    Sweet potato and orange latte

Oh my goodness! This sweet potato latte is so good! You need to try it! Cute space and the owners that I got to meet are super nice and fun to pick their brain on all things coffee!

Top notch coffee spot hidden inside a strip mall. The beans and espresso here are high quality. The latte I got was smooth with the perfect touch of sweetness and nuttiness from the milk and beans. The iced coffee was also great for those looking for something cold and refreshing. The pastries were delicious. The blueberry muffins was loaded with berries. Loved the almond brown sugar banana bread. As for the ambience - quiet jazz music greets you when you walk in. The interior is inviting and there is seating inside and outside. It's pretty quiet so you could also work from here as well. Worth a stop!

Coffee (iced mocha) and quiche were AMAZING (one of the best quiches I've ever had for sure)! Thank you to the sweet lady behind the counter for recommending!

This is definitely the best space to come to study, work or meet with friends. I hate loud coffee shops and thankfully highfalutin is anything but that. The music is quite and there is enough room for everyone to spread out, especially in the mornings when the weather is nice. The prices are average for a coffee shop and I think they have some of the best tasting teas. The staff have always been very kind and I've never had to wait long for a drink.

Finally got a chance to stop in to our new local coffee spot! It was just what we needed in our neck of the woods! I'm always a sucker for a good quiche and the spinach feta quiche here was incredible! The crust was nice and flaky with bits of feta and loads of spinach. Along with the quiche, I had the iced coffee with a bit of cream! Delightful! We sat outside which is a shared space with the new Odyssey Bottle Shop. Look forward to visiting again and trying some of the other menu items.

Finally got to check out the beans at Highfalutin, stopped in for a mocha latte and an iced tea. Employees working were super friendly. Walking in, the smell was incredible. The menu was unique and had a great selection of options for both drinks and food. I enjoyed "sipping pompously," but can't wait to go back and try some food on their cute patio!

I wasn't thrilled about my cortado. It tasted funny not even close. The blueberry muffins was ok.

This place should not sell chai lattes. The ambiance was cute but the chai tasted like rotten milk. I took two sips and threw the rest away.

Iced coffee was refreshing I came back the next morning for another round. It was flavorful yet not sugary. It definitely gave me a kick and got addicted to it, except I'm only in the area for 4 days. Staff and manager were friendly yet professional. Although I was charged twice, the manager assured me they would fix it once the line was manageable. Somehow I trusted her word for it, just the manner with which she handled it was text book! Indeed, saw the overcharged taken care of by the next day. A must stop in downtown historic Charleston for sure! Great awesome pastries, sandwiches Parisian style made and clean refreshing breakfast beverages. This is the best patisserie option which actually lives up to its name, unlike those wannabe k ones!!!

Spent a lovely Sunday morning here! Despite the long line,…read morethe staff moved quickly and with a positive attitude to take orders and prepare coffees and food. The pastry case was full and beautiful with savory and sweet options. There's a fair amount of indoor seating and a few outdoor tables. I ordered a hazelnut latte which was bold and delicious. Despite saying I was dining in, it was served in a to go cup - I do wish I received it in a cup/mug. I also tried the almond croissant which was flaky and not overly sweet. The croque monsieur was indulgent and cheesy - although, I wish it was slightly hotter when served. The portion of everything matched the price.

Luckily, we were able to be seated immediately but it was very close quarters with surrounding tables. The menu is vast with different dessert options. If you want to know what cakes are available, you should check out the display stand right when you enter. Since we were there 2.5 hours before closing, there didn't seem to be a lot of cake options available, but my husband and I decided to share a slice of the s'mores cake with a scoop of vanilla bean ice cream to make it à la mode. The s'mores cake was a chocolate cake with mini marshmallows, chocolate fudge, graham crackers, and more marshmallows. The cake was good and had everything I could ever want in it, but it was a little dry. I think this also had to do with it being the end of the night. The ice cream complemented the flavor well. It would have been better with a second scoop of ice cream though. Service was great! It took about 10 minutes from when we ordered to get our dessert. I would probably come back here again, but not so late at night so there would be fresher cake with more options available.

We waited about 5 to 10 minutes to be acknowledged while two employees stood nearby. The two layer chocolate caramel pecan cake, which our waitress initially could not find, was dry and tasted stale. I would not order it again. The Tollhouse pie was a bit better, but the presentation and the whipped cream were the standouts, and the whipped cream wasn't even homemade! That's the best thing I could say about our experience. The food, pricing, service, and ambiance all fell below average. When you are located downtown with so many great dessert options around, you really need to step up your game. We will not be returning.
