Happy to have discovered this fish spot on Long Island. Everyone is always recommending somewhere in Brooklyn, NY. But sometimes that is just too far when you need to get your fried fish fix. We ordered for pick up on the Uber Eats app. When we arrived everything was piping hot and being bagged for pick-up. I was impressed by the serving size of the fried whiting, shrimp, and fries combo. The meal definitely left me full and some left overs for later. My husband had the fried salmon and fries which he enjoyed as well. It would be cool if they had a "Cajun" seasoning to add some spice. Fantastic seafood trays and their jerk chicken is to die for. I saw an Instagram post about them and decided to order for my Mom's birthday. She was over the moon for seafood. We got the big papi tray which is $50. It comes with 2 Lobster tails, half of each of shrimp and crab legs. These are smothered in. garlic butter sauce over steamed corn, broccoli and potatoes. The whole family loved this and it is such a great quick and easy seafood feast foe when the mood strikes. We order ahead and it's always ready. The only annoying thing is they don't allow you to add to your tray and the other trays are very different. So for example if I wanted to add another lobster tail or two I'd have to get 2 more meal combos. Doesn't make sense. When we just wanted the lobster tails. Regardless this place is a gem. No frills seafood tray and chicken joint. Decor and ambiance is non existent. Place is a bit run down looking but the food tastes great. Workers were friendly and helpful. We got a lb of snow crab legs. It was cooked well and tasted good. Also got a platter with jerk chicken and ribs with rice and peas and a side of macaroni salad. Everything was tasty and fresh. I recently moved to the neighborhood and I always said I had to give this place a try. I had friends over yesterday and we decided to order the #1 and #3 from the steamed specials. This food was sooooo good. This is the first seafood boil that I've ordered that wasn't over cooked or too salty. The shrimps were deveined and perfectly cooked, even the potatoes were good. I usually throw the potatoes away when I order from other restaurants. I'm mostly happy about the food not being salty. I didn't feel sluggish and parched after eating this. Don't waste your money! We got the seafood tray and the seafood was so over cooked.. The lobster was so dry and stuck to the shell that you could barley even get 1 bite out of it. The crab was a little better but still dry and over cooked. The shrimp was fine (hard to mess up shrimp) and the broccoli and potatoes were okay but thats not way we ordered.. we ordered for good seafood. Oh and the corn sucked. We also got the fried chicken and Mac and cheese and I wish I could say that was any better. The chicken had a nice crunch but was dry as well and the Mac and cheese was not the creamy cheesy delicious Mac and cheese I was hoping for.. pretty much tasted like plain pasta with a layer of cheese on top. Been coming here since before they changed the name and always had a good experience. Went today for Mother's Day dinner as I was not cooking nothing lol. I ordered a shrimp dish also that I didn't want and called the day before to replace with jerk chicken. Well I received the shrimp dish which I cancelled. The titanic had hardly any shrimp and less snow crab legs. The corn on the cob was sliced into a 1/4 which gave us two bites to eat it. Mostly the whole tray was broccoil. This must have been a bad night, based on the raving reviews from others, because my experience was horrible. The food looked appetizing enough from the steam table. I ordered fried whiting, and ended up with fish that was tasteless and crumbled like sawdust--meaning it was not fresh and/or frozen for decades. It lay in the pit of my stomach and I am waiting for the activated charcoal to take effect. My sister was equally disappointed with her meal of fried chicken, Mac and cheese, and cabbage.
