Emiliano's Market offers a variety of Italian foods and goods from Italy. You can dine in, order to go, or enjoy outdoor seating when the weather is warm. Prices are on the higher side. During my visits, the staff interaction has been limited, which makes the experience feel more transactional than personal.

Just an update...they now have delicious homemade gelato in many flavors! In addition to their delicious pastas, sandwiches and other Italian specialties, they have the best gelato. So yum!

Absolutely love this gem in the neighborhood. First of all everyone who works there is so friendly. And secondly, the food is delicious. It serves as a market but also has tables where you can get some food and drinks, including outdoor tables in the warm weather. I first came here in the summer for some sandwiches. I was excited for more. Now, I ended up trying their dinner menu and was quite impressed. I got some sparkling wine and beer to try but also indulged in their egg pasta. My friend enjoyed her panini as well. I look forward to returning here.

Came in for lunch to-go! Such a hidden gem in Riverdale. Loved the vibe and how friendly everyone was. Lots of imported Italian goods as well as a huge list of sandwiches and hot meals. I opted not to sit down and eat at the market today but it seems like the perfect spot for a casual date or family lunch. I got the Francamente panini and it was huge for $14. I also got two small canolli (lemon and pistachio). Super sweet but yummy! Loved the lemon flavor. Will definitely be back. Didn't take a picture of the sandwich because I inhaled it. Please don't judge me.

Good little Italian market in Riverdale. They sell a ton of Italian goods like pasta, cheese, olive oil, sweets, etc. I ordered the Rocco panini on ciabatta bread and it was really, really good. Also tried the lemon and pistachio cannolis, delish! They have a few tables inside for eating, as well as outdoors.

On the surface, it looks like a nice place. The menu of sandwiches seemed a bit steep in price. I decided a create my own with chicken cutlet, lettuce tomato and balsamic. Got the sandwich, and the chicken was ultra thin. I like crispy, but the chicken was so thin could barely even taste it. Mostly just tasted the breading. It definitely wasn't freshly made. Could taste the prosciutto and it was alright. I know the picture looks like 2 slices of chicken, and it is, but one is just a small piece of the chicken on the other half of the sandwich. Two very thin chicken cutlets. One per side of sandwich. I don't expect many pieces, but at least thicker. My friend got a mushroom rice ball and it was obvious that it was frozen, barely any rice and two thin slices of mushroom inside and noticeably microwaved. It was basically hollow. The rice and mushroom didn't fill the entire center like it should. It cost $6. Someone hyped this place up to me, and can't say it lived up to it. All I got was this sandwich and it cost $15.79 with tax.

Plenty of Italian imported goods on sale at this deli/cafe/sandwich shop/pasta restaurant. We went during Halloween week and the place was beautifully decorated. We got the Emiliano and Rosa sandwiches. They weren't cheap, but the ingredients were legit and the panini were solid.

There's no doubt about it, Emiliano's is outstanding! I moved out of NYC to realize how much I've missed coming here. The Sandwiches.... Over the top delicious from the first to last bite. The array of authentic Italian products to the most of amazing pastries to can sink your teeth into. The staff is super friendly and genuine. Not to be missed!

Incredible latte and dreamy pastry. It's cold right next to the register. This place is an Italian wonderland.

Italian wonderland. Incredible coffee and dreamy pastries. Especially the one in the photo. Perfect croissants too. I've had their scrumptious pastas and devine Italian sandwiches. This is the place to pick up anything Italian and delicious and the owners are incredibly welcoming. You won't forget your visit here.

Came here for a quick bite. The panini is the number one item ordered. However, they do offer a selection of pastas and hot food see menu below. The prices for the paninis are a bit pricey but the panini I ordered had a good amount of meats and reasonably sized. You can definitely shared with someone if you're not that hungry. The panini I ordered was very fresh and tasted yummy. The place has indoor and outdoor seating. I love that they sell a variety' of Italian groceries. I even saw wine and beer. They were out of cibatta bread so I got the rosemary instead. The pastries were yummy as well great place to stop by and get your meats , cheese's or even cofeee. Love to see this restaurant in North riverdale. The place is clean and the staff is friendly

So many pastries so many sweets. Something for everybody. All so delicate and fresh.

Emiliano & Franca have been our neighbors in this North Riverdale enclave for years. And as their story tells, they always wanted to put together their own "Piazza". Piazza is an Italian name for a public square where people can hang out. And Emiliano's Market is becoming that quite rapidly. I wish they had even more space to spread their warmth around the neighborhood. I love to travel around the city to find fresh Italian ingredients to make food at home, and that would take me typically to the Bronx's little Italy, and some other particular favorite haunts around the city. But now I don't have to go anywhere. I just walk down the street and I have everything I need from prepared food to food I can make myself. I think the most important thing about this market is that as a former shop owner myself I know the reason people keep coming back is because of how you treat them. And Emiliano & Franca just make you feel so at ease, so welcome, so appreciated, that you will keep returning. It's the relationship that you make with shop owners that makes you a loyal customer, in addition to their wonderful collection of food and goods. This place has it all. If you want to feel like you have your own little Italian Piazza to hang out at, come visit. This place is precious and we're not letting it ever leave North Riverdale.

The Mediterranean salad had no tomatoes or cucumbers which is pretty standard in a Mediterranean salad. No bread came on the side. Typical Italian restaurants will always provide a bread on the side. My husband arrived at 7:04 PM. The food was not ready. He was repeatedly told vague timelines ("a little while," then 7:15 PM), none of which were accurate. The manager disappeared into the kitchen, leaving him waiting with no updates. By 7:48 PM, after over 40 minutes, he left without the food. During that wait, other customers were seated, served, finished their meals, paid, and left -- all while two simple sandwiches could not be produced. I spoke directly with the manager twice. Instead of taking responsibility, he argued about the pickup time, minimized the delay, and only offered excuses and after-the-fact store credit. No proactive communication. No apology. No basic follow-through. Delays happen. This level of disorganization and lack of accountability is unacceptable. Order takeout elsewhere if you value your time.

I also took home a side order of escarole, sauteed in olive oil and garlic, and grated Parmesan on the side. The Chicken Scarpariello ($37 w/option ) is great and quite filling. The Chicken is coming from the thighs as best I can determine and is chopped up with a few bones that can be handled with a knife and fork. I would definitely order this always on the bone for flavor. You have the boneless option, but go with the bone. The cherry hot peppers add a definitive kick, above Fra Diavolo level, but nothing anyone cannot handle. The sausage was overcooked, but the potatoes were spot on. The red sauce, ziti and Parmesan calmed the moderate heat down if anyone is concerned. The escarole was a good accompaniment, but the spice level overwhelmed the wine with this dish. By the way, I can now confirm this $48 Montepulciano is of the Sangiovese varietal from Montepulciano D.O.C. The Chicken Scarpariello with the added option is also a more fulfilling meal than the Veal Martini and I can understand why it is a leading dish on the menu at Enzo's. I find it to be equally good too, so no downgrade in the rating. It highlights the consistency of the dishes served by the kitchen with steady chefs over the years. Marcello, my server, told no lies. The Double Cut Pork Chop ($33) was a bit more satisfying and delicious. It's thick, about two inches or more thick. They trimmed most of the fat, but left enough for added flavor. Notice the darkened color of the fat trim that has been seared and caramelized. Yum! The thick chop is cooked all the way through, but it's not tough or challenging to cut. It's still juicy and somewhat tender inside, with the added juice and flavor of the sauce. Over the escarole and pasta with garlic and dusted with Parmesan for that pop, your palate is in for a most satisfying experience. The Double Cut Pork Chop is one of those dishes that will keep people coming to Enzo's. It also paired better with the wine, given the heat from the hot cherry peppers was less pronounced and not overwhelming for the relatively low tannin and low acidity wine. I have had Sangiovese that drink a lot bigger and don't even mention the Brunellos. Enzo's of Williamsbridge is not overcharging in my opinion. They could have increased prices more on account of inflation, but they have not. Their loyal patrons would balk of they did. The dishes on the menu generally range from the high twenties to high thirties for generous servings. Wines by the bottle are reasonably priced and I can see why one would take your family here or take someone on a date here with the quality and value proposition served up consistently since 1998. Enzo's is a go to restaurant for many loyal patrons. I would and will return easily and can give Enzo's high marks. Just seat me inside the main dining room next time please. 4.0 very solid and consistent stars!
