Slow to make a appt and the doctors rarely can figure out a diagnoses. Dr. Whetstone is the worst!

You have to fill up some information online, but then when I saw them, from the front desk to the doctor/np/rn they had not read anything and was asking me about everything I had already answered online. Why did they bother with that form? The front desk was friendly, but dr.king was condescending af. He made it seem like I was looking for pain meds or something, if he had read my notes, he wouldn't have had to worry because all I need is paperwork. Fml. Most importantly, I asked if they were in network with my insurance and they said yes., but then I got a $150 bill in the mail from them for a piece of paper that said what I already know. I've never had to pay anywhere near that much whenever I go to an in network urgent care so I don't think they accept Aetna. Will die first before I return here.

Even though personally my wound is looking smaller and even my abscess measured smaller even lady Cydney said it looked better and my mom said it looked better. Then he says we've been treating the wound for awhile and it will just get worse and that there wouldn't be much they could help me. Doctor Huang just said compression the wrapping last weeks but that is not even true. Like he is being critical, doesn't give me much hope on healing wound and doesn't take into account diabetic slows healing not just fluid from lymphedema. I liked the other doctor who saw me Davut Savaser he was nice wish I could instead I miss Kayla she was so bubbly and happy nurse. I don't like the lymphedema lady either always nip picky on stuff. Plus they give me lidocaine before but then Debridement and make the wound hurt all over again then what's the point of the lidocaine? And none after the Debridement. Then Dr. Huang just says sorry like that's it and rushes thru the appointment. I don't think they listen to my concerns. Wound Care give me laughing lot of anxiety.

"Life is what happens to you when you're busy making other plans." - John Lennon…read more That thing that was bothering me on the bottom of my foot for so long went from bothersome to all consuming when the Podiatrist looked me in the eye said "cancer". In a whirlwind week and a half or so I went from happily bee-bopping through life to being a passenger on Mr. Toad's Wild Ride, careening from Doctor to Surgeon to hospital and eventually home with a gaping hole that used to be where my heal was and a massive case of depression. How could that big of a hole in me get healed? My Oncology case worker told us about Legacy Wound Care and set us up an appointment. They were on the phone to me immediately and got me in within a few days to meet Debra, an RN who specializes in wounds like mine. I was used to Doctor's and nurses unwrapping my bandages and watching their eyes get huge when they see my surgical area. Debra just sort of shrugged and said that she could get that closed. For the first time in a long time I felt some hope and felt the weight lift off my shoulders a little. Within a appointment or two I was fitted with a Wound Vac, which is just like it sounds, a vacuum that allows the wound to heal in a negative pressure environment and also suck any fluids out into a tank. It is my constant companion, it's on me 24/7 except for appointments twice a week to change the dressings and tank. Hopefully it will be done filling in the hole by the middle to end of April. Cancer sucks, believe me, but sometimes these things that interrupt our ideal life bring people into your life we would not normally meet and in this case Debra is that person. How I could not really enjoy the discomfort these visits bring but look forward to them anyway is a tribute to everyone here from the front desk on back. If your ideal life takes a sudden detour under a Surgeons knife and you need healing this is your place to come get better.

The same day scheduling is crazy convenient, and in general, the website, scheduling, and check in process is super easy. I wish they had the app available for Android, though. There is a range of medical professionals who work there, from PA-C's to MDs; my visits have been with different NDs, who were smart, attentive, and compassionate. I was very happy with those visits and with their advised care. They do charge you upfront with an "estimate" of what your insurance will cover (mine was an extremely low estimate...) but I followed up very quickly after my EOB came in, and was refunded the difference quickly. I didn't want to take the chance of them "forgetting" to do that. After my insurance was on file, it was an easy payment process during my next visit. While I have had a good experience and do appreciate the convenience, the business model still creeps me out and I hope that high-level management encourages practitioners to focus on sound clinical sessions over efficiency in-and-out drive thru care. And also that the money is going to the employees who deserve it rather than some fat cat CEO.

Months after the appointment, they still hadn't processed my insurance, but wanted to charge me the full price. After contacting support, they told me that my insurance rejected the claim, despite their sure listing it as covered. At the same time, my record also shows an unauthorized payment from my card, without an associated receipt. Several months later, after calling their support, I'm told that the claim was never actually submitted to my insurance. Instead, they've sent my bill to collections, and claim I will have to dispute it with them. I will never use ZoomCare again, their billing is blatantly fraudulent.
