The Shops at the Pru are average. You can find most of them one street over on Newbury, in a nicer setting (outside shopping in the spring? nothing better). I'll come here to visit Sephora, but that's about it. I normally just use the Pru as a walkway between Boylston/Newbury & Copley Place. read more

I come here a lot with my Princess. Surprisingly, the kiosks have some pretty good items and can make some good buys. There is also some great stores such as Sephora. The food court has some pretty good places to eat such as Chowdas, Pizzeria Regina, and Flamers. There are also restaurants such as Legal Sea Food, Daily Grill, and PF Changs. I can not forget that they also have a Stone Cold there as well. The sky walk on top of the building is awesome especially at night. I also like the 'park' in the middle with its beautiful landscaping. The Prudential is always decorated nicely and well maintained. The only two things I don't like about this place are the high parking rates and the lack of stores that cater to men. read more

While visiting Boston last weekend we stopped and took the very fast elevator up 52 floors to the top of the Prudential Building! I have done this a few years ago...the best views of all of Boston! read more

In terms of shopping, I hate the Prudential Center and only visit for the Sephora and the food court. It doesn't really feel like a mall so I put it more in the category of a horrible shopping center. Save for Sephora, I don't really care for any of the stores here. I love their food court so this review gets a star for Sephora and a star for the food court. read more

Usually when I'm walking through here, I'm just trying to get somewhere else. The groups of tourists ambling four abreast make that decidedly more difficult. Management could easily facilitate the flow through here by removing the crap-selling kiosks that clog the middle of the corridors, but I guess "I Love Boston" merchandise is a hot sell. read more

Great selection of different and typical shops here. The food court is really good and check out the rest of the food places around the shops toward the convention center, the cupcake place was really good. I liked shopping here but it was busy and very crowded. Word of advice do not expect low prices as this place caters to tourists and they direct their pricing toward them a lot. They will have the tourist stuff that you want but you will pay for it with a high price. read more

The view from the top of the prudential was amazing. It shows the entire city of Boston, such a captivating view. The price was cheap (less than $20,) and they had all kinds of cool info graphics and videos that present the rich culture and history of Boston. In terms of the rest of the building, I can't say much. This review is about the top of the prudential, not the rest of the building. read more

yummy virgin pina colada, yummy vegetarian pasta, Noosh is a great waitress, the bartender yesterday was attentive even though I dont drink alcohol, the host men were very kind and helpful, the music performers and vocalists were AHMAZING, the view was beautiful, and the lighting was great. I barely had to wait for a window seat without a reservation~much appreciated because I attempted a formal one via phone but the line was busy each attempt. My new fave place to go! Parking is too expensive and a total ripoff. Went to dinner at Pru with wife and parking ticket was $42 off hours and on a weekend. If I was a business proprietor there, I would be outraged since that is driving away business. Parking clock on entry is two minutes slower than real time and clock on exit is magically a minute minute ahead of time. So they are methodically ripping people off that are close the parking time limits. Will not give business to the Pru again. read more

Decide to treat my daughter for her 20th birthday. View was great! Waiter not friendly at all. Didnt even ask us if we wanted coffee. Orange juice was an additional 6 dollar for a 42 dollars brunch (should be included). Nothing like paying 200 dollars for over cooked cold eggs. Do yourself a favor and go to a restaurant that is selling quality food and not a view. read more

I feel sorry for all the people that actually spent the chunk of money on going to the top of the Prudential, especially when you can get the same view for practically nothing. Skip the observation deck, and go up another floor to the restaurant. Sit and relax on the comfortable chairs, and buy a drink and you see the same exact thing. Sit by the window and order a soda if you are cheap, a beer if you want to relax, or martini if its been a long day, then enjoy the view. read more

Pricey mall, I don't ever really go shopping at these high end stores. I go to the restaurants inside or to meet with friends. However, the building is quite nice to look at from afar. Lots of things happening inside. read more

I really miss the wonderful wide open entrance and going up the stairs at the boylston st entrance to the prudential center in boston. It was so stately. Even the plaza shop area was wide but now all is crammed. Not attractive. The whole thing now is hodge podge...a shame. Who were the planners? They really blew a beautiful site. We walked around here during our free time in between the convention times. There are some NICE shops here - definitely a place where you can drop a lot of money very quickly. It's very clean, has a wide variety of shops, restaurants, and little stands throughout the mall. If anything, it was fun to just window shop and see what they had. pru is an essential center of the backbay. i used to walk thru here on my way home to get to the t station. it anchors a big indoor network of promenades (including copley square) that connect sheraton to the west, westin to the east... it's a great place to hang out, people-watch, kill time when it's raining outside. prudential itself has moderately-priced stores and a lot of good restaurants, plus a large barnes & noble. restaurants include legal seafood, cheesecake factory, pf changs's, a terrific fresh made-to-order salad placed called 'tossed,' cpk. plus there's a great big food court that's about as good as it gets in terms of all the mall food courts out there. this one has qdoba, boston chowda, gourmet india, panda express, etc. read more

I hate what they've done with the place. I really miss what I knew as the Prudential Mall. It has changed so much, and not for the better. The new design/layout is just awful. It isn't inviting at all. I was very disappointed with the changes they've made. I agree with some other reviewers that the shops are on the pricier side and most of them aren't worth going into. There should at least be more of a range of prices when it comes to the types of stores. I have very little reason to return to the NEW Prudential Mall. read more

Really nice, really clean, really busy. Lots of stores and center isle kiosks. A very helpful guest/visitor information desk. A good amount of scenic seating areas. Some good food options in addition to fast food places. The kiosk to purchase tickets to the SkyWalk (observation deck) is located here (or you can get tickets on the 50th floor. Also do take the walkway over to Copley Place (located near Express Mens). I on my first visit didn't bother walking over because I mistakenly thought it led to a parking area, but it actually leads to another gorgeous mall with even more stores than in Pru. Also good to note is there is Green Line T access from the basement; you can connect to the Red line at Park St. Shop or people watch or eat; whatever you do just take a walk through it on your way about town - if nothing else it makes for a nice indoor walkway. Between here, Copley Place, and Newbury St there isn't a store this city doesn't have. read more

I think the only store we stopped at with guys/ girls apparel at reasonable prices was American eagle, which you don't have to drive all the way to Boston for. I had a great experience buying a new phone from the T mobile dealer across from Barnes and Noble. Went there last Monday and the girl working was very helpful. I didn't even expect it to leave with a new phone but she made it easy to switch from my old phone to a new one. I plan on going back when its time to upgrade! read more
