I was excited to see this place so close to my hotel but was a little hesitant when I saw the reviews. I am so glad I didn't listen to the reviews. I actually ordered ahead of time, and went picked it up. I got the Thai monster bowl, steak and chicken both cooked perfected, it was delicious! And I built my own shake. People in the store was friendly and place looked clean. Overall a great place to get something healthy and get your protein in!!! Loved it! Will be back tomorrow! read more

We came in to get a protein shake and I think their menu and what they offer is pretty impressive. The lady that took our order was extremely nice and helpful. All the food choices on the menu looked pretty good and I was tempted to order some stuff, but I really wasn't hungry. lol. So I think that's a good sign. The shake was delicious. I think it is a bit expensive but when you're getting quality products you're gonna pay for it. If we were ever in this area, I would definitely stop in. read more

Pros: The food here is so good and filling! So happy to have a healthier option that leaves my belly full. The food is consistently great. There is outside and inside eating with plenty of parking. I was very close to giving it a 5. Cons: Sometimes the food takes longer than estimated though so keep that in mind if you are trying a quick pickup. The staff will bring it out as soon as ready though. I will say Nicole's review "half-dressed...girl..very uncomfortable" is true though. There were multiple men in line trying to look anywhere else, but directly at the girl half-dressed. Not sure if she still works there though. Most I staff is super friendly and attentive, but yeah there are a couple odd balls. read more

I'm tied by the bad reviews. Recently visiting for a hockey tournament so dined at protein house several times. Each time I was greeted by a different employee who I found to be friendly, hopeful, and patient. The interior of the restaurant is fairly minimalistic, but was broadcasting the Olympics and had plenty of seating. During the course of the weekend, I had the breakfast sandwich, salmon, burger, air, fried, sweet potatoes, and a Titan wellness shot. The food was delicious and nutritious. Good clean eating. I absolutely loved the Titan wellness shot! I have no doubt we will be returning. read more

I've order takeout by DoorDash from ProteinHouse twice now. What impressed me the most is that the food arrives hot!! I've tried grass fed beef bowls and the breakfast hash. I love the char on the hamburger and the veggies are cooked perfectly. The air fries are sweet potato and could be cooked a bit longer. I wish they offered regular air fries too. I have not been inside the store so I can't comment on the ambiance. It's a fast food place so it's probably typical. Since my food has arrived hot twice I imagine the service is a well oiled machine. I definitely recommend if you want to eat clean on the run. Healthy choices are easy to make here. Protein House has my favorite salad of all time. Who puts peas in a salad? I do--and they make it perfect here! I wanted to like this place, but I will not return. It was obvious that the workers were high school students who did not care to be there. There was no smile, or kindness from the person taking my order, or anyone I interacted with after that. I ordered a protein smoothie to go and was shocked (and appalled) that in addition to the price of the smoothie, and taxes, there was also a credit card fee and a packaging fee.. what the heck is that? Just build it into your price. The location is also right next to the Starbucks drive thru so while parking should have been easy, it was kind of a mess (and annoying) with the back-up from Starbucks. Lastly, the smoothie itself was chalky tasting. If you ever had the Elmer Fudd fudge cookies growing up, that's what this tasted like, but chalky. read more

First time visited at this restaurant, good selection of food, nice ambiance, so I ordered the following lunch items. Wrap: Chicken Caesar Bowls: Cajun BBQ Chicken Very sad to say that we were unhappy with quality of food, in both orders, chicken was overcooked, hard upper layer and Rubbery inside chicken pieces, and we have to throw away chicken pieces from both the dishes. We have been eating higher protein and finally tried this place. So many choices on the menu. We started with an Açaí coconut shake which came out right away and was yummy. For mains had a bbq buffalo wrap (with bison) was amazing. Butternut squash side was healthy. Restaurant was crisp and clean lots of spots to sit. Will come back soon! read more

Hard to recommend a place when you know they are blatantly trying to take advantage of you. 3.75% fee for convenience/credit card usage. Another 3% for paper and plastic? It's not like the place is cheap. $12 for a smoothy. Plenty of better places where you don't have to get screwed. Not a be back for sure. read more

I'll say right off the bat, the food is very good here. However...you will wait for your food longer than it takes you to actually eat or drink it. I've been here several times now on our visits to MA for hockey tournaments and I always leave aggravated. When you walk in, if there isn't already a line moving slowly, half the place will be people standing or sitting around waiting for their orders. It's ridiculous. They have no efficient systems in place whatsoever, never have enough people working and it's just a very frustrating experience. Today, however, was the worst. All I ordered was a Muscle Freak protein shake. It took nearly a half hour before I got it. When I did, I'm not kidding, it was WARM!!!! Disgusting!! So, not only am I that much more hungry, (actually I'm hangry) I now have the shake sitting in a bucket of ice in my hotel room to make it cold. So, I won't be able to Sri k this for another hour. Whoever owns this place should be absolutely ashamed of the level of service at this location. I'm now done with them for good. The place is just a time-suck. read more

Food is pretty good but the service quality has really gone downhill. Maybe it was just this latest order but our Thai monster was completely missing the chicken (just had the steak portion) and our other bowl was supposed to come with riced cauliflower (extra charge) but it came with brown rice. Unfortunately it was a to go order and we didn't notice until we were home. For the price and fees you should definitely have better quality control. read more

Service was fine but I ordered a salad, which was gross, and there is literally no flavor. They charged me $26 for the vegan salad, additional chicken and a juice. I can order all of this at Sweetgreen for half the price with flavor! I'm sure their shakes, juices and breakfast options are better but they need to work on the flavoring for the dressing. Visited for the 1st time and had the Impossible burger with a side of sweet potato fries and a Green Monster juice. Impossible burger patty was burned black and the tiny cup of fries were hot, but soggy. The Green Monster juice was lukewarm, chunky and half seperated when I got it. The employee who rang us up and brought our food lacked basic customer service skills. My bill came to a little over $20. If any of that appeals to you, then you'll love this place. read more

2.5 bland and slow. I wanted to love this place but they don't cook food with any seasoning so it's bland AF. I got the Thai peanut sauce and it is not a peanut sauce at all. It's basically like chalula hot sauce. tastes just tomato based. No peanut whatsoever. Adds an awful taste to the dish so I'm stuck just eating bland food. Also it took me 50 minutes to get my food. I didn't think a fast casual place would be so slow. Also it's expensive for mediocre food. I like that they seemingly cook things fresh but the recipes need work. The concept could be great. I've been meaning to try this place for a while and I finally did a few days ago. The food tasted way better than I was expecting, I ordered the bbq bison wrap and delicious is an understatement for how good it was. It came with a side of sweet potato fries, I'm usually not a fan of those but these tasted good. They also gave me a sweet sriracha sauce which made everything taste 10 times better. It's definitely not fast food because you have to wait a little while for your order so if you are in a rush then I suggest going somewhere else. My only complaint with this restaurant is the prices. I understand fresh healthy food isn't cheap so I can't fault them too much for that but I think my visits to this place will be very few and far in between. read more

They decorated the room themselves, and the food and drinks were delicious, and they were so very attentive the entire evening. They could have rushed us to make room for more patrons on what I'm sure must be a highly sought after night, but we never once felt rushed and they made us feel so special and welcomed! Other patrons, who I suspect were friends of the restaurant, invited us to celebrate and dance with them! We've eaten at The Cellar before and loved it, and tonight just sealed the deal for us. We can't say enough good about this place. Whether you're just going out for a great evening meal or doing something special, be sure to put The Cellsr at the top of your list! Happy New Year!

Important to note that this place is cash only. Lobster and other seafoods are advertised as their specialty both online and within the restaurant. I never had a lobster roll before, and unfortunately, this place made me think lobster rolls were mediocre and overrated (and then I had my life changed by lobster rolls from other places). FOOD: Lobster Roll (6 oz.) (2.75/5) - I opted for mine to be served warm with butter. It came with a side of slaw and very generous portion of onion rings and fries. The lobster roll itself was lukewarm and the melted butter came on the side in a small plastic cup. (I was expecting for the butter to be more incorporated.) The lobster sat on a small bed of cut lettuce. The lettuce wasn't of the freshest quality as some pieces tasted strangely bitter. The lobster was a tad rubbery, and everything was overall bland to me. I found myself reaching for the salt shaker more than would have wanted to. SERVICE: I believe a new hire was getting trained during my visit, so it was a bit clumsy. However, I found it rather charming. They are all very warm people, and you can tell that this is a family owned establishment, which is why I really wanted to like this place. People compare this to Applebee's or the 99, but i think it's much better. Service was friendly but they seemed very short handed. There are sooo many take out orders that the staff seemed to need more people to get them done. Our waitress was all over the place running from table to kitchen, but she was awesome. Ordered the chicken fingers and for $20 I think it was a good deal. I took some home because I couldn't finish. I saw another table with a chicken sandwich and want to get the next time.
