Blahhhhh! I ordered from Pruzzos Supermarket for the first time through UberEats tonight and disclaimer it does not have "supermarket in its name on UberEats. I always swipe past it but said "hey let's give it a try, try something new! EWW; why the hell did I do that for. I ordered two 6piece wings, one buffalo and the other garlic Parmesan . When I received my order I was ecstatic , cuddled up in front of my tv with Netflix, salivating at the aroma of the spices. I picked up the first drumstick and could tell by how soft the skin was something was off. I bit into it and it was soggy. I tried to fish through both flavors to find fully cooked ones and I thought, "no I can not take a chance and get salmonela fucking with this shit". The chicken tasted like they went to the frozen food section grabbed these wings from like a TV dinner (not being fully thawed out) and instead of cooking them in the oven they microwaved them. But I thought they were "fresh". #FalseAdvertisement! A waste of money! Trust me when I say save your coins, save your health and swipe right on past this place. You'll thank me later. Yankee Sandwich is the best! Have ordered it on multiple occasions. I have also ordered chicken Caesar salad which is sooo good and the chicken is always flavorful and juicy. They also place my dressing on the side when I request it. Pruzzo's is in one word YUMMY! In this nieghborhood where every thing is closed by 10pm, Pruzzo's is opend 24/7. Their sandwiches are the best I've had in a long time. Always stuffed to the max and always on fresh yummy breads. It helps that it's also like a mini mart and allows you to pick up the staples at not ridiculous prices anytime. I've never actually stepped into Pruzzo's, but we've bought subs from here plenty of times! While all of my experiences haven't been great, none of them have been horrible, which I consider a plus. Their subs are freaking great and are inexpensive considering their size. I always share a sub with someone else, because a whole one is just too much for me to have alone! I usually order it with grilled chicken, banana peppers, lettuce, bacon, avocado, provolone cheese, and a little bit of honey mustard, and I stay full for hours. It comes out to less than $10, and it's definitely worth it. Sometimes the subs are built better than others but that's my only complaint. They always taste great, sometimes they're just a little messier to eat. Definitely a great place to get a quick lunch or dinner! read more

I was visiting for the weekend and had breakfast there twice. First, I had sausage, egg, and cheese on a seeded roll. I was allowed to choose a bread from the bin and hand it to the man, who then made my sandwich. And it took a couple of minutes to make; these were not microwaved eggs, folks. Great stuff. I went with egg whites, bacon, and cheese on a roll the second time and it was awesome as well. With a Tropicana OJ and a large bottle of water, I paid around 8 bucks both times. Excellent value. I have been coming here for so many years. If I go early or at night they clean all the time, which is a great thing. They keep this place clean and beautiful. The past couple of years they have been remodeling the place. Pruzzos added a salad bar, hot/cold food buffet, meat section, and they made a ramp for extra aisle. The deli section is open anytime of day. You can get any type of sandwich you want, make your own or what's on the specialty list. For the salad bar, you can get as much topping as you want, but you need to pay. Your choices are from meats to vegetables. The buffet is a mix of hot and cold items. They give you containers to do yourself. They also have a coffee area. So you can get a fresh cup to start your day or to finish. When you walk in the have fruits and vegetables. I never had a problem with the food, always has taste. Once in a blue moon they might add or miss hear an item you want in a sandwich, but that's very very rare. I have been a vegetarian for a while now. I always watch where I go when picking for food. But they keep the machines clean and if you tell them, they won't mix and touch any meat item. read more

Great staff, always open and the sandwiches are great (breakfast or any time). They now have a buffet bar but I'll pass on it. I'm not a fan of eating buffet food in an uncontrolled environment. Some people are nasty and like to touch food with their hands. During super storm Sandy, this place was a life saver for the neighborhood. There were only a few places with electricity and none of the 4 local supermarkets had lights. Luckily Pruzzo's did and their prices remained unchanged. I visit Pruzzo's at least 4-5 times a week and have done so for years. The sandwiches are well stuffed and are reasonably priced. The salads and hot foods are excellent. There is a great variety of soda and beer. The staff are very friendly and courteous. The shelves are stacked with a variety of household food and dairy needs. The only downside is that the store can get quite cramped since the aisles and cash register area are very narrow. Also, as an lover of ice cream, the selection is pretty bad even though it takes up the left, rear freezer area. In closing, since I don't need to buy in bulk, I'd rather go to Pruzzo's for my day to day needs than making a trip to tthe nearby supermarket. read more

One of , if not the best deli's i'v been to. Talk about bang for your buck, the sandwiches are fulled loaded with whatever cold cut , chicken cutlet ,eggplant ,etc you want. When you get a 3 or 6 foot hero, they bread is the root of the sandwich, don't get me wrong, their selection of cold cuts is above average.
