I also thought it was really cute that local artwork was up for sale! Also, there is plenty of parking nearby.

There were still plenty of baked goods in the display case around 1pm but after a heavy lunch, we wanted something simple but sweet. The chocolate chip cookie was perfect - crispy on the edges, chewy and soft center. And only $1!!! What a steal. They've got local kombucha on tap - we tried the Wake Up Call - which had green tea, Yerba mate & blueberry - super refreshing! We also ordered a pistachio pinwheel but unfortunately, it did not hold up well for the photo (some precious pastry was wasted UGH). But take my word for it, it tasted delicious! They offered my pup a treat and took a photo for their Instagram feed lol. You may still find it if you scroll back far enough. Overall, I found Charleston to not be a dog friendly city and EVO Craft Bakery welcomed us with open arms. Greatly appreciative for the hospitality and delicious treats!

We were the only customers at the time, which I appreciated because it gave us time to review the menu & chat with the gentleman behind the counter without worrying about feeling rushed, etc. The spot is cute, with plenty of parking, seating inside and out, and it gives off a nice, cozy vintage vibe. He gave us time to look at the signature drinks, offered information, let us ask questions, etc. He was very nice! I landed on the Biscoff Bliss and as a fun tidbit - they offer Small, Medium, and Large, but they also have a "bucket" size - which we found intriguing & of course went for the bucket! It's essentially one of those "to-go" soup containers and they make a hole in the lid to fit a large boba tea sized straw. It also had like 5 shots of espresso in it and even at 3pm, I'm down for! That was literally the best coffee I have tried in a long time. It was delicious and there was so much of it that I got to enjoy it for the rest of the afternoon! As a side note, the 2nd time I went, I ordered the same thing & another barista made it. It was good, but not as good as the first one I had. The prices are great and I love supporting a small business over a chain. So you should definitely pay a visit to The Bean Counter!

He just opened a little coffee spot in the performing arts center, and he also has a spot outside of the Celadon Warehouse in Noisette which is where I found him. I tried to give it a chance, but the taste matched the smell and I just couldn't finish it. For $7, it was disappointing, and I ended up throwing it away. I had already left by the time I realized how bad it was, so I didn't get the chance to ask for a replacement, but based on that experience, I'd probably skip the pastries in the future. There has always been a line when I go around 9am, but service is still friendly and the food come out pretty quickly. During the times I made it earlier in the morning, there was less of a line (or no line). Dog friendly on the front and back patios. Lots of wine and local products for sale. I wish I had an Odd Duck Market near me, but I'll just have to make do with visiting when I'm in the North Charleston area!

I really wanted a place that roasts their own beans, and of course, I couldn't resist getting a scone while I was there. While I was visiting, a mother and her young daughter (probably around seven or eight) came in, and the daughter was so curious about how the coffee was made. It was really nice to see the staff take the time to walk them through everything--explaining the photos on the wall, the different types of beans, how they're grown, and where they source them from. It created such a warm and welcoming atmosphere. Experiences like that really stand out, and it's clear they care about both their craft and their customers. I'll definitely be going back again.
