Great service, professional, and timely. This is not my first time utilizing this company, they have an outstanding all metal security screen product that allows for a cool breeze through your front door, gives privacy from the street and once locked, safety and security that no one can come through your front door. When this door is locked three metal locking mechanisms in three different locations upper, middle and lower on the frame on the same side of the door handle is simultaneously activated with the turn of the lock securing the door. From the exterior you need a key to unlock for door. If that wasn't enough it's a very good looking screen that allows you full visibility outside. I chose a Bronze frame for my screen and am very happy with how it looks. Soon I hope to replace my sliding screen door in the back of our house with their security screen from their new location in Orange that will be opening shortly. read more

I am so happy with the security screens installed on my home! There were a couple of little hiccups before we could get everything installed (one of the screens were cut with the incorrect size and the second time they came out their ladder wasn't tall enough). My neighbor recently painted my house and my old rusty screen door stood out like a sore thumb. My dog kept plowing through my front screens, even the more heavy duty type that I installed. She also pulled the screen frame and bent it, making it unusable. I went two whole hot summers with a living room window being shut. I also barricaded the front windows with furniture so I could open at least one. Same dog could open the front screen door, it no longer latched or locked. My west facing house had no air flow, no A/C. I searched Google for a security screen door and found Progressive Security Screens. Exactly what I needed to keep my dogs in and allowing for airflow. I remembered seeing their doggie-door within the screen slider at the fair. Fantastic idea. Maybe in the future. The measuring and ordering happened very quickly since Jeff Brown lives in my same town of Oceanside. With rains, I had to wait an extra week (about 6 weeks total) until the install. As can be expected for a high quality, custom made product. Install time for three screens was about two hours. Jeff left a generous four keys for the front screen door that we can now lock. I always wonder about neighborhoods with bars on the windows. Must be bad for home values. These are as secure as iron bars and look fantastic. I don't plan on moving, but anyone would appreciate this upgrade. The first day of install, I left the house with the windows wide open and not a single concern. Super happy that my hot home now has a breeze. With modern times, we introduce and trap chemicals and toxins inside our homes, the outside air is much healthier. Especially with Covid present, air flow is important. I wanted a large-dog-proof door and window screens. I received so much more. About six weeks ago, we ordered a custom-made security screen door from Progressive Security Screens and it was installed last week. We LOVE it!! We live in a complex that has a HOA/architectural approval process. The company has standard frame colors but in our case, it needed to match the color of our door so I paid for samples from Prismatic Powders and provided that color sample to the board and to the company. The color is not painted on the frame--it is powder-coated. We also have a very tall door, so that was another part of the custom-order (color and size). Todd, the owner reached out to me when he found out I didn't get the screens I wanted. It was definitely a miscommunication with the sales rep who was helping me and somehow not receiving my email with I asked about the screens. I'm happy to say they changed my screens right away to the s-cape screens which allow you to open the window from the inside but not the outside. This has given me such great relief. I plan to convert my downstairs bonus room into a room and it was such a concern to me that the original screens wouldn't allow you to open the window. Todd did a great job of keeping in contact with me throughout the whole process. I would definitely recommend this company to anyone. This company saved us money! We compared many screen doors for months and looked at the doors friends and family had. Dollar for dollar these are the best priced, (installation included) best manufactured, and best quality doors. We bought 2 sliders and 1 hinged door. Ordered 2 screens (front door and back door slider) in late Oct after extensive measurements were taken. They were installed mid-Dec. Totally reasonable considering 1: there was a holiday and 2: I wasn't in a hurry. They told me at the initial consultation that they were pretty busy and there was about a 6-week wait so I was expecting it anyway. The install went smoothly. Everything was left clean. Totally professional. When I told my friend I was getting screens he laughed at me and said it would make my house look trashy. Even when I told him the price he thought I was nuts. He came over about an hour after the install and was extremely impressed with both the look and quality of the doors. He even said he was going to recommend them to his mom. Of course it was freezing around the time I had them installed so this weekend was the first time I had a chance to have them open. I love my new screen doors and feel totally secure with them open if I am in another part of the house. Absolutely the worst customer service I've ever witnessed...TRULY! It took them three months to complete a screening project (two windows) for my condo complex. They installed the screening early December 2012. The job wasn't complete as pieces of the framing were missing. After numerous emails and phone calls, they finally came back to complete the job mid-March 2013. But wait, while finishing the framing they broke a window. It took them another month (April) to come out and fix that. Now, we have a little blame in this as well. The Association's Secretary, who was overseeing the project, paid them before inspecting the job. So, learn from our mistake. If you chose to use this company, MAKE SURE YOU INSPECT THE JOB BEFORE PAYING THEM. Or it will take you a life time to get them back. UPDATE: My condo complex at 4131 Ohio St was a customer of this company. At the time, I was the Association's Vice President. The Secretary, as stated above, was our point of contact with Progressive. Our Secretary failed in the matter, as stated above. It took my emails of threat to get them back out here to complete the job. In addition, when they broke the window, they failed to inform the Association. Now, he's stating he's never done business with me. Apparently, not only are they unprofessional, but out right liars, too. Trust them if you may, but you've been warned. I have proof and would be glad to share with whomever. Contact me, and I'll meet with you and let you talk to the other residents, specifically, the one with the broken window. Nice try Progressive Screening, but the consumers need to know of your lack of professionalism. UPDATE #2: This guy has got to be a Republican...you keep lying WHEN I HAVE THE PROOF!
