The seafood was fresh, flavorful, and definitely the highlight of the experience. The food itself was very good and worth trying if you're a seafood lover. My only issue was the drink policy. The restaurant advertises three drinks per person, but once you hit the 90-minute mark, drinks suddenly become full price. For a meal that's already around $60 per person, it feels unnecessarily restrictive and comes across as nickel-and-diming customers. If you're entitled to three drinks as part of the package, having a strict 90-minute cutoff that turns those drinks into an extra charge leaves a bad impression. Overall, the seafood was excellent, but the drink policy took away from what would have otherwise been a much better dining experience. Update: To their credit, after further discussion, the restaurant ultimately honored the advertised drink promotion. I appreciate that they made it right, but I wish it had been handled without all the additional stress and aggravation. They enjoyed the 'all you can eat' option! I ended up getting wings and fries, it was okay. Thing to note - you can't take food with you. A place where literally East meets South right in Long Island. If you've ever been to the deep south you will definitely get a vibe for the food served here. Now for the seafood boil, we got 3 rounds in garlic butter sauce, non spicy. The crab legs were cooked well, easily removed from the shell. They were fresh and not fishy tasty. The Dungeness crabs were the star, the meat was sweet and had a nice seafood flavor to it. The blue crabs were a hard miss though; they were not fresh and quite fishy. Scallops tasted rubbery and kind of artificial. The baby clams were good as well but some had cracked shells and some did not open. Overall good food though. The scallops with garlic butter sauce had a lot of real garlic, and had about 14 scallops, a potato, and corn on the cob, though the scallops did still have the tendon on a lot of them which is kind of lazy (and something that could easily make the dish way better). The fried shrimp basket come with 8 well seasoned fried shrimp and plain fries I doctored up at home with black pepper. The lobster bisque was bland with 2 penny size or smaller lobster bits. I wouldn't ever get it again. Takeout was easy and they offered a 10% off promo. Pretty good for the price. I'd order the scallops and shrimp again.
