No one wants to listen to the banging & yelling of skateboarders while they're trying to enjoy a relaxing dinner, and last time I was there, one driver in the parking lot was yelling obscenities at another driver & threatened to "cap" them. This doesn't create an atmosphere that's going to attract families or out-of-town visitors. Perhaps it's time for University Plaza to invest in a security guard or two.

The first time they told me children weren't allowed and then, most recently, they told my mother-in-law that they were going on lunch at 3 PM, and the kids had to leave, but then they never closed the store. This unwelcoming attitude doesn't build a strong buy local community. This is discrimination and it should not be tolerated in our downtown Salinas community.
