I wrote a distressed email at 6:30am and Collin called me back at 6:37am and laid out a comprehensive action plan that was very easy to understand. Not only was Collin incredibly responsive and kind during a stressful time, but he also made sure the entire claims process was smooth and shockingly fast -- everything was handled and resolved in just ONE week! Collin guided me through every step, answered all my questions with patience, and made sure I felt supported the entire time. Thanks to Collin, what could have been a long, drawn-out disaster turned into a manageable simple process. If you're looking for someone who truly has your back, is an industry expert, and truly cares at the highest level, Collin Doyle is the insurance agent you want. Highly, highly recommend!

To say I'm disappointed with this specific agent and relationship is an understatement. I have been…read morewith State Farm since my father set me up when I was 16 years old. Almost 30 years. I've maintained the relationship with the same office through moves and multiple new home and vehicle purchases, always bundling everything here. I've never missed or been late on one single payment. Over the past two years, we had some appliances leak, in addition to wind damage on our roof. One of the claims was inadvertently a duplicate (never questioned by this office...and for our singular roof), and we were told our entire homeowner policy is now cancelled. I went through the process of an appeal, only to hear today it was declined. With this lag, I only have 3 days (counting the weekend when insurance offices are not open) to find a new policy. Absolutely awful experience, customer service, support and management.

With Lakeshore, or having an Advisor at Lakeshore for your insurance needs seems to be a "thing" in name only. Issue is...my rep never gets back to me without me having to badger/hound him for the answer, a solution, or new insurance policy options. I'm wayyyyyyy to busy for the hounding, when I take time out of my day to work on insurance issues I want to resolve them right then or via a follow up task action that requires a review, sign, and done. He (Lakeshore Insurance) makes it hard for me to find value in remaining a customer with Lakeshore Insurance and having the benefit of a personal insurance "Advisor." I don't write reviews that often but, this seems like a case that needs to be shared. *This has been an ongoing experience with my rep, oh excuse me "my personal advisor," who is always: -slow to respond -not consistent with his follow through -offers "genic" quotes (with no real personalization based upon my needs) when I'm just a phone call away to get proper specs for mileage driven, add-ons, road side assistance needs, rental car needs, etc. All of which are things that impact the premium's price. -me always having to do the "follow up" to get an answer to seal the deal. I started this conversation mid September...it's now November and still don't have what i asked for which is updated quotes....for auto insurance...for four vehicles. Been a loyal customer to Lakeshore Insurance Company for almost 10 yrs, you'd think they would value me for bringing business of four cars and home owners insurance. At this point I'm probably better off going with a big box company who doesn't know me by name and forcing me to speak to a different representative every time (which is okay with me....at least I get my issues, inquiries, and needs met instantly)! Vs. Having a "personal advisor insurance representative," who offers NO real customer service or assistance to personalize my requested insurance needs. -a Disappointed customer

The first accident happened when I was driving home from work. There were signs clearly marked that there was construction ahead and the left lane was closed about a mile ahead. A lady in a big truck decided to pull into my lane with no turn signal and smash the side of my vehicle. Progressive wanted us to split the damages but only when the body shop and a friend who's an engineer explained to the adjuster why it was physically impossible for me to smash my own drivers side door in when she was merging over because her lane was closed ahead , did they fight for me and we won. This next accident involved a motorist with no license and I had a question about hospital bills. We were sent a letter with the claims department an adjuster name. I called today and had the misfortune of speaking to someone who obviously hates their job and their customers. She couldn't be bothered explaining the letter that was sent to me, threw out a bunch of insurance jargon with no explanation with a condescending attitude . She kept repeating the same talking points like a robot, like if she said it six times it would suddenly be clear. Finally after being berated by someone who thinks they are smarter than they are, I hung up on her none the wiser on the situation. I laugh when I get solicitations from Progressive to come back...When you get competent employees who don't hate your customers we'll talk.....

Granted my recent experience is with my friend being rear ended on the way to work, by a Progressive Insured. Fast forward to almost 2 months later and he's still dealing with the adjuster Sean Patrick Williams lic 23-#####. Mr. Williams is not exactly the epitome of Progressives Core Values. Great example was when Sean abruptly hung up on my friend/the claimant. A few days later he called to tell my friend the rental must be returned immediately, even though his own vehicle is NOT BACK TO PRE ACCIDENT CONDITION. (I did a rough calculation and noticed he had been in the rental 34 days; most policies all max of 30 days.) While this may explain Sean's 'urgency', it does NOT allow for ABHORRENT and BLATANT UNPROFESSIONALISM. There's SOOOOO MUCH to this story than what I care to include tonight. It doesn't get better from here... contacted friend who is the former Executive Director of TDI for next steps. I have learned and don't plan on putting my confidence in Progressive Insurance, based solely on the deplorable lack of human decency and blatant unprofessional behavior by one of their "most valued assets"... Not if the way Mr. Sean Patrick Williams is an example of how they treat clients (aka people), I know I don't want to financially collaborate with Progressive Insurance.

My issue: For an office visit my medical provider billed TriCare and received an EOB; Allowed amount as $123, Deductible $65 applied to my cap, and my co-share of $29. My medical provider maintained a copy of TriCare's EOB had been sent to Selman. Some months later, I received a bill from my provider for $55 but there was no breakdown of the amount Selman paid so I called Selman. I waiting in the phone queue for a while and finally spoke with the Selman customer rep. The rep maintained the Tricare EOB listed the TriCare allowed amount as $65 and Selman paid $12.03 to my provider. The TriCare allowed amount was inconsistent with the amount listed on the EOB. The rep maintained that the amount is send to them from my medical provider and he did not have the TriCare EOB. I faxed the Tricare EOB and then called to confirm receipt but couldn't wait that long on the phone. I called the next day to confirm and advised the fax was not received, so I faxed it again. I called to confirm receipt of the second fax and this time waited in the queue, and the fax was received. I then reviewed the Tricare allowed amount and asked how Selman determined their responsible amount. The rep maintained that a re-determination will be completed by Selman Claims within 7 to 10 days and that she did not know how amounts were determined. I asked for the contact information of Selman Claims and she maintained claims could not be contacted by me. That her only contact method was through regular company electronic methods. Couple things: I wish I didn't have a job so I could spend my time in the phone queue. Selman representatives are unable to provide a detailed accounting of claims. Contact with those who complete the claims are inaccessible. The website/customer login functionality is only for account monthly/annual premium payments and information. The site has no EOB detail... a key component of the service your actually paying Selman provide. Again, everyone I spoke with was very polite but in the end Selman does not provide an accounting of the service provided and continues to have extended customer service hold times. I gave Selman a 2 star review because I eventually reached a customer service representative, all of them were polite, and all completed what I would believe to be what they were able to do.
