The service was great very friendly and patient because I didn't know what to order. I would definitely come back and order other items. Terrible. I ordered a pound of corned beef. I asked if he could cut it extra thick. He agreed. I ended up with it cut extra thin. Check your orders before you leave because they don't care what they give you. They give you what they want, not what you want. I've worked at a deli and know that when a customer orders something out of the ordinary you make a slice, show it to them, and ask if that was what they want. This is an old school neighborhood deli and I miss those. I only got cold cuts. Boar's Head is standard everywhere, same case here. It was busy and the three guys behind the counter were cranking out orders. I like that they are so old fashioned that they don't use plastic bags to put your deli meats in. Nice, environmentally friendly paper and waxed paper. It took me back. They're a fairly comprehensive grocer as well. They had the orange sherbet that I like. I have a hard time finding it in most supermarkets so I had to grab one. Overall it's a solid neighborhood spot that every neighborhood needs. read more

We ordered food online at 9:50 PM with a pickup time of 10:05 PM. I arrived at the store at 10:10 PM. I inquired at the register about my order, and I was directed to the deli. The deli employee then sent me back to the register. By this time, it was already 10:25 PM. They finally began preparing my order around 10:30 PM, and I received it at 10:40 PM ( almost a hour later ) . This experience highlights that ordering directly at the store would have been significantly faster. Furthermore, I was charged $11.50 per sandwich, which I assumed to be a hero sandwich, as that's the typical price for a hero in the store. However, I was later informed that the online order price of $11.50 is for a roll. This discrepancy makes no sense, especially since I ordered from their online deli section. Don't understand how that is the case when I frequently order the same item and it's a hit or miss if it's made right. This deli is below average when it comes to their service and products. Ideally, you're paying for the service because you can buy the rolls and cold cuts and customize the sandwhich to your liking instead of paying for $2 of cold cuts on a 50 cent roll/hero and paying $8.00 average per sandwich. I go to the deli yesterday to purchase a few cold cuts and I noticed when the deli clerk pulled open the refrigerator door and pulled out my swiss cheese, the cheese and all other cold cuts (in excess of 30-40 different cheeses and meats) were placed raw on the metal shelf with no wrapping or barrier from cross contamination. So in essence, your cheese was placed onnthe counter 'cheese side down the counter as opposed to on its side or at least wrapped on saran wrap". They don't have a designated spot for stuff so if you're allergic to certain cold cuts, you are definitely compromised with their random placement of uncovered cheeses and meat. When I brought this up to the deli clerk, he mentioned that we don't have the time to wrap and unwrap cold cuts several times a day, and that we clean the counters everyday, i asked him what time they clean them and he mentioned 10am the next day. He then started to converse in Arabic to the other deli workers clearly talking shjt about me and etc. I came the next day at 940am, and they didn't clean shjt. Throughout my tenure as a customer in this store from 2010 until today, I've never seen them clean a refrigerator period't, let alone a cold cut refrigerator. Im going to stop coming here due to their unsanitary practice of handling and storing cold cuts. Definitely filing a complaint with the health dept for that. read more

I ordered one of their hot specialty sandwiches, the "Chicken Supreme" . They do have a vast selection. The sandwich consisted of a breaded chicken cutlet with swiss cheese, lettuce, tomato, Russian dressing on a roll. It was bland and the deli guy did not toast the roll ( I know, I should have asked). Not toasting the roll turns the sandwich into a soggy mess once it is wrapped in aluminum foil and deli paper. Also, I saw flies flying around the deli counter. The check out clerk seemed totally disinterested. Bring your own bag. The only good thing was the price of the sandwich: $7.00. Filling, but basically tasteless. I paid $12 for a glorified ham sandwich. I ordered their Cuban sandwich which clearly says on the menu "Roast pork, ham, melted swiss, pickles, mayonnaise." I also paid to add avocado. This sandwich was freezing cold and there was no roast pork in sight. Just ham, 4 layers of pickles, a tiny sliver of avocado, all drowned in mayonnaise. Blahhhhh! I ordered from Pruzzos Supermarket for the first time through UberEats tonight and disclaimer it does not have "supermarket in its name on UberEats.
