I had a craving for fried shrimp last night, but living in Glassboro I figured my options were slim. I sat down with my little folder of takeout menus and went through to see who might offer jumbo fried shrimp. I have ordered from Pronto many times, but I only ever ordered sandwiches, burgers, or pizza. When I saw they were one of the only places that offered jumbo shrimp, I decided to take a chance. I ordered at 6:30 and received an email that it would arrive between 7:45 and 7:55. I was starving, but it was my own fault for ordering late. When the doorbell rang at 6:52, I figured it was a solicitor, calculating that there was no way food was cooked and delivered in 20 minutes. I was shocked to see that not only was the food delivered so quickly, everything in our order was correct AND perfect. I was super impressed with the fried shrimp, considering it wasn't from a restaurant specializing in seafood. Don't waste your time! Their customer service is horrible. It took over 45 minutes for my pizza that they told me to pick up in 25 minutes. They were not busy & had no pizzas in their oven at all! I watched them make a pizza that looked like my order & asked her if that was mine....she opened all of the oven doors and sure enough that was my pizza they hadn't even started yet! They were not apologetic and could have cared less. This is NOT the 1st time this has happened! It's my first time there and I must say there have a awesome slice I got two slices and omg it's a nice size for the slice and for the price it's worth it, some places charge you a lot for a small slice but this place was great and the taste of the slice OMG!! Called in a large cheese pizza (well done) for delivery on Saturday night. Asked for the driver to call when he arrived, he did not. Pizza arrived and was hot not ruin the cheese hot but perfectly hot. However, the pizza overall all was just okay. Cheese was just okay, sauce was just okay and the crust was kinda doughy. I waited almost 2 hours for my delivery even though the order said it would be delivered in just over 1 hour. I was not too worried about this because it had snowed earlier & Im sure they were busier today. However when I called to check they told me it was on the way. A short while later they called me back to say it had been delivered and left at my door even though I did not request contactless delivery. I order from here almost once a week & they have never just left my food at the door. They stated they knocked (rather than ring the bell?) but I never heard anyone knock nor did I see anyone stopped outside my house. I was looking considering I was waiting so long for it to arrive. Finally, why would they leave my food outside without my request after a snow storm? To get cold? So we searched my house & the neighbors & there is no sign of this food. I'm not sure where this person delivered my order but it certainly wasn't to me & I doubt it was on my block. It's quite lame, won't be ordering from them again. Solid Italian and pizza in Washington twp, which is totally overwhelmed with Italian and pizza already. I hadn't been here in years and tried it off a recommendation from a friend after she mentioned it's her go-to lunch spot. I had a chick cheese steak salad and husband the fettuccini Alfredo with chicken. My salad was great! Everything was super fresh in the salad. Soggy salads this was not. And my husband loved the pasta. Said pasta was made well and the taste was great. Both came with bread. I'm GF but husband said his glutinous bread was great. I used to like this place until the delivery driver (older male with an accent) came to deliver my cheesesteak and demanded a tip from me. He wouldn't leave until I gave him a tip because he "has children to feed". That was a terrible/scary experience for me because I am underage and I was home alone. I was about to call the cops on him, but I decided to give him the tip and he finally left. In addition to that, my food smelled strongly of cigarette smoke. Their food, portions and prices are amazing! This is my go to place when I don't feel like cooking after work! I think we've tried a bit of everything there... pizza, wraps, seafood dinners, chicken... The dark side of the moon cake is to die for!!! We just got delivery tonight & didn't notice that the cake was missing. My husband had opened the bag and figured I didn't order it . About a half hour later, the driver is back with the cake! I have ordered from Pronto's on numerous times and the food was always good, nice size portions and hefty sandwiches but this last time there was a noticeable downsizing in both the amount of fries and the sandwiches. Hardly any meat in the sandwich. In a time (Covid-19) when you would think they would cater a little more to their customers (let's face it, we're doing them a favor by ordering out), they downsized everything. This was the most awful food I think I've ever had . I got a shrimp wrap it had 1 piece of shrimp that was grey chopped into 4 little pieces . We order delivery from Pronto occasionally and have always been happy with everything. The girls who answer the phone are always friendly and delivery is always pretty fast. I just started using pronto for delivery and have had 2 bad experiences .delivery man I.e. boy dropped off at my location the total was $13. And change I gave the delivery person a $20. Instead of giving me my change he asked me if I wanted $6 or seven dollars back ( not very professional ). I had his tip in my hand but felt he should have just given me my correct change and let me decide the tip . This is the second time this has happened .not good business practice . Finally a decent pepperoni pizza! This is our new favorite pizza place because the sauce, crust, and cheese are excellent. One of my daughters will only eat white pizza because she didn't like the taste of red pizzas... but she LOVES Pronto's! Avoid the Mexican pizza though, because they do not remove the seeds from the jalapenos. This makes the spice way too hot to taste the other flavors. read more

They advertised Best Wings on their menu so I ordered them. They were some of the worst I ever had. You know the kind; breaded and soft and mushy. Cheese steak was below par as well. But if you are going to advertise "Best Wings" and they are terrible, then I have to review you. If you want great wings in the area try Otts or House of Brews. read more

Finally, after moving to the South Jersey area about 2+ years ago my wife and I tried a pizzeria named Pronto Pizza. After trying 7 or 8 pizza places in my area we finally found a place that has not only eatable pizza but excellent pizza! I was so happy about finding great pizza that was in delivery distance of my house I called the pizza place back and thanked them. Things were fine until the delivery person rang the bell. He stated our bill was 6 dollars more than what we were quoted when we had placed our order. After college I briefly was a delivery man myself working for a reputable store so I paid cash and said I was sure it would be handled over the phone. After calling back I was told that the man that took our order was new and had quoted me the wrong figure. I asked to speak with the manager and the girl on the phone only shouted out to him and obviously we have no resolution. I told her that I would post my dissatisfaction on yelp but it was of no concern. To be fair, their product was very good but they earned anonymity on what we had because they charged me more than was quoted. This place is by far the worst restaurant in Washington Township. They have the worst customer service! They made me wait almost an hour for pizza when I called ahead and ordered takeout. They got my order wrong and were very argumentative when I complained about the wait and then later after going home and discovering my food was wrong! What happened to the customer service? We frequently order from here .. The inconsistent people that take ur order here is aggravating !! just today called to order a pizza with wings. And additional order of 24 wings and the person who answered the phone was nasty to start . We wanted a pizza and 12 mild wings .. Then 24 wings 12 being hot and 12 extra hot which the me I states clearly .. She tells me that she doesn't know what I am talking about so I just placed the order . I get the menu bring it there and show the nasty bitch that the menu clearly states extra hot .. She asks the guys in the back and they state yes they have it . Then the nasty bitch wants to charge me separate for 12 and 12 wings which would have been and extra couple of dollars !! This place is an absolute joke. I ordered one night last week, 1 pizza, and a salad. Hour and a half later it arrived. This place is 15 min max from my house. I had people over the next night figured I'd give it another try since the delivery drive told me "I'm sorry I got lost. It will only happen this one time no I know where it's at". Call the next night, order 2 Sicilian pizzas. Hour and 45 min later it finally arrived. It was cold, so cold the cheese was hardening up. It was completely burnt too. My wife called, they said no manager was available call on Monday. Finally Tuesday my wife got in touch with a manager, who proceeded to be ignorant and say to my wife "well you should've let the person know to tell the chef to not cook the pizza so long, people like it burnt. And you ordered Sunday what do you even want me to do for you now that it's Tuesday." I my self like a little bit of burnt pizza, but not to the point where it feels like I'm chewing rocks.
