I've had pain from a partial bridge for over 20 years. Every dentist I've seen about it told me that the bridge was fine and it was all in my head. Some assistants and doctors are friendly. however, office management and insurance claim were not accurate. This complaint was some errors between our dental insurance and its claim. The dental insurance we went to 6 month cleaning and exam (100% covered high insurance). But we got some bill from this because office made claim wrong code. Second was my son's cleaning, Visiting date PPO dentist (believed) was no longer our contract, out-network dentist. Nobody checked update insurance and our information. When we checked in, office should tell this. Called this about office, nobody followed up this. Thus we ended & paid some money. Lastly, insurance sent me statement. Code U9306 Insurance also denied their service was unusual with the age. Three mistake was enough me to doubt management. read more

Best staff around! I finally feel like we've found our dental home. My three kids, my husband, and I all go here and they are so warm and welcoming to each of us. They treat us like family. As a personal aside, over three years ago, I met Dr. Johnathan Bergloff at my worst. I'd just experienced the worst dentistry of my life before finding this office, and Dr. Bergloff not only carefully and meticulously fixed my dental problems, he also managed to ease my mental state. He always treats me with the utmost care that somehow, through his gentleness and understanding over the years, my anxiety attacks have completely subsided while in his chair. I was referred to this office by a friend and will always be thankful! This is the first dental office that I actually want to go back to. I've been to numerous offices around the valley and have all sorts of horror stories to tell in regards to those office visits. At Provinces Dental they are so caring and friendly. Dr. Ruth Bergloff specifically is who I've had work done by, she is very gentle and considerate of making sure I am comfortable during the whole process. I would recommend to request Kim for your cleanings, she does a excellent job! I had another hygienist do my cleaning who simply did not have the sincerity in her work like the Kim does; she gave off the "just another patient closer to me being off work" vibe, but perhaps she was just having a rough day... I will say I have noticed some changes in the flow of the office, not sure if it's due to new staff members adjusting to becoming part of the team or what, but I could sense that the office is a little less harmonious than usual. read more

New patient. I've been seen for a cleaning and for a cosmetic procedure. My insurance changed, and this was close to the house and there were great reviews. PHENOMENAL dentist in Dr. Ruth: knowledgeable, thorough, and warm. I'm a pain in the butt when it comes to aesthetics and symmetry, but I may have met my match. She helped me with a cosmetic procedure. I never felt like she was rushing to get to the next patient; she just wanted it done right and for me to be satisfied with the results. I can't thank her enough for being so meticulous, patient, and accommodating. Seamless customer service experience from the front staff to the staff in the back that I've interacted with. You don't normally get that experience: I've experienced Dr offices where the physicians are world class but the front office is so bad it's not worth it. We have had nothing but great experiences at Provinces Dental but I was recently so impressed that I to take the time to write a review. We had an emergency dental situation with our son after normal business hours. He was in so much pain that he was literally shaking and I knew the emergency room would be unable to help him. I called the emergency dental line and to my surprise I received a call back right away. He knew my son needed help and met us at the office. I felt so bad to have to go in like this but when we arrived I was so happy to see that they were eager to help. He was fixed up in no time! I am a difficult patient and this team helps me get through it every step of the way. I have referred a few people here and they were well cared for as well. I can't say enough good things about The Provinces. I have been a patient with them for about 5 years and I've referred family, friends, and colleagues and they've all had great experiences as well. The front desk staff is awesome and the assistants, hygenists, and dentists are great. They don't try to "upsell" but they do ensure that all their patient's dental needs are being addressed. Recently I broke my retainer (I'm only 4 months out of the braces) and I called The Provinces at 4:45 on Wednesay. They told me to come in at 7:00 the next morning and they'd have the replacement retainer by 5:30 same day! They're also great about working with my busy schedule. If I tell them I need an earlier appointment they'll call me if anyone cancels. Love this place and as long as I'm living this area I'll never go anywhere else. read more

So being brand new to arizona and not knowing anything about anything I was quite nervous about finding a dentist and a doctor.. All the small things you take for granted. After a quick google search and review on yelp I decided to make an appointment at provinces dental. I can't tell you how impressed I was that not only were they open at 7am on a Saturday but how much they connect with their patients. Within minutes of me being in the chair we were talking about football and many other things. With each different person I talked to they made sure to communicate with each other before talking with me so they could pick up on the previous conversation. The X-ray tech was awesome and made me feel very comfortable, as a first time customer I was able to get x rays and a filling under 1.5 hours. Pretty epic. I feel I had to post this review because I always have a great experience whenever I visit! Both my husband and I have had a lot of dental work done here, crowns, fillings etc. and every experience has been a positive one. Dr. Ruth recently did Botox for me as well, and it looks fantastic. All doctors are very attentive and I love that they get you in and out without leaving you sitting in the chair for too long... Overpaid, 6 months later, never received a credit or a check. They said they keep it in case your insurance doesn't pay in the future!!? Check your statements with your insurance carefully. They charge as an adult, even though the insurance covers only child for a 14 yr old, leaving you with the added expense. You never get the same dentist twice, so you never build that confidence in one person. Last cleaning took 1 1/2hrs because the Hygienist was too talkative. read more

I haven't been here since 2015 because my 2016 insurance didn't cover Provinces Dental. I was disappointed big league! 2017, I got a different dental insurance plan that accepts this gem so I'm very happy to be back! I don't care that I'm paying a little extra. I haven't been to a better dental practice. Coming back, I noticed the service has not changed as it's still perfect. This place runs like a well oiled machine. The front desk staff has some of the friendliest people in the world. All of the dental hygienist are professional and patient oriented. They treat me with care always! Dr. Poelman, Drs Jonathan and Ruth Bergloff have been recognized as top dentist in the Phoenix area. That's huge! They're owners and take great care of their patients. You can also tell that their staff really likes them based on the casual conversations I have when I visit. That says a lot about them. I highly recommend that you pay them a visit if you're looking for a new dentist or feel your current dentist isn't a 10. You'll get nothing but 10s here. read more

I live in Southern California and fly/drive at least 4x a year to this dental office because Dr. John and Dr. Ruth are my dentists for life! I've been visiting their dental office for several years and appreciate the professionalism and honesty of the doctors and the friendly staff. I've tried several other dentists in California and have not found anything close to the positive experience received at Provinces Dental. Unfortunately, I had to run the gamut of dental services (root canals, fillings, crowns, teeth cleanings, etc.) Each time I was told up front how much it would cost versus insurance coverage which I really appreciate. Being in the service industry myself, I can tell when someone is trying to up sell me a product or service. However, my experiences with Dr. John and Dr. Ruth have never been this case. It's refreshing to step inside an office that prescribes timely and correct treatment. I'm also impressed with the consistent skill level of the Doctors - meaning I can book with either Dr. John if Dr. Ruth is not available and vice versa and feel confident I'm in good hands. The office is super clean and feels very positive and warm. That's BIG in my book cause I don't even want to be there in the first place but since I have to, it makes my experience more enjoyable. One last thing - I've realized that the staff members are the same each time I visit which makes me think that it's a good place to work. Again, being in the service industry, I notice these things. I was referred by my coworker to this office and I am so thankful I finally got the courage to come. I suffer from high anxiety and generally (like most) hated the dentist so much I refused to go for over 5 years. Unfortunately I began having excruciating tooth pain that I finally decided to set up an appointment. Melony? at the front desk was able to get me in immediately and I was in the dentist chair within 20 minutes of arriving. Doctor Poelman and his assistant were absolutely amazing and patient. Within an hour I had my infected tooth and wisdom tooth extracted and felt no pain whatsoever! My experience here was so great I went ahead and scheduled my next appointment. My only regret is not coming sooner I could have avoided all this pain. read more

If you are looking for a dentist who handles billing properly this is not the one for you! After 4 months from date of service and the billing office not submitting the bill properly to the insurance they are sending me to collections. I've enlisted the help from the insurance company and the dentist office is not going to postpone sending me to collections. The irony is THEY are at fault! They are the ones who didn't submit my claim form properly plus they aren't following their own office policy. The insurance company has been in contact with them, they have contacted the insurance company plus I have contacted the insurance company but they don't want to WAIT for the money. The coverage is active so that's not the issue. I do not recommend this dentist office and will not be going back. read more
