I've has a tuneup, timing belt, O2 sensors replaced, oil changed, and a battery replaced here... and no complaints. My car has always been serviced within 4 hours to 24 hours depending on the work (that was my timing belt and tune up). The prices are very reasonable too, one thing that people need to be aware of is that Gabriel, the shop's owner does not take plastic, so be aware and bring cash or a check book. Most people would have a problem with that, but honestly it keeps costs down for him which are passed to me. His oil changes are about $15 if I recall correctly. The shop itself looks a little run down....the place could use some fresh paint here and there, but whatever. I informed him that my car had been sitting out for 3 months in California and was transported here not to long ago. He got to work shortly after and oh my goodness. Michael at Transmission Hero is one of my all time mechanic hero's. it took three times to find…read morethe leak in my trans and get it right and by God he did! After the second try Michael was humble and honest enough to admit to me that on the first two tries he had his 'not as skilled as him' guys do the job and thats why i was back for the third try. Once he laid HIS golden hands on my trans it was healed. During all of this i was totally expecting the usual bullshit of "Well thats a different leak and it will cost more. ..." he did non of that. After the leak was fixed my trucks check engine light came on. i took it to my friend and truck God Kevin at Coosa Valley 4 Wheel Drive. Kevin found that one of the batteries was not only different from the other, but that it was a totally different TYPE of battery. I took pics and sent them to Michael. Michael and his friend immediately jumped in his lory and drove the 15 or so miles to Coosa Valley 4 Wheel Drive. Turns out one of his 'not so skilled' guys drained the battery and instead of informing Michael he just tossed in a battery from an old jeep sitting around the yard. Once again Michael and his friend jumped in his lory and went and bought a brand new battery and installed it on the spot. Michael humbly apologized for all the shenanigans regarding the trans leak, never attempted to gaslight me to charge me more and promised to give a glorious ass chewin to the "not-so-skilled" workers. What a guy. I cannot recommend him highly enough. Thanks Michael and Angel. you kids ROCK!

He does not do the work quickly, he takes the time and does it right. He got my truck and spent a week researching any recalls before starting work, to make sure I didn't have to pay for a repair before starting. I had a rebuilt trans shipped to Neese Transmission, and during the install, the valve body was bad from the new transmission I bought, He let me know and was fair in the install price. The amount for the repair was a little more than his estimate, but it was a 4 wheel drive pickup install, so this was more complicated than most transmissions. I recommend this shop for folks who need transmission service.
