I would give zero stars if I could! The "care" I received from Dr. Grace T. Dy at the Monroe walk-in clinic was the worst experience I have ever received and she was completely incompetent. I have a call into their senior medical manager right now to see to it that she cant treat any other patient the way she treated me. Do NOT be seen by her if you wish to get real care. I have been having a 102.5 fever off and on since Sunday with horrible aches and fatigue, which all came on very suddenly after a cold virus I had weeks ago, so I thought it could be pneumonia or a bacterial infection. On top of being dismissive, this "doctor" just told me to keep taking Tylenol and that it was a virus, in her opinion, since the xray didnt show pneumonia. She listened to me for literally one second with the stethoscope and was moving it constantly, so there was no way she could have heard my passage of air adaquately. She was super rude at the end when she rushed in, after my tests, and said, "it's a virus! There are hundreds of them out there, I mean... we can't test for every single virus! There are tons that carry a fever!" She said this with a rude voice and I followed with, "uh... I know there are hundreds of viruses, but many viruses do not just show up immediately and come on suddenly with a sustained fever of 102.5!" She then muffled under her curt breath, "well... that's true... but... it's viral. There's nothing I can do. Keep taking Tylenol." There was no "I hope you feel better." Nothing. She gets up and quickly exits. Her nurse was no better- I felt like we were being treated by soul-less AI robotics. I had my darling 11 year old daughter with me and she was asking good questions during my care and the admitting nurse was brushing her off constantly, so I answered my daughter in front of the nurse and did the nurse's job. Seriously- I have no idea why we were treated so rudely. The "doctor" didn't listen to my daughter's breathing for longer than 2 seconds and never told her to take deep breaths. When I told her that my husband could hear crackling, she said with a doubting tone, "oh... so... he has a stethoscope?!" I responded kindly, "yes... he is an EMT and knows well how to listen to breathing." Such rude demeanor. I don't know how she is considered a real doctor. I am pretty sure I am perspnally dealing with something bacterial here, and she completely wrote me off and didn't follow any additional testing, but rudely kept saying, "there's tons of viruses! It could be anything!" Ugh. We are sweet people and I was ready to engage graciously, but "Dr" Grace T Dy is clearly not committed to the same things. I will never see her again. read more

I brought my 6 month old daughter into the walk in thinking she had an ear infection. I told the doctor that she had been non stop pulling on her ears and is waking in the middle of the night screaming like she is in pain. He told me babies this age usually don't get ear infections, I told him just because it isn't common doesn't mean it can't happen, and I explained to him me and my husband's complications with ear infections as babies. I even asked him to see if there was a bunch of wax in her ears that could be bothering her. He then asked me if I was a first time mom, what does this have to do with anything? He looked in her ears and said she was fine, but he even pointed out how much she was pulling on her ears during the appointment. After he checked her ears he questioned why I even brought her in and sent us on our way. The next week my daughter had an appointment with her pediatrician and I told them I was worried about her ears, they took one look in them and couldn't even see her eardrums because they were full of wax! We then had to see an ENT to get it removed. Needless to say I will never go here again, and moms should be taken more seriously since they know their babies better than anyone else! read more

Reception when I checked in was great. The waiting time was not too bad, under an hour. The doctor I saw was the worst! Physician I saw was Mr Lee Argues. Mr. argues was by far the most egotistical doctor I have ever met. He refused to answer my questions, and walked out of the room while I was still talking! The man spent less than three minutes, actually looking at me. He spent more time out of the room "reviewing my records" for more time, then spin, looking or talking to me. Long story short, he was WRONG about his diagnosis. Had I done with his form of treatment, it would have ended up 10 times worse. Spent less than five minutes with me and prescribed me muscle relaxers, which I paid for at the clinic pharmacy. A few weeks later I received a bill for almost three times the amount I already paid. I have nothing good to say about this place, and since we started coming here with our son 18 months ago it has been a steady decline in care and customer service. My son is a patient with the pediatrics group, my husband is a patient with one of the primary care physicians, and since we are local we have been to the urgent care clinic multiple times. I honestly don't think the people running this place, including the HCPs, care one bit about their patients. Here is why.... First and foremost, no one answers the phone, EVER. What has healthcare become?! On multiple occasions, I have called the pediatrics group and never received a call back. One time I received a call back four days later and the woman on the phone said they are grossly understaffed and can't keep up with the call volume. While I appreciate your honesty, figure it out. Then, over the holidays I booked our son an appointment online to see our pediatrician and they cancelled an hour before our appointment time because my son had a fever (maybe I should have just lied about it?!). They gave our appointment to someone else and said they only have so many appointments available for "sick patients". They asked us if we could come in at a different time, which I do appreciate, but the time they offered did not work for us. We were literally told, "if you want to be seen sooner you can wait in line at urgent care". What the heck?! I'm 37 weeks pregnant and do not feel comfortable waiting in line for 90 minutes with a bunch of COVID-positive people and possibly exposing my 18-month old son. I sent a message through myChart requesting to keep our appointment, and was told that they do it this way to preserve PPE and it was an inconvenience to take PPE on and off between "well patient" appointments and "sick patient" appointments. Wow, just wow. For the record, no one in my household had been anywhere the days leading up to this, no one had been exposed to COVID, no one had symptoms... all we wanted to do was have our son seen by his pediatrician. We are DONE. To make matters worse, my husband has now been trying to schedule an appointment with his primary care physician for the past 48 hours but was denied because he has a COUGH... it's winter, people get coughs and coldS... you can't just turn everyone away because they have one out of 25 possible COVID symptoms! Once again, we were told to go to urgent care and wait in line with all the possible COVID-positive people, opening him up to exposure. He went anyway and when he got there he was told they were at full capacity and turned him away. DONE with this place. read more

Today I visited the Providence walk-in clinic. Check in was efficient and friendly, and my wait after that was less than 5 minutes. I was seen by Dr Bass who was warm, relatable, and completely non pretentious. In and out in 30 minutes. I have no complaints! read more

I went to Providence Urgent Care this past Tuesday. My experience was not good, it started by me telling the Physician that a week ago I had tested positive for Covid. I then proceeded to tell her that as of 3 days ago I tested negative for Covid., however, I was still feeling really awful. I told her the doctor that was on call for my family care doctor had called in Doxycycline but does not seem to be working. Her response was "it's a virus nothing you can do". Let me stress that at no time was I given a Covid test at Providence. However when I was able to see my family physician I was told by the front desk Providence had put in my notes I was positive for Covid and I was refused care. Not only do they have the most uncaring physicians at Providence they can't even get the information correct. Don't bother going to this facility they do not care I won't help you. Never been so disappointed in a medical facility. read more

If I could give 0 stars I would, I went in for a throat infection because I woke up with swollen glands, swollen tonsils, puss and white spots in my throat, and an INSANE amount of pain. My boyfriend had previously had tonsillitis and needed antibiotics so I assumed I'd caught it and made an appointment at the walk in clinic right away. Once there they tested me for COVID-19, strep and mono. The doctor told me after looking in my throat that it appeared I had nasal drip from allergies and that's what was irritating my throat. To which I told him I have chronic allergies and my throat is often raw from them but THIS was a whole different animal. It was serious and PAINFUL. He literally shrugged at me. I told him my bf had tonsillitis and he says that is a general throat infection diagnosis when strep and everything else comes back negative. When all the strep and mono tests came back they told me it was Covid 19 and I should go home. I told them that I didn't have a fever, cough, headache, congestion, body aches etc. So I must have tonsillitis as I wasn't even showing normal symptoms for corona. They left me alone in the room and came back with a list of prescriptions that would "help me" and left the room and told me to go home. When I got in the car I saw that the prescriptions were for ALLERGY MEDICATION. I was INFURIATED that they were not listening to my legitimate concerns and experience with my own body. The next day I woke up with twice the swelling, twice the puss, and twice the pain. I called the clinic and told them I needed a second opinion to which they told me I couldn't get because of my possible Covid diagnosis. I requested a call from my primary care physician. When I told her my symptoms she IMMEDIATELY prescribed me antibiotics and told me to call her if my throat starts to close from the swelling. I just got my covid tests back and they were NEGATIVE. I understand everyone's concern with Covid, we should take all precautions necessary. But to let the fear of Covid overwhelm your practice to the point where you fail to help your patients and diagnose them with something they don't even have is dangerous and disgusting. Covid is a serious illness but so are other things like bacterial infections! When someone tells you they know their body and that something is wrong LISTEN. The physicians care team upstairs here at this facility is fabulous but absolutely stay away from the walk in clinic/urgent care read more
