Bailey's is moi #1 favorite place to shop in Pensacola…read more When I first purchased moi Surf Shack here in Pensacola I planted several orange, grapefruit, lemon/lime citrus trees etc., all from Bailey's. Moi favorite fruit is Mandarins. I love Mandarins & Bailey's had a miniature one that I purchased in 2023 that I planted in a very large pot. It's doing so fabulous & produced its first harvest of fresh organic Mandarins just in time for our Thanksgiving holiday. The Organic Mandarins from the miniature tree aren't mini at all, they are yuge, super acidic & super juicy tasting. The best Mandarins I have ever had, and I grew them myself. I also made all my own homemade organic fertilizer for them out of kitchen scraps, banana peels & egg shells etc., they are truly delicious. OuiOui :)... All the plants I have purchased from Baileys are doing great, however, the Miniature Mandarin Tree is the show stopper. If you love Mandarins, I highly recommend the Miniature Mandarin Tree. OuiOui. Bailey's has tripled in size since I first started shopping there. Now, there are two more lots with tons of Christmas trees & tons more plants. The produce section has also grown to triple in size & they are now carrying tons more inventory, gourmet goods, culinary utensils & cookware etc., LOVE the specialty items. I'm so excited to see what Bailey's develops with the new additional, outbuildings & extra lots with extra parking. It looks so beautiful as Bailey's has always done a great job with the Nursery & nursery plants. Thank you so much to Bailey's for carrying all the fresh local Florida produce, gourmet goods, local herbs, local foods, "Food forest" landscaping & the most fabulous fruit trees. So unique, fresh, silky, yet with the viscosity that holds it beautifully. The herbal taste, to my positive shock, has a hint of medical taste. Melts so gently, and it's honestly addictive. Packaging: arrived quickly, packaged well from the outside. And on the inside, the seal of the bottle is not just nicely secure, but it's the coolest I've ever seen for honey bottle. Although the regular prices are comparable, I know that I can count on a good sale at Whole Foods every once in a while to stock up on certain items. Not so at Everman. Since I travel a lot when I travel back home to Tampa or Atlanta, I actually leave Roman in my luggage for items from Trader Joe's and Whole Foods because I know I can't get a whole lot of items I love at Everman in Pensacola. Being a former bee keeper who never got far enough to harvest honey, I have a deep respect for the time & effort it takes to yield honey. It's not easy, cheap or quick. And I'm always eager to purchase local honey when possible. This place offers a variety of honey goods too with bee or honey theme so it lends itself to gifts or self splurging. I liked their candles and pottery. Beeswax of course! If you love honey (like I do), stop in. And if you currently don't cook with honey you are missing out!
