Unfortunately someone had run into my back bumper and it needed some repairs. Although ProTech Body Shop was not initially my first choice (as I live in South Austin), they were absolutely amazing! (Not to mention easy to find!) Not only did you receive an EXCELLENT customer experience from Marwan and his ridiculously adorable wife, they both answered any questions they have and took time to go over everything with me! These guys were excellent. They fixed my car, an Acura at a fraction of the price other places were quoting me. I was having work done from where someone else had hit me and I was previously rear-ended *into* the car in front of me and they refused to accept liability for the front end so I had to pay for that out of pocket. I had them fix this simultaneously and they even painted a mirror for me that was the wrong color. The car looks even better than when I brought it! I cannot believe this place is still open and hasn't been shut down at all. After leaving this place I was totally unsatisfied with their quality of work. The so called finished paint job was more of a mediocre job than what they claim to call themselves "Pro". The only "Pro" thing about this shop is how quick the owner Marwan comes up with excuses and reasons why it's the way it is. At the end of the day I get blamed for their lousy job because I tell them you promised me a certain day only to be late and more excuses as to why the vehicle wasn't ready. When I called the only person that knew what was going on was the owner and he's either always busy or not there. Hmm some way to keep your customers updated and with loads of confidence as to how my property is doing. Above all the way Marwan (owner) handles things like a child and if you were to tell him something that you don't like good luck getting him to fix it. He's a typical stereotypical body shop owner. If you're reading this please be aware of the condition of your vehicle before the repair starts and to hold him accountable if something isn't right. Do not bring your car to this shop. The owner is a crook and if you have to use the geico adjuster that's in house you will be sorry. I had an acccident where I rear ended an Audi on 360 in Austin which was my fault of course. However I paid my deductible and had my car repaired at this shop and within two months the paint on the front bumper was bubbling up in 20 different spots, 20! The owner claims they're rock chips, and will not make it right, the paint work that's done at this shop is shoddy at best, please go somewhere else. read more

Came here to drop my car of for repair after some guy backed into my car - needed a whole new front bumper, re-alignment and some paint work. Dropped it of Wednesday and was told it would be ready Monday (of memorial weekend). Got a call Friday (2 days later) saying it was ready. I wreck my car recently and Marwin (owner) convince me to take my car to his shop. He promised me he will do an excellent job and repair it like it was brand new, everything from body to electrical. Also the work would be under a lifetime warranty. This was not true. He scamed me. After my car was done, the car alarm and autostart would not work. Marwin argrued with me that is was not from factory. I brought the paper work showing it was factory device and he still would not fix it. I never got my warranty paperwork or not even an invoice!!!!! He only wanted CASH only. I have since found other body work errors and one missing part.. I'm very upset and feel I need to warn everyone not to go here. I work contract with all the hospitals and home health agencies and I'm spreading the word. Horrible experience. If you are looking for a body shop that will get your car fixed close to the estimated time frame they quote, answer phone calls, or return messages this in NOT the shop. My car was there for almost five weeks, estimated time frame was two and a half weeks (which would have been March 8th). So when the 10th rolls around and I hadn't heard anything from the shop I start calling, rarely did anyone answer the phone, so I kept calling and left several messages trying to find out what was going on with my car, and what is the new estimated time it might be ready, my rental car insurance coverage ran out after four weeks, I had to pay out of pocket. I have never had such a horrible experience with a business. In five weeks, no one called to apologize, explain what was going on, or return any of my calls. No costumer service, or communication, or consideration for the clients. I only went to this shop because it was recommended by geico. Funniest part is when I couldn't get ahold of anyone to find out when I would get my car, I complained to geico (who has always provided excellent service) and they handed my case to the geico adjuster at ProTech who never answered any of my calls or returned any of my messages. And when I picked up my car, all they said was "sorry it took so long, things happen." I would not ever use this shop again or recommend it to anyone. I finally picked up my car yesterday (March 22nd). read more

This place has amazing customer service! I ran over a curb and my back bumper popped out. I came here and the owner said the bracket needed to be replaced. He ordered the parts right away and said to come back the next day. I came back within 24 hours and they replaced the brackets within an hour. Get ready for his sense of humor and mom and pop feel of the body shop. I loved walking in and feeling like I was being treated as a long-time customer even though it was my first time there (and hopefully I have no need to go back frequently). While Geico's assessment was for Pro Tech to put in labor to fix my bumper, Marwan took care of replacing the bumper for the same cost and went to great lengths to make sure my car was ready for me in time for a work trip and that all my needs were taken care of.
