I contacted this business and after discussing rates scheduled a time for him to pick up my laptop. He was very communicative,letting me know when he would arrive. After getting to my house and looking at my computer he realized he could not guarantee my results due to the type of computer I had. He offered some options but gave the honest recommendation that I save my money and take my computer to a full service shop that could better address my issue. He also gave me a solution to continue to use my daughter's chromebook that would save me money from fixing or replacing. He didn't charge for coming to my house. I would highly recommend Sam for computer repairs. I read great reviews of his business on my Nextdoor App and decided to take our laptop to him that needed the screen replaced. He was extremely honest, the cost was lower than others I had contacted and was very efficient. He kept the laptop for a couple of hours to remove the screen to verify the part number on the screen. He texted the order receipt to verify the cost of the replacement screen. I picked up the laptop and returned a few days later and he replaced the screen. Talked to several companies about getting my 2011 MacBook Pro looked at. The partition in the hard drive had failed and I lost all my data. The computer was not starting and was in a perpetual loop of shutting itself down and attempting to restart. I wasn't too concerned about the data as I had a back up but just wanted to see if the computer could be saved as I use it to run AutoCAD. Sam contacted me and let me know pricing and what he could do and I decided to go with him. He was beyond gracious in letting me know what he could and could not do for my computer and what could and could not be done when I came to my lost data. I really hadn't asked him to find the data but he let me know anyways what the situation was.
