I asked if there is wiggle room in price and twice was I denied. It took a whole 5min to get done. On top of that, the keys weren't in the car. Turns out I left it in the business. I let them know and they still only wanted to take venmo only no cards. I was working and was on my lunch break running an errand. My $16 grocery run turned into $415. I wasnt in the sticks or anything. I was in the parking lot of a local shopping plaza. It wasn't late night. And it took them 28min to get there. Were they quick and efficient, sure, but the price for exactly the method they used, and total time to get there felt very off balance compared to the quotes I'm definitely getting back on AAA. I'd rather wait and uber myself back somewhere instead of feeling like I was just taken advantage of after the fact.

He then 30 seconds later after accepting price tried to upcharge me by an additional $40. I asked why and he said "the lock is old". Then I was able to negotiate back down. He was unable to open the lock anyway and suggested replacing lock completely and said "this will cost a lot more" and further asked for service fee, which he tried to upcharge from quoted price as well. I then tried to confirm who he works with and he told me he doesn't know the name of the employer because he doesn't speak English well. Did not allow him to break the lock down and replace. Overall had a poor experience and quite uncomfortable, but he did get there quickly within about it 20 min as he promised.

It was late about 2am, I was in a panic, called the 408 number and they said someone will return a call in the SF area in a couple minutes. Yani (who is a lifesaver), then rang me within one minute. I texted him a photo of the lock and he knew right then and there what to do. I personally couldn't use the "credit card method," because the door had a stripping around it and I could not even see the inside of the lock and the situation called for a locksmith at 2am. I was not going to break down the door. Yani, who has been doing this for ten years was very professional, accommodating, and sweet from the beginning. From the phone call til the end of the service, he had the best customer service and I can truly tell he wanted to be helpful. He arrived within 10 minutes after the call.
