Ahi tuna with fresh avocado and plantain chips.

We had one of the best meals on our entire trip at Forage! Fantastic wine selection. Beautiful vistas of the Tetons in a unique airport setting. Everything we ordered was well done and remarkably delicious!!!

Seabass special
Emily F.

Great place and happy to check it out while visiting. Get a reservation if possible as it's always busy and fairly small inside. It's cozy and nice inside and everyone really friendly. We ordered a bottle of wine and cocktails. Tried the ginger and huckleberry and wish the huckleberry flavor would have come thru more. For food we started with the garlic bruschetta and wild boar stew. Both were great with flavor, texture, and portion. My main was the special of the day, seabass. It came out cool-chilled and fish didn't feel completely cooked, didn't flake away, and couldn't cut thru it. They told me that's how it's supposed to be. I asked them to cook it more as I was worried it was slightly too raw. They kindly did and was perfect when it was brought back. Noodles under the fish were hot this time as well and fish was cooked, flaky, and glistening. Portions were pretty filling but had room for dessert. We tried the chocolate one (can't remember what it was called) and was amazing. It was my favorite thing to eat of the night. Texture was smooth and light, flavor balance with the salty and sweet, and loved the crust. Food was all presented beautifully and glad we got to eat here.

Our absolute favorite restaurant when visiting. This was our 3rd time dining, 1st time at their new location. The food was fantastic as usual. My wife and I had a little bit of everything. There was nothing bad. We went early so it wasn't too busy. We got amazing service as well. Our waitress was super nice and took great care of us. I wish I could remember her name to give credit, but we remember her pesto backpacking story. Hopefully she sees this. Also being right at the airport, doesn't get better than watching all the planes come and go.

Meatballs + creamy polenta + pistachios
Jonathan G.

Visiting some family in Driggs, we decided to pop into Forage for a last minute dinner. We didn't have reservations, but they were happy to work with us to grab a four top in their outdoor patio area. We got a bottle of the house red, Spanish I believe, for around $35. A personal pet peeve of mine, is fine dining that doesn't offer some kind of bread/starch with the meal. Of course they want to sell an appetizer or two, but sometimes it's just nice to have a little artisan bread to nibble on with your wine. But that doesn't affect the food! Speaking of, I was torn between the veggie lasagna and the handmade meatballs with creamy polenta and pistachios. The server mentioned she was a vegetarian, so couldn't offer an opinion of the meatballs, but her friends who were in town that week both got them and raved. That was good enough for me. The meatballs were really, really good. Tender, with a savory sauce on top, sat on creamy polenta and crushed pistachios. It was a really good play on savory + salty + sweet in each bite. It was a bit on the small side. So if you're hungry, you may want to get Into a soup or salad on the front end. The price point was probably a little higher than it felt like it should have been, but when you're the best fine dining option in a little bedroom town like Driggs, you can get away with it. I would absolutely return here, as the food and service were both top tier. Especially for that area. The price point makes it a once in a while place, not an every other week spot. At least for my budget. Regardless, if you find yourself in Driggs and want the best the town has to offer, I'd suggest you give the folks at Forage a try. I think you'll be glad you did.

Norwegian Salmon. Farmed, not wild.
Thomas M.

This was our first visit to Forage after their move to the old Warbirds location at the Driggs airport. The service was great, until it wasn't. Overall I was disappointed in our experience. I think the true gem here is their Happy Hour but it's short, only 3-5 daily. Their HH menu has decent offerings for good and drink and brings the prices down from the stratosphere to a more reasonable level. My wife was interested in the Salmon and asked a question about their sourcing. She was told "it's wild caught Norwegian Salmon." Ain't no such thing folks...all Norwegian Salmon is farmed. Given the price we paid our waitress should have known better. I paid $27 for their hamburger/ fries. They tried way too hard on this monstrosity. It was not well executed. Just give me a properly cooked, high quality beef burger that is properly cooked. Speaking of, the expression "died at the pass" definately applied to our meal. The salmon came out cold, and my burger came out overcooked and the fries were cold. Inexcusable at these prices. Not going back for dinner anytime soon but will be trying the Happy Hour. I hope your experience is better.

Meatloaf - delicious!
Alison G.

They really knocked it out of the ballpark this time (again!). Every bite was beyond delicious. The lions mane mushroom miso zucchini ribbon dish was absolutely fantastic. Also the pierogies were to die for. And the special of the day scallops were melt in your mouth delicious. Bring your own to go containers to avoid all the waste. And just transfer from plates to your containers when it is ready. Save the earth!!

A unique setting in a wine / liquor store with a tapas bar in the back, amongst the wine racks and liquor bottles. Long communal tables and sitting hip to hip with foodies, locals, and people meeting total strangers. It is good conversation with everyone sharing stories, not once was politics mentioned. Reservations are not taken, instead you will find the host making people scoot to make room for new arrivals at the long tables. Our servers were spot-on with service, drinks and sharing her favorites. It is cozy and casual, people meeting people. The spirits here are for the pros with knowledge of wine, beer, spirits and bubbles. We started with the wild mushroom mozzarella with balsalmic butter, parmesan and balsalmic glaze served on crunchy baguettes. It was unbelievably flavored and tasty, a great start to the night and must have! The Spanish salad with arugula, apple, fennel, almonds, manchego and a honey-sherry vinegarette was good but not on par with the other dishes. The tuna crudo with cucumber, arugula, crunchy grains, orange wedges, citrous vinegarette, fried capers and preserved lemon was light, a real palate cleanser, and refreshing. A pleasant surprise and would order again. The lamb pintxos was our final selection and a great dish to end the night on. The fork tender lamb tenderloin was served on 2 skewers with mojo verde, Spanish aoili, and pickled red onions on crisp baguette slices. Another Homerun! The menu changes frequently and the tapas allow you to try several different delectable dishes. It encourages sharing and forces you to open up and try different dishes. Hands-down my favorite food and conversation while visiting Jackson, WY. To the staff here at Binn 22, congrats on a unique and completely fabulous dinner and concept. I can't wait to return and try many other options on a truly innovative menu. If you haven't been here, only one word, WHY?

A thoroughly enjoyable evening and dinner…read more Possibly the best ribeye I've had in the past 10 years, but the other "foam and powder"aspects of the dish were just silly. The so called General Tso steak sauce was like a thimbleful smear and completely irrelevant. BBQ Ramen seasoning? Not even enough to get a taste profile of it. The trout with a green curry sauce was good but again, ummmm.... Trout has a subtle flavor. Green curry coconut sauce, and stuffed with another type of Asian something something....might as just as well better to use a neutral tasting fish like a better quality tilapia imho. Let trout taste like trout. Use a different, neutral tasting fish for these kinds of sauces and fillings. Well at least it wasn't covered with a garnish of micro greens lol. Just a little cilantro heh heh heh. I mean don't get me wrong. Both entrees were okay. But a waste of quality fish when a less costly fish would have been fine what with all those other flavors. And the foam and powder embellishments on the steak were barely noticeable. The whole menu reads like a community college cooking school graduate little bit of this little bit of that. When I get home I'm going to have fun writing the different components of all the menu items on index cards, shuffle, and see what combinations come up each time. And I love the idea of a General Tso steak sauce and want to try creating one. And using a packet of Ramen seasoning instead of Cajun seasoning sounds like a fun thing to try. I just won't do it on a fifty dollar piece of meat. If you are counting calories you skip the gross doughnut hole dessert. Dense ball of dough. Gummy. Like they used a cake doughnut recipe instead of a yeast doughnut or beignet recipe. But if not counting calories , go for it. It's fun to try the sauces, even if not that great a doughnut. Great, festive, lively ambiance . Super friendly staff and service.

With so many strong restaurants in Jackson, this one didn't stand out as one we would revisit…read more Our server was lovely--friendly, attentive, and clearly doing their best. Unfortunately, the bar was painfully slow. Our first round of drinks took about 15 minutes, and the second took closer to 30 minutes after ordering. We eventually had to check in to make sure they were even coming. The food was fine, but not something we'd come back for. The elk pasta lacked the depth and richness you expect from a bolognese. The trout--poblano stuffed and curry-prepared--was an interesting idea, but the curry completely overpowered the fish, making the dish feel unbalanced. We had curry-dusted trout at The Blue Lion earlier in the week that was far better. (One of the best trout meals I've ever had.)

5 stars. No notes. Absolute culinary witchcraft…read more Listen... I am NOT a lamb guy. Lamb and I have historically had a very casual, distant relationship. But the server convinced me to order the signature rack of lamb at The Blue Lion and I swear it was one of the best meals I have ever eaten in my entire life. I'm not exaggerating when I say I almost cried at the table. At one point I stopped talking entirely and just stared at the plate like I was having a spiritual experience. Was it expensive? Yes. Did they offer my wife a birthday dessert? They did not. Did I briefly consider licking the plate in public anyway? Also yes. None of it matters because that lamb transcended earthly cuisine. I will be 87 years old in a rocking chair still whispering about "that lamb in Jackson Hole." I don't know what dark culinary pact was made in that kitchen, but I support it fully. I swear... I will dream about that lamb.

I started with a drink special, the Pancho Via Margarita-it has a unique chili salt rim. Different, but a good margarita. The lamb came with a very good salad with a surprisingly great vinaigrette sauce. The lamb was just good. Nothing like the other reviews indicated. Its seasoning was unimpressive. I had to salt it!! The jelly was too sweet for my taste. The potatoes and zucchini were very good, but the lamb was so disappointing given the hype of others. Yes, I ate it all, but good rack of lamb should not require salting.
