Nobody expects to take a fall while hiking on vacation but if it happens ZOOM+Care is a great resource. They accept several major insurance companies and offer uninsured rates. Appointments are readily available throughout the day. All of your booking can be done online. In addition to accidental injuries they also provide services that range from Covid testing to wellness visits. They have an on-site lab and are able to prescribe medications. Wow, talk about patient care... I was running late, then there was an accident on 26 (classic), so I was running ~10 minutes late and walked in 9 minutes after my appointment was supposed to start. I tell the guy my name and he says "unfortunately we'll have to reschedule because our late policy only allows us to wait 5 minutes". I can't find this policy ANYWHERE in any confirmation email, on the website, nada. I have been in to see Erin twice before, but Zoom does not allow ANY communication between doctor and patient unless it is within a scheduled appointment. I messaged, many times about concerns with my medications AND this rash going on in my armpits and all the people who messaged back or answered the phone could say is "you have to schedule an appointment". The guy said "this type of appointment requires additional time", which is why they needed the full 30 minutes. As I was talking to the guy, maybe had been standing there for 90 seconds, Erin comes out and calls another patient into the room. So not only was I only PRAYING for a 10 minute conversation after waiting weeks to even get an appointment, but they clearly double booked at my time and treated this as a "first come, first serve" appointment. I'm not asking for extra time because I was late, I'm not asking her to run any tests. All I'm trying to do is get a doctors advice on what I should try next and to refill my prescription. I have been to two of these clinics now, and will not go to any more. They are so focused on cash, that when I went in to get 3 prescription refills, they told me that would be $597 - each would be considered a 'separate visit' at $199 each. All three of these prescriptions were refills I had been taking for multiple years. When I got up to walk out and ask for a refund of the office visit fee, she said she would 'do me a favor' and write the 3 prescriptions this one time, and gave me a 90 day supply of each vs the usual 6 month. What a racket! Go somewhere else - there are plenty of these around that are much better from a customer service perspective! read more

ok, I'm just in shock. I literally went in for a BV test. they said when I went in my copay was only $10. But the lab was $114!!! She said these tests can be up to $400!?!? I'm shooketh to the core, that is despicable. I've been going to Zoomcare for 2 years, everyone has been amazing to work with at all the locations, and everyone was also very very nice and sweet here. They have the best providers I've ever met. But $114-$400 for me to go into the bathroom and swab myself for a phone call tomorrow, is just insane to me. I'm so disappointed in them. honestly it's so weird I feel betrayed, because everything up to this has been like clearly explained and the providers have gone out of their way to help. But, Jesus Christ, my friend just got her's done at providence for $20. they said it's because my deductible, but I'd have gone anywhere else for this test if I'd known I wouldn be able to pay my phone bill because of a swab. I'm so so so disappointed in them for this. It feels like a slight against women to charge them over $100 for something you HAVE to see a dr for. There's no over the counter stuff for this, you have to go in. Charging that much and not telling ppl up front, is so fucked. read more

It will cost you MORE if you THINK you have insurance here than if you walk in off the street with no coverage at all. My wife, my daughter and I are ALL insured, and thought were were covered when we joyfully visited our local Zoom clinic to get a flu shot this year. EACH OF US were charged $150 after-the-fact. $450 dollars, for shots that were literally offered free with our coverage less than a quarter mile away. OF COURSE we would have walked over there to save the money. Zoom+ is scam. I fully expect a class action lawsuit over their false pricing of flu vaccines specifically. This review spans visits at both the NW clinic and the NE Super clinic I've been a fan of Zoom Care because of its efficiency & straightforward cost breakdown for those without insurance. My last few visits, I've had insurance, and I have been astounded by Zoom Care's unethical and in instances, fraudulent billing practices. Exhibit A: I saw a Zoom Care provider for a medication refill and a TB test, I'm able to see my cost estimates from my insurance portal. I was taken by surprise when I was charged over a hundred dollars more than I expected by zoom. I paid, knowing that their formal policy is that the patient has to pay what they are quoted, and if insurance reimburses differently, zoom will refund the patient. I followed up with zoom several times, and it took multiple emails and phone calls to get reimbursed for this visit, even after showing my claims and explanation of benefits from my insurance company. Finally, after threatening litigation, I got a refund for this visit. The experience was infuriating and financially damaging (I had to pay credit card interest while waiting on zoom to refund.) Zoom kept telling me that they were waiting on my insurance, but I already had written confirmation that my insurance had paid Zoom. Exhibit B: Around the same time, I had an urgent care visit. The documentation on my Zoom portal shows that I owed $399 for the visit, though that didn't align with my insurance benefits. Despite my paperwork saying I owed $399, zoom charged me $435. On top of this, my insurance paid Zoom $320 and indicated that my contribution should have only been $236 based on my benefits. So... as things stand, Zoom is holding onto several hundred dollars of overpayment. In the United States, when a provider charges a patient full-price and accepts reimbursement from insurance, it is considered insurance fraud. I have may numerous attempts to get this rectified. I shared paperwork for both visits with zoom and only one of them was corrected. read more

Per the business rep's comment on my review, I took a chance and emailed their customer service team, although I wasn't particularly optimistic that they'd do anything. I was right. The only response I got (to a bare-bones email that didn't even outline the details of my visit or the source of my dissatisfaction) was a cursory "thanks for letting us know, we'll take it into consideration in the future". They will rush you out the door with one hand as they reach into your pocket with the other. The convenience is not worth it. This must be as efficient and cost-effective as routine healthcare comes these days. I needed a not-to-be named, albeit simple procedure done and, without a PCP, was terrified to unwittingly accrue some $1,000 bill from any hospital or doctor's office. This office has outstanding customer service - friendly, conscientious, expedient. One of the receptionists was being trained through my check-in, and I'm always impressed when this still amounts to professional interaction and attentive service. With the cost clearly laid out, I was scheduled with the doctor within the hour. I was extremely relieved to walk out of this office, in a span of one hour, with my issue resolved and completely paid for. I will continue to look to ZoomCare on 23rd to help resolve my simple healthcare needs without the hectic and daunting complexities of our national system currently carries. read more

Like many reviewers have said, Zoom Care is great for minor problems like a sore throat, but for more serious illnesses, I recommend going somewhere else. Unfortunately, I have learned this first hand over the past few months. At the risk of going all TMI, I stopped in here for a UTI one day, which I have had in the past and are usually a quick fix. A couple weeks later, after multiple visits to different Zoom Cares and TWO different antibiotics, I was feeling no better and frankly, miserable. I finally decided to go to Providence and ask for the antibiotics I have been given in the past (which are more expensive and stronger.) After that I found relief. The weird thing was it seemed like Zoom Care was really reluctant to give me these, and instead opted to have me suffer for weeks on some weaker pills. Anyway, my point is, for an ongoing problem like recurrent UTIs, I would recommend seeing your primary physician and not Zoom Care. Simply because you will most likely see a different physician each time and it's hard for them to get up to date on your past problems and give you adequate health care. Oh and one last thing! I will say that Rebecca, who is the regular doctor at this specific location, is one of the nicest and most caring doctors I've ever met and that is why I usually try to go to this location instead of the others. read more

It's fine for what it is. Great for convenience and easy to get an appointment but be very, very clear when you walk in that you will pay through the teeth for it. The ask for your insurance details almost before asking for your name. Everything is as de-personalized and technical as possible in order to maximize insurance billing. They will try and tell you that your deductible is unused and you have to pay full freight and fight it out with your insurer. This is a business first and patient care second. As long as you know that going in you'll be fine. Also, they prefer to provide meds available from the onsite pharmacy but it's about 4x the rate of going to CVS or Walgreens (or using GoodRx). Yeah, they got me in. Robin was super nice and interested and Dr. Zavier was also good. They took care of me and were accommodating and efficient. Everything else was on: cleanliness, efficiency. I've used zoom on several occasions, each time with good results. I've been feeling terrible the last couple days and convinced I was on my deathbed. You must realize, that in my mind I'm the toughest SOB that ever lived, so if I feel sick it must be the worst plague this world has ever seen. My wife (a RN) says I'm just a big baby....but what does she know? So normally I'd go to Zoom Care Tanasbourne but since I was on my last leg, with only minutes to live, I searched outside my comfort zone and saw zoom in NW had a slot open. Well to my pleasant surprise I noticed Dr. Janelle Siler was one of the doctors there (see my previous review on beaverton family medicine) so I booked my slot and took off downtown. Maybe an anomaly, but I showed up and there was parking available in front of the office. The woman in the lobby (damn me for failing to remember her name!) was super pleasant and checked me in while offering water and tea. Then Dr. Siler gave me a thorough interrogation on my symptoms and discomforts and suggested I probably had the flu. The flu? No way...I was already one foot in the grave. She swabbed me to do a flu test and then did the dr. stuff while we waited for the results-checked my lungs, my blood pressure, looked inside my nose and ears. The entire time she was very attentive to the conversation. She had excellent bedside manner and made frequent eye contact which always signals to me that they care and that they are actually listening. After 10 minutes or so the swab results came back. Although I was expecting the bubonic plague, it turned out she had it right--With the Flu. Dr Siler offered a prescription or two based upon my needs and I checked out. Look...zoomcare is a great place to go for your urgent health needs, but Dr. Siler is icing on the cake. I only wish she was my primary care physician. Will ZoomCare Pearl be jealous? Am I being unfaithful? Will you have the same selection of Stash Teas? Upon arrival, all hesitations were immediately curbed by a warm welcome from the associate at the front desk, who answers to the name "Traci". I had time to gulp down a peppermint tea before hearing my name called by an angelic voice. This voice belonged to Laura Evans, who was assigned with the task of undoing Ryan's beautiful suturing work. I was once again nervous- was I ready to have these stitches removed from my body? But Laura held my hand, looked me in the eyes, and snipped those threads, one-by-one. Honestly, I wish I had more than four stitches, so I could have spent more time in your embrace, ZoomCare. Unbelievably bad service, both in person and over the phone. It's impossible to get ahold of your doctor and the people over the phone are less than helpful, and quite rude too. It quite literally feels like you are throwing money out the window, especially when using the Zoom Doctor Chat. You'd honestly be better off getting medical care from someone under the Burnside Bridge. read more

The dentist, specialists, urgent care and primary care have all been easy and enjoyable, and many of them are open on weekends. I was able to book an appointment online and was seen immediately upon walking in the door. Very friendly staff and clean! The office visit took 10-15 minutes and they had my prescription in stock, so I did not have to run to a pharmacy after. I will say that the costs are hidden. I was surprised my insurance only covered $11 of the $140 office visit, plus $25 for the antibiotics. But you can't beat the efficiency! read more

After 3 years of yelping this is my first time reviewing a place. I'd like to start off saying I work in the restaurant field and I am very clumsy with knives, always cutting myself, and always in the urgent cares getting stitched up. Today a very nice lady helped me, Rebecca, who actually broke my record of most stitches from a knife cut (five total) but always this was my worst cut so far. I'd like to say she took everything with the most care, and I've never gotten stitched up so well before. Just by looking at her stitches I can tell she puts her 100 percent into her job and for each customer. No physician assistant has ever treated me that well and id like to end this review by saying she's at the top of my list of go-to physicians for the next time I cut myself, which will probably be next week. read more

Making an appointment and seeing the nurse all within 30 minutes was fantastic. Clean, open early, easy to book. The only tough part was getting vague advice from the nurse and her quick tendency to prescribe me antibiotics when I didn't need them. I did, though, really appreciate the follow up after my visit that surprisingly I haven't had from my physicians in the past. I'd recommend this place as a quick check-in emergency option for people needing or "thinking" they might need to see the doctor when they're not feeling well. read more

I stopped by Zoom Care at 12:00 PM while they took all my insurances information, etc.. and told me to come back at 4:30. I was then told at at 4:30 that I was too old for them to treat me. Although I have Medicare I also have Regence Blue Cross Advantage insurance which they would bill directly. I call my insurance which informed them that they could see me. I even offered to pay cash which they said they couldn't accept either because of my age. The young girl at the desk informed me she was the manager and had no supervisor that my insurance directed me to talk to. If you are 65 years of age Zoom Care will not see you which of their discriminatory policy. read more

This place is a scam. All they want to do is charge you for extras. I basically paid 163 bucks for some cough medicine , when what I really needed was antibiotics. I went somewhere else after leaving this place and got the antibiotic prescription that I needed. She refused to give me antibiotics as if it were some kind of big deal. I'm 50 years old and know my body well enough to know when I have a sinus and bronchial infection. The fake doctor was trying to get me to pay for a lung X-ray, just so they can make more money. Then she tried to prescribe two different types of cough syrup. If you're sick and you need antibiotics... be prepared to play their game and spend upwards of 300 bucks just to get a prescription. This place is what is is wrong with the American health care system. Raking people over the coals. I went somewhere else and they immediately gave me a prescription for what I needed without a bunch of lip service. read more

This is my first Yelp review, but I had to sign up just to rave about ZoomCare. At 8:07am today I booked an 8:30 appointment. I got in immediately, saw the nurse practitioner, got a nasal swab flu test, and was out the door with a Tamiflu script by 8:44. This was by far the most efficient medical care I've ever received, and I'll certainly go back the next time I have an urgent issue and can't get in with my PCP. read more

My first time at the NorthWest zoom+care is something that I will forever remember, thanks to Linda Nguyen and Rebecca Nuessle. The checking in process was easy. Linda asked for my photo id, my insurance card, verified my demographics, and fixed my email address (spelled wrong somehow). But it didn't end there. After I sat down, she asked about my day and if I was from the area. I told her I just recently moved to Northwest Everett. I also told her that I have only been to the Pearl District zoom+care and that this is my first time at the NorthWest zoom+care. Not going to lie, I had some expectations: Will NorthWest be as good at Pearl District? My visit with Rebecca was the perfect visit. Literally after getting checked in and talking to the best receptionist ever, Rebecca came out to the lobby and called my name. NO WAITING? Yes please. This was definitely a nice change. My visit with Rebecca was fast yet efficient. She ordered a lab and I was out the exam room. That is what I like!! For my check out process Linda reminded me that my lab test was going to an outside facility called labcorp: results in 3-5 days, billed separately after they bill insurance, call and or email once results are in...Do i even have to do anything here?
