occur from 2 months of use, moreso years) among other problems under the hood that they "didn't seem to notice" when inspecting before sale. Elijah informs us in July 2023 that he would speak to his manager about making this right and return our call. March 2024 we are still unable to reach him again...Biggest advice, go somewhere else or drive their vehicles to a shop on your test drive to ensure you're not being ripped off like I was. read more

Giving this place a 1 star because 0 isn't an option. Every time I've taken my car in for service it has come out with a new problem. First time I took my car for a routine oil change and the next day all of my oil was in the driveway. We took it back to the dealership and they proceeded to tell me it wasn't their fault and that it already had a major leak which was not the case. If there was an existing major leak I would've noticed. This time I took it in for a recall for a sensor. When I arrived my car was making no sounds or creaks. When I left, it sounded like there was a hole in my muffler and the sound has not stopped since. I still do not know what is wrong with my car, but they did something to mess it up in the process. I was told my leased JGC (in their service garage) was no longer drivable. I was forced into another vehicle, only to discover my previous vehicle on their sale lot. I was scammed. Beware of this dealership as they are extremely fraudulent. I recently took my Jeep Cherokee in for a recall repair. Upon the completion of the repair I received a phone call from service department representative Kane Medley informing me that I need nearly $1,000 worth of work to the vehicle. The report of recommended work included items that were just completed 3 days prior during an oil change. He also stated that it was "urgent" I replace my oil pan gasket due to a serious leak despite no leaking oil and no loss of oil in the car. Additionally the car was returned to me with the check engine light on which was not on prior to this service visit. After multiple unhelpful conversations via text and phone call I was finally able to have them look at the car again to find that they had conveniently forgotten to plug several plugs back in after the recall work was completed. After this horrible experience dealing with one rude employee after another, I was ready to put the whole thing behind me when I received a text from the dealership asking to complete the satisfaction survey which I never received. I responded by asking for the survey to be resent because I would love to provide my feedback. Within a few minutes I received a text back saying that I was ineligible for the survey (please see attached screenshot). This dealership is censoring feedback to make themselves look better while they are scamming customers. Absolutely do not trust them with your vehicle. read more

My daughter found a car on their website that she liked and it stated that it was on the lot so she drove 45 min to see it ...was greeted by a salesman that was very condescending to her and after searching for said vehicle told her it wasn't on the lot that an employee was currently using it and then attempted to get her into something cheaper because he was afraid of her getting a car payment that was too much for her not knowing a thing about her OR her finances so she left and took her Dad with her this time and lo and behold while still stating on their website that the car was on the lot again no it wasn't another hour and a half drive for nothing so now she is going to a competitor and buying her new 2025 Grand Jeep Cherokee at another dealer where she was treated with respect and they did not WRONGLY assume she couldn't afford what she was looking at !!! The actual service performed on my Jeep was wonderful and so was my rep Candice (Kevin is also my favorite). I loved this place until this day. HOWEVER, my car was returned to me insanely scratched. All 4 sides and hood. I have never scratched my vehicle in the almost two years I have had it other than behind the handle. My ring hits it. When I told the service manager, John Karides, he denied fault and was rude. Candice assured him they were new. She always inspects my vehicle upon drop off and knows my Jeep quite well. (He later tells me on the phone the next day that she isn't "qualified for that", but it's always what they do when they keep cars. The manager offered for their body shop to take a look at it. Their body shop dry buffed and made it worse WITHOUT proper cleaning or waxing AND they didn't use any compound!! This left circles over my ENTIRE vehicle. John didn't seem to care.in fact, I was then told "ma'am you have a black car in Ohio. You're going to see these marks from car washes". My response: "Excuse me? My vehicle has never been through a car wash so no I wouldn't have these marks on my car". They then told me they ran it through one prior to buffing!! I have stated too many times to count to never take my car through a car wash. Why? Because I have a black vehicle and I'm not an idiot. I'm sure John was very sick of me so I was told they would talk to me about it the next morning because it was almost closing time. That night, I went to the PROFESSIONAL place I trusted to do this job, took my Jeep, and got a proper quote. $1000. A price that was far below the actual price of $1600 because they were being good to me and wanted to make sure I could get this handled and knew it wouldn't be easy. it needed a paint correct. After hours of calling to get ahold of John, I finally spoke to him about 2pm. He was in "meetings all day and didn't realize he had a deadline to call me back". I told him what I had found and he said "yeah no that's too expensive we will never pay for that". Oh, I'm sorry, my Jeep that I bought from you is expensive. He said he spoke to his GM, who never once looked at my car or spoke to me and made this decision from the comfort of his office, and told me that I could have their place in Navarre buff again because it's only going to cost them $250 or they would "cut me a $500 check and I can drop it". I said excuse me? I don't trust you guys anymore and $500 isn't fixing my car. What do you mean drop it? He said "like we don't speak about it again and go wherever you want". 1. I don't take hush money. 2. That's admitting fault. 3. I don't believe this "certified dealership" is up to Jeep or Chrysler customer service standards. My dad worked for Jeep from 18 years old to retirement day and I know that company is BIG on customer service. Needless to say both CHRYSLER and my attorney are now involved. Stay far, far away from this dealership. Poor ownership, poor management, and the good little people in there don't deserve the bad reputation their "leaders" give them. Side note- my wife once tried to buy a Dodge Ram Power Wagon there. Showed up with financing ready and ready to drive off the lot. When she wanted her Jeep friends and family discount she was told she had to either finance through them or take thousands less on her trade in to be given the discount. I turned my leased car on Tuesday walked away, called them the next day wanted to go ahead by the car out. Finally got of thei floor manager, Brian, and told me no problem and come in Thursday afternoon to finalize the sale. Mid day before we were leaving to go there and said he was sorry, but the bank had picked it up, so I didn't get my car. I called the bank and they had not sent anyone to pick up the car. I called progressive to ask why they lied. I asked to speak to Brian, of course I got his voicemail. Called back 2 more times and they kept putting me in voicemail. I will go to the owners. I have only been here twice, and hated both times I brought my truck in for service. While this time around the person, Nick, in service was good to work with and communicated well, I would avoid this dealership as a whole. I brought my truck here in April to address some recalls and have the button for my cruise control on my steering wheel replaced. Their diagnostic fee annoys me since both times I've told them exactly what's wrong but you still get charged $136. That's beside the point and I paid it without complaint because it is just their policy. I filled out paperwork when I dropped my truck off, and marked the box asking for my parts back. When I picked up my truck, they changed my paperwork to state I asked for them to get rid of the parts (I still have my original saying otherwise) scratched my steering wheel, and also just had completely false information in the paperwork about my truck and things they "checked over". They proceeded to ignore me after that and my complaints about my parts not being returned and my scratched up steering wheel. This visit was much worse. I took it in because the passenger side hinge on my tailgate is frozen. The part under my tail light. And my latch is malfunctioning half the time. They did a diagnostic again anyway, and proceeded to tell me the latch issue is related to my hinge (it's not, problems started 8 months apart and don't coincide). They made me pay $300 when I picked my truck up the first time for the diagnostic, part they ordered, and labor. I finally took my truck back in, only for them to tell me the part they ordered wasn't what is actually wrong and they can't fix it. So even though I told them the exact issue, they proceeded to misdiagnose the issue and couldn't even find the other issue. They gave me a $60 refund. So all in all, they got $240 from me for absolutely nothing. They misdiagnosed something when I had already told them exactly what the problem was. Then proceeded to tell me they can't fix it and I need to take it somewhere else. Yet still charged me $68 for diagnostic and $172 for labor and taxes. This part is my fault for not catching it, and I don't have definitive proof to demand compensation, but before I brought my truck in initially last month, my tailgate had no flaws. I had a video of it a week before with no dqmage. During that visit they bent the bottom corner and I didn't realize it until picking it up today. So my fault for not catching it, but learn from me and take your own before and after pictures/videos with each visit. The initial diagnostic they also tried to include a bunch of things that my truck was due for, even though some I just had done. And their prices were at least double if not triple what valvoline would charge me for the same exact services. All in all, if you still go here, please compare prices with elsewhere. If they don't entirely screw you over all together, they will rip you off on the pricing of services. I will never be going back to this dealership again for anything. read more

My son purchased a vehicle from this dealership and they were great during the purchasing process....BUTTT..... when it comes time to going in and getting service done, they claim to have done an oil change and a tire rotation, only to get it home and realize the tires have not been rotated since the one with the slow leak was still in the back and the oil light came on two weeks later!! So we ended up taking it over to Tire Choice on Lincolnway and getting the oil changed there!! So basically they took my son's money for services that were not done!! Very sad and disappointing, I don't mean to throw covid in the mix but it just seems like a lot of people don't care like they used to!!! Made an appt at 5:30 pm to look at a specific car, arrived at dealership and they were surprised to see me, didn't have car ready, took 40min while I sat and waited then car didn't have gas in it to test drive it. So I left. Not sure why they hand out $5 gift cards, they should just offer better service. There was a teamwork poster on the wall but I didn't see any teamwork, just lots of workers all standing around not helping my salesman make my experience more fluid. It was fine at first but when I decided I might go home and think about it I got dealt with attitude. I never got a thank for stopping by, no help. No more information. So I seen an advertisement for a car on the internet. I called to come see that vehicle. Note I've bought a lot of vehicles and I'm coming to buy based on what I see on the advertisement. If I'm coming to see it, I'm planning on buying it. I headed there and upon arrival that acted surprised to see me. The keep trying to get me to look at something else. I asked again to bring that car around so we could test drive it. They took us back to go over the paperwork and surprise!! The price changed to more than 10 k over what they advertised. We had a bit of a conversation about their false advertising and they denied it. They also say how they give out gift cards. But likely you'll get a 5 dollar gift card for just checking the car out. Now against my better judgement they got me and I bought it. But it was by far the worse brand new car I've even bought. A lemon!! I had to bring it in for a new transmission within the first few months and I couldn't get them to help. I actually had to go to a different dealership to help me. Luckily the other dealership was able to contact the manufacture and get it covered as that would have been very costly. But prior to going to that other dealership I took it in several times since the clutch was sticking to the floor and they keep trying to see me times for my car that I already had on my car. I will never buy from this dealership!!! As they promise things they don't deliver on. And it's been probably 5 years since I bought from them. I admit most dealerships are shady, but this one takes the cake for me. And I've bought 4 car since this one. And return another day. This dealership is not the closest close to my home but after my initial phone conversation with parts, I went there. As Roy checked me in for service, he discussed with me my service history and confirmed all was still good with my vehicle. Poor service. Had truck for 2 days because it stalled and hard time starting, repeated told nothing wrong with it. Drove it, had it idling for 3 hours, etc. nothing. No sounds, no issues we were told.. They had a long list of items they said was wrong but none of those would cause the grinding or stalling. We asked to speak to owner or head person told at 330pm no one in charge there, Charged us for 2 diagnostic checks. Went to pick up it up after hours and could barely get it started. Grinding sounds coming when turn the key. Obviously, they must be deaf. This truck was purchased there and serviced since. Also, not the first vehicle bought and serviced there. I'm not sure that Progressive CDJR deserves a 1.5-star rating on Yelp. I've visited twice and both times I was treated with respect and the salesmen were patient and helpful. When I visited recently to look at Jeeps, my salesman was Paul King. Paul is a great salesman; he put a lot of time and effort into trying to accommodate me. Ultimately I did not purchase a vehicle but that was not Paul's fault. The dealer discount on the Jeep I was interested in was actually really generous. The issue with this dealership is that they low-ball your trade and offer thousands of dollars less than other dealerships. As an example, back in October 2017, they offered me 19,500 for my 2016 Charger RT with only 9k miles on it and I ended up getting 26K for it from another dealership. In early December of this year, I wanted to trade in a 2018 Taurus SEL AWD with low mileage for a new Jeep. Progressive offered 16,500, but I ended up getting 23K for it from another dealership. Both times the difference was 6500, which is huge. As I explained to Paul in an email response to his follow up, I appreciated his time and effort but i'm not going to make a deal when the trade in offer is absurdly low. I believe all deals should be fair, which means a fair price on the new vehicle and a fair offer for the trade in. Otherwise, I will try to make a deal elsewhere. It's as simple as that. I can recommend Progressive CDJR and, of course, Paul King. But my advice to buyers is, always shop around for the best deal on the new vehicle and on your trade. A generous dealer discount on the new vehicle seems great, but only if you receive a fair offer for your trade. Good luck. read more

So I went to the dealership because they were advertising $5,000 for any trade in. There were a couple of cars I was interested in looking at. I pulled in the lot and got out of the car at 12.10 p.m. on Wednesday 6-17-2019. I started looking at the charger and then the challenger. In that time NOT one person came out to greet me . I was kind of amazed usually car salesman watch the lot like hawks. I was turned off, but still ventured into the dealership. I walked in and there was a lady to my right (may have been a customer) She looked up from her cell phone and then dove right back in. I saw the center area had 4-5 employees all having a discussion. I walked around a Big Back Dodge truck and admired it. Still no one asked if they could help me.... But it gets better..... I saw a 2020 Jeep Gladiator, took a bit to look at the jeep and admired the Star Wars Pinball machine next to it. Still Not one person asked if I needed help. I walked out the other side of the show room and left. I was on lot about 8 minutes total with no assistance. None of the cars have prices on them so you know you are in for a haggle fest. I said to myself, maybe the meeting in the center was more important than a customer. At 1.15 p.m. I called the dealership and asked to speak to the sales manager to let him know what happened. I was on hold for 1 minute and 40 seconds, no one came to the call after the operator answered. Must be nice to sell so many cars customers come to you. Amazing, after being in sales 30 years myself how not one person acknowledged the presence of someone that was ready to buy a car. Kind of amazing. Horrible service department and sales people that lie to make a sale. I bought a 2015 Jeep a year ago. During the sales process, there were issues with the battery and starting the vehicle. I had the sales person write up that if I had issues with the battery, they would replace for free. A month later, the battery died and it cost me $250 since they would not honor the free replacement. Not even a year later, the new battery failed. I took the battery out of the Jeep and walked into the parts department to exchange the battery, since it was clearly within the 3 year replacement warranty. I can't believe the series of events that unfolded. Prior to taking the battery for replacement, I had it checked at Autozone and charged it at home overnight. Nothing helped as it still would not start the Jeep. Logically, taking it to the dealer should result in a quick replacement. Not the case. The parts department refused to look at the battery since it was not in the vehicle. I expressed that the vehicle would not start. Why should I have it towed to the dealer if I can simply get a new battery and be on my way. I spoke with management who insisted their policy required that the vehicle was present, with battery in place, to run diagnostics. I expressed this was not practical since I could not start the vehicle and towing it would cause additional delays in getting to work (I was missing the morning at work to get this replaced). So I went back home, placed the bad battery back in the Jeep and got it to the service department only to find out I had to make an appointment. After waiting over an hour for my appointment, the service person took in the vehicle and said it would have to charge over 3 hours before they could run the tests. I didn't hear anything after the 3 hours passed so I reached out and was told the battery failed after 30 minutes charging and was replaced, covered under warranty. If I would have bought a new battery initially at Wal-Mart or Autozone, I would have walked out immediately with a replacement. Instead, trusting my dealer, I lost almost a complete day of work - to swap out a battery - ridiculous. I will never buy anything or have any vehicle serviced at Progressive. I will also tell everyone I know to never deal with Progressive. The sales people lie and the service is horrible. read more

Don't waste your time with these people: (FYI this is the first bad review I have left anyone ever...I loath dishonesty) Went to trade in a decked out and paid-off very low miles 2012 Denali on a mini-van. According to Kelly Blue Book AND Progressives own Value-My-Trade app the Denali is worth 22-25k trade-in, in just good condition, and the advertised sale price of the Van is 28,235. So after waiting around for way too long after the test drive the salesman comes back with the Offer Sheet: My Denali and 14k...I just started laughing. I said more like 5 or 6K, out the door. He came back with my keys and said they just couldn't do that. No problem, I went up too Fred Martin and got one for my car and 6k our the door...just had to wait for it to get shipped over and take delivery. But wait there's more... The next day Progressive calls to ask for our business...I tell them what happened and no big deal I found one and I'm gonna buy it somewhere else...they go on this big to-do about how they are gonna make this right because they were "light" on our trade. They took down my info and said they'd call me right back..... ....FIVE HOURS later they call back and said there was no way they could do my Denali and 6500 but if I came back in they'd be glad to look it over again and give me a better price. I said, "I am having trouble with this math. You want 28,300 for yours and mine is worth 22-25 and tax and title is about 1k? So how is 6k-6500 not right where it needs to be for both parties?" Well I got the speech about how my car might need an oil change and vacuumed out and how if we wanted to go invoice to invoice then the price should actually be 4K higher and blah blah blah... We took our car here to get serviced. Everything was said to be fixed for one price. They didn't fix it successfully and now they are trying to charge us double! After looking the parts up online I noticed their labor rate was SUPER HIGH. Management is unwilling to even work with us on the price with the understanding we would pay for parts. The car that was listed on Autotrader was not available when I arrived. Even though I called and confirmed the availability ahead of time. Coincidence? I called a day later and a lady assured me that the car was not sold and was available for a test drive. Untrue! I spoke with a manager who setup a time for me to meet with Tim Sanders (owner) personally. I arrived and waited more than fifteen minutes (84 million years) before I just grabbed the nearest sales guy. The sales strategy here is SUPER HIGH PRESSURE. At one point, the salesmen asked for my credit card. He mentioned that he wasn't going to charge anything he just wanted to present it to his supervisor as a sign of good faith. This guy tried every trick in the book. He tried to get me to sign for the vehicle before we even negotiated a price. When I indicated that I wasn't happy with the price and would need sometime to think it over, he got very aggressive with me. I've been car shopping for about a month. This is for the service department, and if I could give negative stars I would. The quick lane oil change only ever has one guy working it. The quick change oil change takes over an hour if you can even get in. To get an oil change they are scheduling for 2 WEEKS OUT, for an oil change really? The only reason I go there is because I have two free oil changes and tire rotations through the Jeep Wave program. Terrible, terrible service. read more

Called to test drive a Jeep Cherokee Trail Hawk. They said they only had one left in stock. Showed up to the dealership with my wife 45 minutes later. Talked with Fran inside who sat us down and tried to get our contact information. Told her we wanted to look at the Trail Hawk we called about. She said she was going to find out where on the lot it was. After 10 minutes of waiting at her desk without her we decided to leave. She then appeared, just catching us as we got in our car. She told us she didn't have any in stock. I told her to not to call us and left. Sounds like they'll tell you anything on the phone to get you on the lot. Waste of time, waste of gas. I wouldn't trust these people with my money and so unprofessional. read more

Dealership is almost an hour away from my house; It was worth the drive! I left happy. The owners are good people that were working there the day I purchased. They came over, talk to us and we completed the entire process from start to finish with Maria H. Maria was so much more than a salesperson. Maria worked out the deal, was patient with my kids, was kind and even entertained them to help move the process along as smoothly as possible. I shopped around - they price their vehicles extremely competitively. And after working with several other dealerships in a hunt for the BEST deal...I returned because of the price and because I learn they are extremely professional at Progressive. They were respectful of my wants and needs in a car. They were kind to my very young children. They were respectful of my budget. I didn't feel pressured at all! Needless to say when I need a new vehicle, I will return to either the Chrysler, Jeep, Dodge, Ram side or the Chevrolet side. This service department is shameful. Degrading to women, dishonest, and downright insulting. My vehicle, with only 15k miles, had a washer fluid pump issue. Sure that it was covered by the bumpe-to-bumper warranty that I paid extra for, I took it in to be serviced here. Big mistake. The service tech, Kane Medley, accused me of causing the damage by using "after market" washer fluid. When I showed him the owners manual with no such prohibition, he continued to flim flam his story justifying a $100+ charge! What a racket. Avoid this fraudulent service center at all costs, or it will cost you unnecessarily indeed. read more
