They were very cautious and careful and left the yard completely clean and free of any nails or roofing material. The straightforward approach sent me a written estimate along with a contract. Unfortunately I have a low pitched roof so during the recent heavy rains, we've had some water seepage probably due to too much water on the roof. I have emailed Rob's roofing about the leaks on several occasions and each time, they come out and take care of the offending leak. They even went as far as to remove an edge vent that was preventing the natural flow of water off my roof which was causing water backups and leaks. They installed regular vents in it's place and that solved the leaking issue. We've had some torrential downpours over the past month or so and the attic has remained dry. So, Rob's roofing does stand by their product. No run-around or excuses. They came right out and fixed whatever needed fixing.

While they were not the least expensive, I selected them after reviewing the job with Christo, the owner. He was very knowledgeable and was straight forward regarding the extent of possible issues that may be uncover when the shingles are removed from such an older building (1929). Christo has an extensive portfolio of quality materials to choose from and his suggestions really helped steer me towards the best possible outcome. The work began very shortly after the paperwork was completed and even after finding that the original roof had 3 layers of failed shingles in some areas, had extensive wood rot at the decking, fascia and soffit areas, needed replacement roof ventilation and also required additional work to remove an old school TV antenna... the roof was completed beautifully and ahead of schedule! Communication was on-going and professional throughout the entire job. The clean up was meticulous and complete. Gutters and downspouts were installed a few days later and the house really looks great! I can 100% recommend 1st Choice Roofing... and have already passed their contact information on to both family and friends.

We needed a new bathroom after flooding damage due to a burst pipe. JTAS was selected to do the…read morework. I enjoyed working with the designers and was happy with the final product. However, within 1 year post completion, the tile grout on the curb began to fall out on the outside of the curb. We contacted JTAS to repair. They came out and completed the repair. Within 2 years the grout began to fall out on the shower floor. JTAS came out to look at the damage, but never returned, nor returned calls. My husband repaired as best as he could. A year later the problem got worse with leaking occurring in the ceiling below the shower. And, now the tiles felt boggy when stepped on. Called JTAS to replace the shower floor, which they were amenable to do to the tune of $7,000. They also noted that they no longer install showers that way, due to problems that occurred. I agreed but wanted a 5 year warranty. They refused and would only supply the 1 year warranty. We canceled the project. Since then, we've torn out the shower floor to find the damage was much more severe with a significant amount of mold. Also, they did not install a waterproofing layer, which I found concerning. My biggest beef with JTAS is that they don't stand by their work.

They poly jacked it and couldn't quite get it right but it was at least level. That settled in a few months, they came back and did it again and it settled again so I just ignored it. 5 years later our basement flooded so we decided to try level headed mudjackers. Sam is a true professional and I'm really upset we didn't use them the first time! The poly jacking actually caused the patio to seize up and sam couldn't get them to raise. Instead of just leave it he can out, jackhammered 20' of concrete and repoured new slabs and holy crap does it look great. He did this for a VERY reasonable amount more than the original amount and put a ton more work into it to make it right. I couldn't be happier and so glad I found these guys!! Not many contractors care like Sam did, couldn't recommend these guys enough!

In addition, I wanted to get gutters added to the garage since we didn't have them before; the previous homeowners never added them. I had requested bids from about five different companies and wanted to see how everyone compared and what they recommended. James stopped by, and we talked about the various areas I had for immediate concern. I received fast quotes and recommendations on how they would proceed. We ended up using Scott Geboy Remodeling and Roofing and loved the service from start to finish. Everyone was attentive, and the roof work and gutter work were done within the time frames they stated--there were no unexpected surprises. They took care of the chimney flashing, new roof shingles, gutters, and about a dozen or more items on their checklist of operations. Everything was impressive, and doing roof work is no easy task. You spend a lot of money in a very short time, and I felt good about paying Scott and James for all the work they performed with their team on our house and garage. I recommend them to friends, and my family recommended them since they've done work for family members already.
