I have been experiencing intermittent shoulder pain for several years now and with a clear xray of the shoulder, decided to have a chiropractor look at it. The pain seems to be positional because it comes and goes. Bryan Hansen is very thorough and professional. Practices Covid-19 mandates. The office is clean and organized. The pain wouldn't go away! I don't recall how it started, but I remember the excruciating pain in my lower back, down my left leg, tingling into my foot. Sciatica, most likely caused by being an accountant, sitting most of the time. I tried everything, until I eventually had a laminectomy. That was Jan 17, 2020. I felt like a whole new person, until 3 days post-surgery, I sneeze or coughed, and pop! The pain was back, not as intense as it previously was, so I lived with it. Constant pain, leveling between 1-6 on a daily basis. I tried to push through the pain, but the constant grunting and groaning I did was driving my husband crazy. He hated to see me in pain, saying no to family bike rides or time at the park. We saw the ProSpinal commercial on TV over a dozen times. I finally called. I cannot say enough good stuff about Dr. Hansen. After two laser treatments and one adjustment the neck pain I had been suffering for years vanished, along with the migraines. I went to this doctor because the tingling in my leg had turned into a burning sensation. After a short visit of him checking my spine, he grabbed my right foot and yanked it so hard it shocked me! I'm sure he didn't read my intake form, or he'd know that I had ankle surgery on that leg 16 months earlier. It caught me off guard, and when I voiced my concern, he also looked a bit shocked! Since then, my knee has cartilage damage! I can't prove it, but in my gut, I KNOW he injured my knee when he yanked so hard on my leg! I do not recommend him. My running days are probably over and I was told I'd have to manage the pain in my knee, that the damage is what it is! Wow. Seriously? Suuuuper nice when he came in. Great demeanor AT FIRST. My back went out. Couldn't walk going in to his office. (Still can't walk now either after) I've had this before and other chiropractors had fixed it in one visit. He asked me what I did for work and my husband what he did. I was honest and told him we're both in our midlife crisis and working very bad jobs right now for an unlivable wage. I'm at my job for the insurance as we've had some health problems. He did a very fast basic adjustment on me. Spent all of 5-10 minutes and stuck a 10s unit on me when I still couldn't stand up. After he finished and I was no better he literally just looked at me with no answers, information, or expression, because ultimately he knew he couldn't get any money out of me. He didn't speak to me about any treatment plan or even inform me of his resources. THEN he proceeded to tell us how we're lucky because we'll never pay more than $34 co-pay with our insurance but that he doesn't get any more and that the treatment he did on me normally costs $350 and all he's gonna get is $34!! What in the actual F!? What a crook! "Treatment"? You literally did practically nothing. I had to ask him if he'd take care credit for the co-pay and charge me $200 and give me a credit for co-pays (anything over $200 is interest free for a year) and then he said "Go ahead but I'll have to pay 15% for that. They charge me 15% so you can get interest free" I asked him why he even takes care credit and Anthem Blue Cross if he's not being fairly compensated. And he said "because of people like you, there's a lot of contracted people like you... " Ooookayyy aaaaand your point is??? You still didn't answer my question dude. The point is. He treats you differently when he realizes he can't sell you. Drs are supposed to be in the business of wellness and helping people and have a responsibility to maintain their integrity of providing their best care worth every patient. I had insurance and paid my co-pay. I did my part. He should have done his. I get it. Insurance companies suck and you're also running a business. But change your formula. Stop taking Blue Cross and Care Credit. Don't take it and then give poor treatment. Such a shame when Drs are more businessmen than healers. But I'm sure between him and Yelp this post will be removed because the savvy businesses pay Yelp to be able to remove bad reviews. read more

I have been treated by Dr. Hansen over the years, as, unlike most GPs, understands the body is an interrelated system, not just a hodgepodge of parts. Whether for a tuneup adjustment or resetting rib heads that i pop out on a regular basis, Dr. B has the know-how and empathy to make your day better. I recently called him for a referral to an ortho due to chronic bursitis in my outside hip. Thought I would finally get the 'cure-worse-than-illness' cortisone shot to ease the pain. A one star is generous. I was seen with an undiagnosed (at that time) muscle strain in my lower back. Without X-Ray or MRI, Mr. Hanson incorrectly diagnosed me with having one leg shorter than the other. He prescribed lifts for one shoe. This review is strictly based on results. I have had two back surgeries in my L5 vertebrae area at 26 years old and back in September 2016 after seeing an ad on TV for ProSpinal I decided to give it a shot. Dr. Hansen is very charismatic and to be honest seems like he really cares for his patients. We sat in his office and reviewed my recent MRIs as well as talked about my past history and what I was trying to accomplish. I was in very severe pain in my lower back and had some shooting pain down my left leg still as well, and I had been told by another specialist that it looked like I was on my way to another back surgery. After talking with Dr. Hansen he did a great job of convincing me that taking on the almost $5000 burden for 20 visits was worth it with the non-surgical treatment.He seems very confident that he could help me out and get me to be pain free. His line was "I am not a pain manager, I am a pain fixer." Which sounds awesome on paper, however, he did not fix my pain. After each session, I would feel a little better for a couple of hours, but the pain would always return without a doubt. I mentioned this each time I went in to his assistant (Cat), and she told me not to worry about it, and that most of the time patients start to see significant improvement over the later sessions. After 23 total sessions (he gave me 2 on the house) I decided to get another MRI as I just wasn't improving. We sat down and looked at the MRI, and after almost $5,000 invested in these treatments, there was no signs of improvement! At this point Dr. Hansen recommended I receive a shot into my lower back as a nerve blocker to help with the pain. This was a "pain management" solution though, and after two months of visiting him, it was determined he couldn't help me. This was very frustrating and sad not only from the financial aspect as I felt like I had wasted quite a bit of money hoping he could follow through on his initial diagnosis that he could "fix my pain", but also just because I felt like Dr. Hansen was the real deal. I totally understand that I might be a rare case with him and most of his patients may see great results, but I did NOT. Nothing against him as a person or his staff, but I would advise all future patients to really consider what they are investing in when they go to ProSpinal. Looking back at it, I wish I would have never invested the time and money into Dr. Hansen. While I wish everyone the best of luck if they choose to go this route, just be very aware of the NO GUARANTEES and the financial investment you will be taking on. Once again this is just my experience and it is completely results based for my situation, and I truly wish I could give this a 5 star rating as that would mean I wouldn't continue to deal with severe back pain on a daily basis. read more

I hesitated to write this because Dr. Hansen seems like a really nice guy and that he really believes in his procedures and getting his patients life back. Because after talking to him, I was convinced I was in the right hands and he would help me live a healthy and pain free lifestyle again. After reading the reviews of Aaron, Alvin & Aaron, my experience was eerily similar and I'm starting to see a pattern. He was extremely well spoken (smooth talker) and confident that I would be pain free and able to golf again, ski again, ride a bike again, basically the disk would become healthy if I committed several thousand dollars and committed to 20+ visits with the decompression therapy. And like the other gentlemen I was convinced due to Dr. Hansen's conviction. Unfortunately, same result as these other gentlemen. A lot of time and close to $4k invested and with very minimal results. Felt good for a little bit after the therapy, but no lasting results, then the pain and discomfort would resume back to normal levels. I also had the same experience with billing. I was promised that my back brace would be covered by insurance and low and behold it wasn't, so another $500 out of pocket. After our final consultation, he tried to convince me to commit to another round of visits and luckily my funds were spent, so no chance. As the other gentlemen said, Dr. Hansen seemed really passionate about his technology he developed and convinced it would solve my disk issues, so I just assumed I was a lost cause until reading these other very similar reviews. It sounds like my exact experience. So, I would end with this...if his approach was so revolutionary and it indeed provided the life changing results that were promised, where is the money back guarantee or other two way commitment between patient and doctor? I can only speak for myself, but a lot of $$ spent and no long term effects unfortunately. I wish I could say otherwise and would be cheering from the parking lot if Dr. Hansen were able to deliver what we discussed...it all sounds so great on paper, nothing more, again at least for me and others apparently :( read more

5/2/2018 I would leave this alone, but every time I see his commercial it makes my skin crawl! Several of my earlier reviews "vanished", one was finally posted, but I really have to look for it to find it(he changed the office name). "Dr." Hansen is strictly a salesman, nothing else! I saw him in 2011, all he did was take over $6000 from me. Kept saying we were getting close and I needed a few more treatments, even threw in a few for "free" to keep me coming. In the end, my back was actually worse than when I started. If he was any good he wouldn't have a commercial running constantly!! Word of mouth would be more business than he could handle. He's only interested in taking your hard earned money and probably laughing all the way to the bank with it. Please, don't fall for his sales pitch like I did. I came to Pro-Spinal with severe sciatica that I had suffered with on and off for 15 years. I was pretty miserable. Dr. Hansen, who clearly cares about his patients, recommended that I do an intensive treatment plan with both spinal decompression and laser therapy. My wife was rear ended and had back and neck issues from the accident. Dr Hansen was recommended by a friend so she goes to see him. They say "don't worry about a thing. We'll handle all the billing with the other driver's insurance and give you top notch treatment." It is Friday October 13, 2017, and I just received an adjustment. I'm going to be as candid as possible. I have met four physicians in the last three years that have been amazing, but only one has changed my life and that is Dr. Hansen. I came here with an open mind, but a broken spirit due to my own medical issues and my husbands. I can tell you that he did everything he could to help my husband and when he saw results were not being obtained as planned he had a heart to heart with my hubs and I...the guy cares about his patients; I PROMISE YOU! I had seen a chiropractor who knew my condition and after setting up an $1800 plan, that he knew wouldnt change my bone structure, he continued to charge me and conduct adjustments with no follow up after my plan, I thought cool I am good to go, no not the case. Dr. Hansen noticed my leg discrepancy right away and now literally stand up straighter, and it cost me my $30 co-pay :0).
