My wife the Bang Mi pork sandwich and i had the Pho. Both were amazing, and we are Pho snobs. Get this... Lunch was so great that we came back later that night after our conference and ordered the noodle & rice dish with pork, a dozen garlic wings, spring rolls and Tahi tea for the two of us. Finally got to try out this spot that opened in March 2020. Staff was super friendly and informative of their menu items. Constant flow of locals coming in through lunch and everyone had great things to say about the food and workers that keep bringing them back. Now onto the food, my cousin got the chicken bahn mi, I ordered the steak pho, and he got boba as well that I didn't get to try but he chugged down. All the food was super fresh and delicious. The Vietnamese ladies cooking in the kitchen were the ones who brought out the pho and were very proud to serve their beautiful dishes. The broth was light and had perfectly balanced flavors that worked well with the fresh, thin, rice noodles and lean steak slices. Cilantro and onion are in the soup when first served but on the side they give you a great heaping of bean sprouts and other herbs. I got the regular but it was so good next time I'll get the large. We ordered the grilled pork noodles, grilled pork rice, grilled pork sandwich and grilled pork bao. I know it sounds very pork focused but everyone in our group loved the food. The cafe sua da iced coffee was delicious too. We're visiting from Little Saigon in SoCal and this food was just as good as the best available back home. I just happened to picked this place because our original choice had too long of a wait. We ordered the Bo Luc Lac, Wonton soup, Deluxe bahn mi, gyoza dumplings, fresh shrimp rolls, Sunset Drink and received a free Thai Tea with Yelp check-in. The food was delicious. The guy that served both as cashier and server was quick. My kids loved their bahn mi but was a bit small for the price. My Bo Luc Lac was flavorful and satisfied my hunger. We ordered pork spring roll, shrimp summer roll, a regular combo pho, shrimp pho, and a rice with steak and egg. We got used to Chicago portions for the main dish, so comparing both this place is smaller, I mean it's probably the portion size for 1 . My daughter and I were craving a Bahn Mi sandwich, and remembered seeing P's VietMi cafe when we had visited KPoppin USA. We looked up the menu on Yelp and saw their Bahn mi sandwich reviews. We live in Windermere and I really didn't feel like driving out it the rain, so we were happy to see that we could order through UBER eats! We ordered the chicken Bahn Mi, fresh shrimp spring rolls, and Iced Thai Tea. OMG, it was so delicious!! Everything was well packed too. The sandwich is very good sized. Yum! What a great find! When you check in with Yelp, you get a free thai ice tea which was delicious! High expectations for Asian food, especially coming from the Bay Area, but P's grilled pork was delicious! I asked what their specialty was and they recommended the grilled pork. It definitely didn't disappoint. It was flavorful and soft and not dried out like most other places. The bahn mi was also on point. The owners are really friendly and down to earth. Holy crap, lemme tell you why you cannot skip this place. So I'm in Orlando on a work trip, stuck in a hotel, and I was craving some non-American/not-touristy food (you know what I mean). Coming from the San Francisco/Bay Area, I'm a pretty big food snob when it comes to variety and quality of food. I didn't expect much in Orlando, but P's VietMi Cafe blew me away. I ordered via Uber Eats the Vermicelli Noodle Bowl (Bún Thịt Nướng) and the flavors totally delivered. The BBQ pork was marinated, seasoned, and cooked perfectly. The pickled veggies were on point and the noodles were done al dente. Mix it all together, and you've got a phenomenal dish. Home Run! This place was highly recommended so we went, ate, and enjoyed a scrumptious hot pork ban mi sandwich combo. Spring roll was hot, crisp and delicious. The French fries came with a spicy sauce that made them melt in your mouth and the sandwich was amazing. Extra Pickled vegetables were offered and enjoyed with the sandwich and the fries. OUTDOOR SEATING! Hey, these guys opened at the beginning of COVID, they're awesome restaurateurs, and continue to endure! Food is spot on, order to go or better yet, go there and eat! Sometimes the spring roll peanut sauce is super thick, other times it's just right. Sometimes the Banh Mi is broken and everything is falling out, sometimes it's nicely put together. Sometimes the rice is too wet... other times it's not. You get the point!! I think the food varies depending on the chef. We stopped by P's VietMi Cafe by mistake which ended up being a blessing. Everyone is very friendly and attentive to begin with. Not familiar with the menu, they explained very well and helped us choose the right meals, which were the pork rice plate, the zesty orange plate, the salt and pepper shrimp, stir-fry noodles and also the VietMi-rito, which is a massive deep fried spring roll burrito. It was to die for! We ordered to-go meals and the portions were extremely generous. So much so that we irdered lunch and we have enough left over for dinner. The grilled pork Vietnamese sandwich is the best I've ever tasted anywhere including Southern California, the Mecca of Vietnamese food. Food The food was quite average. The shrimp pho was quite substandard, lacking some of the essential flavors to make it tasty (I already put the black sauce and lemon in the broth). The noodles for this dish were not that great either since the texture felt off. The dish was, overall, quite a bad experience. However, the drinks were quite good, but (maybe my personal preference) the summer sunset was a bit too sour. Another customer also complained that the dish they had was too salty. Service I can't say much about the service because there was not much to see (for me, at least). We ordered and that was basically the last conversation we had. They served food and that was basically the whole experience I had with them. It was quite disappointing in reality (contrary to the 4.8 rating right now). Ambiance The drawings on the wall looked friendly and cute, and the decorations were quite complimentary as well. I'd rate this a 4. Maybe if the other portions of this experience were great as this, the rating would be a 5. TLDR Some of the food were quite bad. Service was average; they were mostly in the kitchen area. The Lo Mein is average. The meat inside of the gyoza isn't minced well together and the seasoning is subpar. From what I'm told, the gyoza is not handmade, so it's more of a reason not to get it. I love a good Vietnamese bahn mi. There is something about the combination of flavors and textures that always draws me to it when I want something quick that hits all the senses. In between errands we spotted P's VietMi Cafe and decided to put it to the taste test. My husband and I shared the pork bahn mi and really enjoyed it. The bread was crispy on the outside and light and airy on the inside. The pork was juicy, saucy, sweet, and tangy. Sandwich was topped with the usual suspects: marinated carrots and daikon, jalapeño slices, and cilantro. It smelled incredible and the taste was fresh and bright. The restaurant labels itself as asian fusion and the menu does fit the bill. I am kind of bummed we skipped the Vietnamese iced coffee and crispy cinnamon churros with hazelnut spread.
