A good manicurist, like a good bartender, is someone you can talk to it's not all about the mani or pedi (even though, they are meticulously done) I enjoy the entire experience. I've been to salons where you walk in and you become part of an assembly line, customers are on their phones and nobody talks- that's not for me. Nirvana Nails is more like Cheers - where everybody knows your name. I like the friendly, social atmosphere this salon offers. However, in the process, the nail tech damaged the cuticle of three nails. It really hurt at the time and after I told her that she was more careful. Two days later though they're still very irritated and red. If you go here, please do not let them cut your cuticles. She didn't ask before she started cutting, so make sure to tell them in advance if you only want your cuticles pushed back (which I'd highly recommend).
