    Three different enchiladas.
    Shauna S.

We just had lunch here. Fortunately it was a nice day so we could eat outside at one of their many shaded tables. It smelled funky inside. Chips weren't anything special, but they came with salsa and refried beans. Several employees helped us. All were friendly and fast. They let me order three different enchiladas instead of three of the same kind as listed on the menu. My favorite was the shredded chicken with suiza sauce. Hubby loved their shredded beef with mole' sauce. I was too full to eat more than one bite of the third enchilada which was supposed to be cheese but was actually carne asada. Tough meat and not much sauce. Their rice has corn, peas and carrots. All of the food could have been heated longer. My husband did not like his steak but the shrimp was okay. Their corn tortillas were delicious but small. We didn't have any leftovers which is unusual. Portions aren't huge. They gave a mechanical horse for kids to ride for $1 and there were two bounce houses in the back yard. I was surprised it wasn't busier on a Saturday of memorial weekend. Beautiful views!

    Take out chicken enchiladas

Came in on a Tuesday night. The place was busy but the tables were spread apart. Our server was very friendly and helpful. It was Taco Tuesday so all tacos were $1. What a bargain. You get your tacos on a corn tortilla and then go over to the taco topping bar and add whatever you would like to it. There were so many toppings to choose from. One of them was guacamole and it was really good. When you first are seated you get a bowl of chips and a warm bean dip, as well as warm green sauce. The green sauce has a small amount of spice to it. My son and husband ordered burritos. My son got the Idaho Burrito and he said it was good. My husband ordered one that had french fries on it. I think he would forego the fries the next time. We also ordered take out for our daughter. She got the chicken enchiladas. The portion size was large. It was covered with green sauce. She loved the flavor but it was a bit spicy for her. We had a pleasant experience here.

Ordered take-out from here last week while we were staying at an Airbnb nearby. When I walked through the doors to pick up our grub, it felt like I was transported to a cantina in Mexico City: the place was dark and homey, and a few men were having beers and chatting in Spanish while watching a Liga MX game on TV. Obviously, that vision vanished the second I stepped back out into the snow, but I knew right then and there that we were in for an authentic meal. I got the Enchiladas Verdes, which did not represent the biggest portion size in the world, but about what I expected for $9. The rolled tortillas were short, but spongy and home-made. The tang of the green salsa and the creamy, luscious white cheese that was plentiful on top really hit the spot. The refried beans and rice tasted fresh and flavorful. This homestyle Mexican joint in Idaho gets a stamp of approval from this born-and-raised Texan!

This is legit Mexican food. After a long day of hiking we were starved and this place did not disappoint. Everything is made fresh and full of flavor. I asked for pico and they made is fresh! The salsa is served warm and so are the chips. I wish I had one near my home town!

They do it right. I ordered the asada fajitas. They came with flour tortillas which were served hot and came out first like they should. Fajitas were served on a sizzling skillet. Also rice and beans. Food was good. I had an ice cold Modelo Especial beer.

This was so delicious. The Molocajete!!!! All I can say is AMAZING!!!

Food is pretty good. If you have kids the two bounce houses make this spot a no brainer. Best/only micheladas in the valley.

This was probably the best meal we had while visiting Yellowstone and Grand Teton National Parks…read more We had a day to explore the area and Grok (of all things/places) recommended visiting Victor and Driggs for the day. Kids had chicken tenders and the steak and fries. Both kids enjoyed their meal. The chicken tenders were huge and kid got 3 of them. The steak was about 5oz, which was a decent size for the kid. It came pre-cut, so the kiddo didn't have to handle a huge steak knife to cut it--which was nice. Both came with a generous serving of golden French fries. Fresh cut or frozen, these fries were good! Either a second ramekin of ketchup or a larger one is definitely needed for the amount of fries served. I had the burger. It wasn't fancy--just cheese, lettuce, tomato, and onions--but it was a thick patty with fluffy bun with lots of flavor. It also came with a ton of golden fries. My mom had the BLT that didn't skimp on the pork belly. I wish the stores sold thick cut bacon like that. She said it was delicious. Hubby had the lobster roll. The kids brought the purple potato chips were the neatest thing (they were good, too). The lobster roll was perfectly dressed--not too much and not too skimpy--and tasted surprisingly fresh. This place is a little more upscale than some of the other places we've eaten at this week. We were welcomed as we were--shorts and tees. Other guests were dressed casually, not overly fancy. The adjacent museum was a cool place to visit, too. It housed 3 restored Navy planes that were neat to see. Since we're headed home tomorrow, we won't be back, but if we were staying longer, we'd make the ~hour long drive just to eat there again!

However, our food experience was also mixed. We shared a soup du jour (potato bacon broth based) which was awesome. Parmesan fries app came as a generous portion and were pretty good as was our elderberry mocktail. The big disappoint was the tandoori chicken which the waitress recommended but we found to be very dry. It was described on the menu as having a yogurt marinate, which was already mixed into the dish, but we couldn't really taste it. The tabouli/rice that came with it was also dry and didn't have much taste. The waitress was nice and tried to get more sauce but when she couldn't, she brought olive oil and vinegar which was ok but at that point I would have just liked something different as it was pretty mediocre. Forage is a nice restaurant with some nice options but you should expect to spend a fair amount. I would expect the fine dining experience quality to match the price, but we had enough good food here that I would come back to try something different.

We were very surprised to find the line already went out the door! The line moved fast and boy you better be ready to order when you step up, because it is a fast moving, no messing around system. In addition there were at least three employees taking orders at the counter so the pastry case is extremely crowded and it's difficult to view what the options are. The employees weren't un-kind, but they there were no niceties like "good morning". They wanted to move you through the line quickly, so we didn't feel we could really peruse the pastries and so we skipped it and we just ordered a hot coffee and a large hot almond milk latte. People were already more than crowded inside waiting for their items so we stepped onto the patio. It was a chilly morning so the small fire pit was welcomed. For the giant crowd waiting we received our drinks within a reasonable time frame. They call names from inside behind the counter, so if you are not within 4 feet of the counter you will not hear them. We sat on the patio near the garden and the view was beautiful. My "large" latte was the same small size of my husband's drip coffee and both appeared to be around 12-14oz. Disappointing. The drip coffee was okay, but not worth returning for and my almond milk latte was also just okay. We maybe would have given Persephone another try, but in the end we chose to try the many other coffee/bakery shops in downtown. I'm not saying 'stay away', I'm just saying it's not as amazing as the hype. Other tips -look at the menu BEFORE you get in line, especially if it is buys -if you happen to snag an indoor seat realize there will be little to no privacy as the line will form right next to your table. -the birds outside are cute, friendly and will absolutely eat your food if you leave it unattended for even a moment - we saw a pack of small birds try to fly off with an entire egg croissant sandwich in the 1min the owner stepped inside for napkins. *don't worry, we stopped them

It was very tastefully decorated inside. The first time, I shared some food. It was good, but very expensive. I got a salad (22$) and a ham sandwich. The sandwich was 16$, which wasn't worth it. One slice of ham and one slice of cheese. The salad was fresh and flavorful. You can tell the ingredients are of high quality, but I don't know how people can afford this place regularly. The second time I went, I ordered two drinks to-go. One coffee, which was good. I found that a lot of coffee places in town don't know how to pull espresso, but my coffee was soo smooth.
