Yes, I'm a breakfast snob. Not only from the food but the vibe and I searched and searched for a breakfast place in this area that didn't have an antiseptic look to it. CAC is the place I decided on and we couldn't have been happier when we arrived. No seats but the bar was open so the three of us opted there. Glad we did. From the pancakes to the corned beef hash to the scrambled done right we were satisfied. I asked for some specifics on my order (pancakes) with no cinnamon and no powder with butter and syrup on the side and they remembered!!! All was great and we'll return!! read more

We stopped in again for a very late breakfast at 12:30pm this weekend. It was unusually quiet due to some light snow, but mainly because the owners just returned from vacation. They customized their veggie omlette for me with no cheese and just onions, tomatoes & mushrooms. I added on a side of red salsa & their homemade mild one, which was delicious! This place doesn't look like much, easy to drive by because there is no big sign or decoration outside the restaurant but you'd be missing out if you did not go in! There are the typical eggs, sausage, ham breakfast choices along with their Mexican/Central American breakfast choices. I highly recommend #27 their best seller Mexican ranchero which is beef and a fried egg your way, layered between two soft tortilla and topped with sour cream plus seasoned potato sides. Every bit was absolutely delicious and full of flavor. You can really taste the distinct layers of flavors of the seasoned beef, egg and potatoes. Portions were generous and free refill on coffee. There was also fresh mix of fruits such as watermelon, cantaloup, pineapple, grapes along with a sweet pound cake. The cake doesn't look like much but it is sweet and nice. The place does fill up quickly around 11am so I'd go early. Service was great! Price was competitive but slightly cheaper compared to American brunch restaurants in the area. Service was great! In town visiting family, and went to this place cause it was open. Restaurant hours here are weird, nothing opens before 9. This place is small, but awesome! I rarely eat till it's gone but i did today, I had the veggie omelette and it was great! The hash browns are a tad spicy but awesome! Owner was very kind, gives kids a candy before they leave. Lots of locals, and he speaks Spanish to a lot of them....I love the diversity!! I hope to go back before i leave. read more

Breakfast here was solid if unremarkable. 1) "Spicy" Mexican omelet was a big omelet with peppers, tomatoes and cheese. I got one jalapeño slice towards the end of the omelet. Strange, runny guacamole, salsa and sour cream came on the side. 2) Home fries were okay. 3) Corned beef hash was from a can. 4) No pumpernickel or sourdough toast available, only white, wheat or raisin. Visiting family in Hudson this weekend and ate breakfast here on Sunday. Food was amazing. Everyone enjoyed what they ordered some of the dishes we had were loaded pancakes with lots of fruit Breakfast burrito. Corned beef hash was perfectly crispy. Home fries were well seasoned bacon nice and crispy. Coffee was excellent in flavor and heat. The table got a plate of fresh fruit to nibble on while we waited for our breakfast. Staff was friendly and efficient. Bonus in my opinion was there was no loud music and everyone in the place kept their conversation at their own table! Definitely will be going back when in town. My family and I came here for breakfast today and I am so excited about this place I'm writing the review while sitting here with a full belly! The service is amazing first and foremost. It appears to be a husband, wife, and son running the place and they each are some of the most pleasant and enjoyable people I've come across in the area. Such warm, grounding, and happy energy! They were so accommodating of us and our three children, making them smile and happy to have us! On top of it all, the food was so amazing I nearly forgot to breathe while shoveling it into my mouth! Ha! Very authentic Central American cuisine. The menu is very basic but they happily explain the items. We had #27 which is a must-have. It includes soft corn tortillas with eggs, steak, and special sauce sort of stacked all together. ORDER IT. Trust me. We also had the Mexican omelette which was delightfully fresh and spicy with fresh jalapeños. We also had a chorizo breakfast burrito which was huge and of course delicious. I haven't had such an amazing meal in awhile. The coffee is amazing too! We loved it so much we considered staying in town another day just to eat breakfast here again. My husband & I went to breakfast Sunday morning and were so impressed that we have decided to make it a monthly destination. The chef/owner and waitstaff were very friendly and attentive. The food was wonderful! My husband had the enchilada with beef (and brought half home); I had scrambled eggs, hash brown potatoes & English muffin. The coffee was the best we've had in a long time. Was passing through Hudson Sunday morning and we stopped in for breakfast after seeing the high marks on Yelp. The food is just amazing! Turns out I ordered one of the more popular dishes (the #27 Ranchero). So delicious! Loved the hot sauce they offer. I was warned it would be spicy and it certainly was! You could tell by the staffs interactions with customers that they get a lot of repeat business. A great family atmosphere here. The only slight minus is the decor and furnishings which are a bit dated. Didn't bother me too much. Keep up the great work! read more
