The installer, Drew, arrived on time, was respectful of our home and didn't damage anything. For a half day's work in a small space he had a lot of details to contend with (removal and replacement of quarter round molding, moving the dryer out and back and removing and reinstalling the bifold closet doors. We are pleased with the work and the new floor looks fabulous!

We looked at several available products available at the shop and decided on a clip together tile that the shop would install. The owner stopped in to measure an also offered to cover a limestone step into the addition with the tile. The finished job was not the cheapest product we had seen but the professionalism in the total purchase and installation of the flooring is one of the best values we have acquired in many years. So the Tile Stop is an incredible selection of just about any kind of Tile you can think of, but…read moreman -- customer service is quite low on their priority list. I came in with an obscure color and size of tile from a broken bathroom and they matched it up rather quickly. We ordered what we thought was the right color in the right finish, and it was ordered within minutes, shipped in two days. The only problem was that it differed with the sample that we agreed on. Now I only have a bachelor's degree, and Lord knows I've never worked at a tile shop before, but the man patronized me for having the audacity to try to order the correct tile. On the receipt, Tile Stop had the right number, but had the wrong name, and we probably argued about the stupid $7 worth of tile for about twenty minutes until his coworker came in and said, "Let's try to make the customer happy. He's probably wrong and I'd put money on that, but worse comes to worse he'll have twice as much of the wrong tile." And I reluctantly agreed, but it was too late to call their distributor for the random tile. So they said they'd call the next day. About two weeks later I had assumed they either forgot or didn't want to order it again. So I called The Tile Stop and they, indeed, had no recollection of the reorder... So, I paid twice as much for the right tile and shipping with their distributor (Beaver Glass and Tile) 40+ miles away and guess what? I was correct. Who knew the customer could be even occasionally right? Wouldn't go with them again outside of convenience to match the tile. Incompetence aside, no customer should feel attacked for wanting to get a product. In fact, I would put money on the fact that they still have the wrong style of tile somewhere waiting for someone to pick it up. Maybe I'm an isolated case, but maybe not. Happy hunting!

If he's still working at Dalton Flooring, I would warn you he's a scammer by design, I mean it's his nature to screw you over. In order to fix what he messed up I'd have to move everything out of my home for a week so the floor can be torn up, and everything done properly. He's a real S.O.B. in my eyes! If he'd have put down the vapor barrier all vinyl tiles need, as in the information of the tiles I have, I'd not be so bitter towards him. So just be aware he's not what he tries to be, but he is what he is. Just a total POS.

We purchased and had installed luxury vinyl flooring in our family room and kitchen, and even though we had multiple layers of materials they had to tear up, they finished in record time, flawless job, moved our furniture in and out and cleaned up after themselves throughout the project. However my review is regarding the most outstanding service I received at this store from Jacob and Sebastian. Beginning with their extensive knowledge in helping with making the right selections for my project, to the speedy delivery of my tiles which had to be special ordered, twice, the support and assistance in dealing with the mistakes and delays made by my contractor. Without their genuine concern, and taking the time to understand the scope of the problems we were having, I don't think my fireplace would have been completed at all. Exceptional customer service from the start! Justin was very informative, educated us about the process and gave us an approximate quote based off our measurements right away. I came here because of the reviews and I am glad I did! I've had less than acceptable experiences working with various contractors and I wanted to work with someone who was timely, cost effective, great customer service and good quality. I expressed that to Justin and he was so understanding and assured me they are all those things. He was right! The next day Jorge came to my house to take measurements. He was very polite and knowledgeable about granite and overall experience. They say it takes two weeks from the date they receive the slab order you pick out. That is indeed true. I had a very specific granite vision of what I wanted. I went to a few suppliers and found the one I wanted. However, when it came in, the slab was cracked and MGE did not want me to be disappointed as they genuinely cared about the finished product and quality. We sent it back. Then, Kleopatra called me and offered to come with me to the suppliers to help me look at the granite and inspect it herself. I was so relieved and was blown away with how she went above and beyond to keep me informed of everything and to ensure I chose the granite we would be satisfied with long term. We ended up picking Avalon White from MSI. She inspected it and showed me which part of the slab they would use. I was reassured and so excited! Their prices are competitive and cost effective for their customers. The install team was outstanding. Our home is a historical home built in 1884, so the ground isn't as leveled. They stayed for 6 hours reconfiguring until it was perfect. They wanted to ensure it looked pristine and they do!! We love them and would highly recommend MGE to anyone.
