Went to Psychic Eye on a Sunday after lunch at Taj Palace. My friend went to the book section where she found the perfect one. I browsed and found a birthday gift for my close friend who's originally from Dublin. Living in the desert one can always use a lightweight cotton bed cover in Irish design. I also bought a vivid Coke bottle green fluorite point for myself and one for the friend with me. My favorite purchase was my beautifully colorful paper hanging butterflies. Gosh I LOVE psychic eye!! I still order so much online but nothing and I mean absolutely nothing beat their cool crystals, tarot cards, books, candles, incense, funny stuff, you literally name it and they have it!! The prices from these things can rings under a dollar to a thousand bucks it's just all how you shop and what you're looking for. I personally LOVE getting my funny kitty calendars here and do it every year. The employees are beyond helpful and EXTREMELY knowledgeable in crystals herbs just about everything I love that so much, they really go out of your way to help!! I love talking with them about certain things and really picking their brain they are so full of wisdom! My experience with the "psychic" at this location was extremely disappointing. While I had a pleasant conversation with her, there was absolutely nothing "psychic" about it. I asked questions, she responded with platitudes. No insight whatsoever. While the store is nice and staff were friendly. I think the business has some responsibility to hire people who actually do psychic readings, not just engage in friendly "elevator" conversation. My reading was a waste of money and I felt duped for paying for it. Beware. If you want a psychic reading, get a recommendation. Don't trust a business like this. I've seen Zarin a few times since 2022 and I swear by him. He is so kind and funny but most importantly I trust his word. He has helped me find resolutions in serious situations that I was unaware of and gives great insight in general. I think everything he has foreseen has come into fruition aside from one thing, which I think is still in the works. My most recent reading has left me with so much peace for a situation that I felt uneasy and unsure about, and he has helped me to feel a sense of optimism again! Lauren was not empathetic and she was judgmental towards my situation. I felt so uncomfortable speaking with her throughout the session. They have oils, incense, dreamcatchers, wind chimes, books, decor, instruments, crystals, etc. the staff here is very helpful and take the time to listen to your situation and give good recommendations of any healing items you may need. This place doesn't pay money that's owed to their employees, nor do they let their employee's Service Dog come with them, and sit with them, management also tells all employee's business to other employees, and don't ever get sick, or have a death in the family, because you'll get fired if you have to take time off. Management will believe any rumor about you, instead of asking you, will be condescending to you, and will flat out be rude and yell at you. They also charge way to much for stuff that you can find cheaper on Amazon and Etsy, and their selection of stuff is pitiful, they almost don't have a selection. Will I recommend this store? This was my first visit to this location and it's really well stocked and has a great energy. The cashier was nice and helpful and she guided me to the Mala Beads which were in a display and even asked if I wanted the ones I chose to be sprayed with sage (I did) before boxing them up. She only pulled one spread did not hear her pull any additional cards for clarifiers instead rationalized they answers she gave for my questions. When I mentioned the POI was coming across as verbally abusive her response was "that's not that bad, I've seen / heard worse." Thank you for showing me your not someone I'd like to read with again. I was a little nervous, even a little skeptical, as I sat for a 15-minute tarot reading with Corinne. However, her very friendly demeanor quickly put me at ease, and she let me know it was perfectly okay to be skeptical and keep an open mind. She had me "knock" on the cards (to put my energy into them?) and then just started addressing my career question without even using any kind of "spread," which surprised me! She did it in an open-ended way, which matched my open-ended (not "Yes" or "No") kind of question, which I had read online was the most useful kind to ask. Her insights seemed very genuine, and she definitely seemed interested and invested in giving me good advice. I liked her a lot and appreciated the way she approached everything. It was only $10 more for another 15 minutes (the first being just $20 in the first place, so $1.50 per minute compared to something like $5.00 per minute for no-quality-control phone psychics), so I went ahead and did 15 more minutes since she had time. She just had a little more to say on that question, so I asked a "secret" question for a one-card reading for something personal, and it answered it well! Then she just let me ask some stuff about being a tarot reader and psychic in general, which was really nice of her. Corinne is truly friendly and supportive of her clients, and the shop has VERYYYY cool stuff that seems reasonably priced if you're looking for some kitschy stuff. I've been shopping there for about four years, and every time I leave I'm left unsatisfied with the lack of inventory on incense, crystals, and price. Very overpriced. I recently bought cone incense that two out of ten actually burned without being just plain pieces of coal. I very rarely find what I'm looking for and just... always leave feeling unsatisfied. We found it easily, and went inside. Daughter wanted to get some crystals, and she bought polished tourmaline for protection. Here's how they describe it: Highly protective, absorbs negativity. Love, friendship, peace, courage & astral projection. She got 2 clear crystals because they were pretty, and an orange carnelians for "protection, patience, peace, eloquence, healing, courage. Counteracts doubt & negative thoughts. Protects from ill wishers & drives away evil." The girl behind the counter asked if we wanted them saged, and we said yes. She had a little aerosol can of sage spray and gave them a squirt. Then she put them in a clear baggie. It cost around $6; the tourmaline was $3 and the other stones were $1 each.
