Came in on a busy Saturday over Presidents' Day weekend. When we got in line, we realized there was an unattended signup sheet after some locals walked in and put their names down ahead of us, which seems like something that could be fixed with a host or a sign. When we were seated, we were disappointed to learn that most of the breakfast menu was no longer available after 11 , which is unusual for a diner serving breakfast, and also could be something written down in a menu or a website. Interior was very cute country diner aesthetic, exactly what you'd be looking for. Our party ordered the choriqueso, Philly cheese steaks, and the Idaho potato bowl. The cheesesteaks were a good size but somewhat dry; the bread and meat were too dry, and not enough cheese. The potato bowl was good, and the choriqueso was mostly chorizo and guacamole with some nice habanero salsa. Overall, would recommend getting here early so you can get breakfast. A must go!! Food? Incredible. Coffee? Bottomless. Staff? Wonderful. Came here twice in the same week and got the same Mexican omelet which has never happened before. Other orders at the table were the machaca plate, ham benny eggs Benedict, provisions pancakes, and breakfast burrito. Doing a little exploring from our homebase in Jackson, Wy and came across the adorable town of Driggs, ID. We were hungry and randomly chose Provisions Local Kitchen and we were so glad we did! The cozy atmosphere inside is fantastic and I'd say it's not only popular with locals but tourists like us too. Staff was super friendly and the food great. My guy had a Philly cheesesteak and fries and he thought it was great - and no trouble ordering it without bellpeppers, his preferred way. I had a soup/sandwich special with tuna salad and posole. I tell you what, that homemade posole rivaled some of the best Mexican restaurants I know of here in the Southwest. So delicious - I highly recommend it. Visiting Driggs from CA and found this absolute gem! Stopped by 3x for breakfast to try different dishes. All were delicious! French toast combo with ham, the steak and potatoes bowl, the pancakes combo, and the steak breakfast burrito! This place also has amazing drinks and espresso machine. The cappuccino was The staff is friendly and speak Spanish as well. The space is cozy inside and the outside patio is a great option to enjoy the cool weather. The food was fresh, flavorful, and served in generous portions -- we even had enough to take some leftovers home. There was minimal wait time when we arrived in the morning, but it started getting busy closer to noon, so I'd recommend coming early if you can. I ordered the chilaquiles with asada. They were absolutely delicious! It's probably the best I've had (and I'm from CA where we have some of the best Mexican food!). The eggs were a delight. There were some slices of orange to bite into. The breakfast potatoes were cut nicely and small - and the chef added extra scallions to them to balance out the skins. Texas toast was cut thick and was so good I almost ordered a second slice just because. The waitress was kind and gentle and brought me lemon slices to douse in my water. In addition to indoor seating there is also a large outdoor seat area around the back that is separate from the main building. The decor and food were 5 star. Bless their hearts - they were the only sit- down restaurant in town open on a Monday during a holiday week! We put our name in for a party of 10 and it only took about 30 minutes to seat us. We sat in adjacent booths and received excellent service. It was a little warm, but not uncomfortable. The menu is fairly extensive including breakfast all day. We tried all sorts of entrees and breakfast options. I split a bison burger with my sister and we were both full! It was cooked and seasoned beautifully with a soft but sturdy bun accompanied by sweet potato fries, also cooked perfectly. We had lunch on a Friday and brunch on Sunday at Provisions. The friendly staff and effiency of service caught our attention first. For a local lunch and breakfast spot, Provisions gets a top rating. Our food was served promptly at both of our visits, despite being slammed with customers both times. I opted for a simple club sandwich for my lunch as I'd already had a large breakfast, but it was fresh and tasty. My Sunday brunch was outstanding. I happen to love Mexican breakfast dishes and the Machaca Plate hit the spot perfectly. Shredded beef with onions and scrambled eggs with tortillas served with guacamole and black beans on the side is a superb brunch platter. It was all fresh and delicious.
