I cannot say enough about what a great service this company provided to us. No need to look elsewhere. Angel walked me through the process on the phone - no rush, she was willing to answer any and all questions and gave me some great suggestions on how to make my work easier when pulling together the documents for shredding. Gave me quotes on all the different options, etc. At the end of our conversation, she explained what to look for when contacting other companies. One thing she mentioned was to look out for hidden fees (Proshred is totally upfront with ALL fees). I had previously seen a bad review on another company about hidden fees so that rang a bell for me. After our conversation, Angel sent me an email with everything in writing and every time I emailed her with another question, she got back to me almost immediately. I looked no further and scheduled them to come to my site. Day of: apparently someone called in sick so Mike, the OWNER, showed up to make sure the job got done. Wow, don't see that all the time. Nicest guy - very professional. He was done with our 47 boxes in less than an hour. The price was WAY cheaper than if we'd had to take boxes to a site to be shredded. Based on price per box on other shredding websites, I estimate we saved about $700! And that is if we had taken all 47 boxes to the shredder!!! Bottom line - give Angel a call. read more

The Proshred mobile shredding truck arrived and Paul emptied my bags containing documents into the bin. Paul was super fast and seeing his bright shiny smile made my day even nicer. Although the new company that took over seems not to get acquainted and settled in with customers from Proshred as of yet. They were great and very accommodating. The latest time to bring your papers to them is 3 pm, but after calling them and letting them know I would be 15 minutes late, they said no problem. The key thing to know that I didn't see in the brochure or on the web page is that they do not take credit cards. They only take cash. read more

How can a shredding company get 5 stars? When they are as efficient, affordable and responsive as Proshred. I've moved to Montana and am getting the California house ready for sale, and there was a significant amount of sensitive documents that needed shredding. Not a ton, but about one of the 96 gallon containers I sent an email last week to get pricing and instructions on how to drop off the documents and received a quick and complete response. I swung by today and the lady at the office was very nice, told me where to go to drop the material off (behind the office) and helped me unload into the container. Called Proshred for a one-time pick-up of paperwork for our business that was no longer needed. From the person who took the order to the driver who picked up the paperwork to be shredded it was the best experience I've had for a long time. I was able to schedule the pick-up in the timeframe I needed, the driver showed up at the time promised, I received a certificate confirming our documents had been destroyed, and the best part was the price! I picked ProShred for a curbside shredding of docs that had to be disposed of securely - with a small office this made more sense than having a bin, and way more convenient than dropoff especially considering traffic/time (the appt took only minutes!) Wow!!! This company is totally on the ball. I am the office manager for a retiring physician and we had tons of records to be destroyed. I called at 10:00 am and Bob came at 12:00 that same day! He brought in a second bin as we miscalculated the amount of shredding we had. He was fast, personable and professional. The service fee was very reasonable as well. This company is excellent! I run a law office and need reliable shredding services, and Proshred has never failed. They show up when they say they will, they are in and out quickly, and the drivers are friendly. Even during the pandemic they continue to be reliable. I also haven't had any issues with billing - it's always the same price, no hidden fees, and billed bi-monthly. I switched to them after having Iron Mountain for years and stressing over drivers not showing up, being overcharged, getting surprised fuel and other fees, etc. I had to spend so much time resolving issues with the prior company, and now with ProShred I don't even think about it because the job gets done! read more

We were clearing out old tax documents, bank statements & other similar material cluttering our garage. It's more than will fit in the car at one time so rather than make several trips to a have it shredded, we chose ProShred. The ProShred Security Truck came to our house at the scheduled time. The driver was very friendly and filled a large bin from the truck with several boxes at a time. It's lifted into the truck and you can watch your documents being shredded on a video screen mounted on the side of the truck. The entire process took less than 15 minutes. The driver accepts a credit card for payment. The price was very reasonable and you don't have to worry about account numbers and other information ending up in the wrong hands. read more

Absolutely recommend PROSHRED. The communication and service was top notch -- they made it incredibly easy to schedule a truck to come to my house and the shredding visit itself took less than 10 minutes. PROSHRED has a minimum flat rate for 10 boxes which is very reasonable for the convenience of seeing your papers shredded right in front of you without having to drive somewhere to drop off boxes or sit in front of your personal home shredder for hours at a time. Within an hour of submitting a request for a quote I got a call and email back from PROSHRED and had the service visit scheduled easily for a date/time that worked for me. I called Proshred, last week, to set an appointment to have them shred about 15 boxes of old files. The following week gave me more time to put everything in boxes. I had never had anything shredded before so I was wondering how to get everything to them. Mike explained that I could have a truck come to my home, I was thrilled. They showed up a little early, the gentleman was very friendly and professional, cut open all my boxes, dumped them in a large garbage can, took them out to the truck and put them through a shredded, right infront of me.
