Two of my close friends had a housewarming party earlier this weekend and they both are big old fashioned drinkers. I ended up picking up some stainless steel dice shaped whiskey stones and a Oaxacan old fashioned cocktail mix to complement their bar cart which they ended up loving. Whether you have a specific type of item in mind or just want to browse, Manready Mercantile has a huge variety of items that you won't find anywhere else. Aside from their unique items, Manready Mercantile really goes above and beyond to help create an experience that connects the customer with their products. They have a custom hat bar with a variety of patches that can be prepared just to your liking and a candle bar where guests are treated to an old fashioned while making their very own candle to take home. While I haven't done it myself, this seems like a great idea to do with a date, some girlfriends, or even your mom or dad. They also do a great job keeping up with their website if you want to order from the comfort of your couch or get a little preview of current inventory before heading into the store. We even tried combinations and got great feedback from Bailey about what typically works well and what a lot of people enjoy using. Manready uses 100% soy wax. Gentlemen, definitely take your lady here! You can have a drink and go home with a souvenir that will make her think of you every time she lights it. Mason & Sons/Anthony Sinclair is based out of London, and this is their only other location other than a small set up in Miami. They have outfitted many celebrities over the years, but one of their main claims to fame is that they outfitted Sean Connery for every suit he wore in the James Bond films. The Bond legacy can be seen in tasteful prints and accent pieces throughout the boutique This location can easily be missed as it is actually a converted home in a residential area. Ryan and his wife live on the property, but the front room and fitting room have been converted into a shop/fitting area As you walk in everything has its place and is tastefully put together. You will see garments, suits, accessories, but it's not packed with items. The entire layout feels classic, timeless, and is altogether appealing You can either take an existing piece article, get fitted for it, and modify it. Or you can work with Ryan to customize your own vision. Everything from buttons the pleats (or not), tapering, texture, color, colors, and everything to fit your piece exactly the way you like You will go in for a consultation, get fitted, have follow-ups etc. They walk you through the entire process in a way that's easy to digest. They do a great job of taking notes, communicating when your items are it, and scheduling you future visits. When all was said and done they pressed everything for us and it was incredibly painless... it was actually a lovely experience Now, this suit dresser/shop fitted Sean Connery, Michael Caine, Steve McQueen, etc... it's not a budget shop. You will get quality items and quality service, but it won't be entirely inexpensive. But it will be what you want and it will last Lastly, I will say that Ryan was an absolute pleasure. He was professional, dapper, and an incredible help. I never felt like he wasn't paying attention, or that he didn't understand the vision. He was on top of everything and he made the experience. I will also say that he was incredibly kind and easy to talk to during the downtime or while the groom was busy trying on garments in the fitting room Some tips: You will need to contact them directly to make a reservation. You will be the entire focus during your allotted time. No one else (strangers) distracting or busy shop attendants. This is your time to pursue, pick an item, try it on or something similar and schedule follow-ups Take time to look over the styles of every modification. They have books, samples, examples on hand and in catalogs for you to get an idea of what you're looking at. The store is in a cute Heights house. Cool concept but the store itself is small with limited selections to choose from in comparison to the Galleria and Highland Village locations. They did have every size available from the clothing they had to offer and everything is neat and well-organized. The sales associates are extremely friendly and helpful. There are about 3 dressing rooms and one bathroom. It took me a couple of years to justify spending all this money for their clothes but it is definitely worth it!! Their pants really tighten things up and give your body a nice shape but are still stretchy and breathable and soft and just feel so good to wear. Definitely worth the price tag because their clothing lasts for a long time. I really wish this location had more of a selection so I probably won't be visiting here very often. However this location does donate 50% of their proceeds to help fight the cause against human trafficking, kudos to that! Definitely a great reason to make a purchase here!

I have never tried on clothes from Mizzen+Main up to that point and ended up spending over an hour in there! Extremely high quality and breathable material clothes... loved how their trim polos fit and liked that they offer no-tuck dress shirts (especially great for shorter guy.. couldn't be me of course :P ). Their shorts were also comfortable and look great - they have more casual and then more formal offerings. Definitely recommend y'all checking this place out! Note - the clothes here ain't cheap, but if you can afford it seems totally worth it for the quality and what I would think is good durability.

There are many different styles and colors to choose from. I had a little bit of difficulty shopping online, so it was nice to be able to go into the store and actually touch and feel some of the products. I actually found this location as a happy accident as I was walking by on my way to another store. They have several different textures that they use for their shirts, including a more hot-weather-friendly one for spring and summer that I ended up buying. Overall, they have a lot of really fun prints and there's definitely something there for everyone. The store attendant, Jonny, was incredibly kind and helpful in assisting me to find what I was looking for. He was able to answer all of my questions and make suggestions that ended up helping me with my purchase. Highly recommend.
