Recently, I had them come out because I suspected termites in one of our rafter tails. To their credit, they correctly identified that specific spot as just fungus and didn't try to oversell me on treatments I didn't need. However, their inspection was incredibly brief. They spent only a few minutes scanning the house, didn't check the attic at all, and gave us the all-clear. A couple of days later, I had a second company come out for another look. They spent almost an hour doing a thorough inspection and found a severe termite infestation in a different rafter tail that was almost entirely hollowed out. They spotted the signs right through the paint. Green Flash completely missed this. On top of the missed inspection, the wood rot repairs Green Flash did for us 5 years ago (costing about $1,200) have both failed and need to be redone. They spliced a rafter tail that is now loose, and it turns out they miscut a replacement barge board on the back of the house. To cover up the bad cut, they glued a scrap piece of wood over it, which has since detached and is currently hanging off the board. Bottom line: They failed to do a thorough termite inspection, and their carpentry work doesn't hold up. I highly recommend getting a second opinion on their inspections and hiring a dedicated specialist for any actual wood repairs.

He started with the interior, treating all the spots I was noticing ants coming in from, and then proceeded to treat the exterior. It's been a few days and I've only seen 2 ants so far (compared to the hundred of ants that were creeping in before) so I'm very pleased with the service so far. The part that earned this review came after the warranty had already expired. Something was digging under my fence toward the vegetable garden, and Wes came out anyway to look. He determined it wasn't a gopher (likely a ground squirrel), told me how to handle it myself, and even sent me links to the DIY traps I'd need. He also gave me solid advice on rodents and other pests around the property. No charge. He could have easily sold me something. He didn't. David was wonderful, communicated when he was on his way, arrived on time, walked through the place, and talked me through what he was going to do. We had removed our dishwasher so he could put poison behind and he laid bait on the dishwasher, which was outside, too. He was thorough and came back for a follow up.
