JACKPOT!!!!! I continued my diggin in the crates adventure in the fabulous city of Las Vegas. I figured that I might not have had much time to go diggin, so I went the first day. I pulled up to the shop and saw two tables of albums, so I went looking through them. I started finding ones that I would consider purchasing if they were reasonably priced. Others I placed where I could find them if I really wanted them. I spent about an hour looking through those. The manager was walking a customer out and said "These records are free! Both tables." WHAT?!? So I found the records that I had set aside and threw them in the car. It was a good 20 records! Then I went inside. Found the Saturday Night Fever record I was looking for, a couple of EWFs and an inexpensive Masters of the Universe record. I went over budget by a couple of dollars, but that's ok. I made some good finds! I'll be back! read more

Tucked away in a strip mall on Sunset just across from the airport sits this little gem of a record store. It is not visible from the street so map it before you arrive. Daily side walk sales for liquidation of those in demand country and western, classical and Christmas albums. I was greeted by a very friendly store owner with a coke and smile. I was quite surprised by this gesture from this little strip mall store. Well organized collection with most items wrapped in plastic sleeves to protect them. Prices are definitely retail but you may have room to negotiate. I didn't try to Dicker on this visit because after an hour of crate digging I found something I didn't expect to and was willing to pay for it. Overall good visit. I would recommend checking this store and explore. The one thing I would consider providing is a listening station with a good quality turntable, needle and headphones. read more

I am such an old head when it comes to music, and I love buying albums, and I found so much joy in this little but classic shop! With albums as low as $2 and classics abound, you can go wrong! Aretha Franklin, The Who, The Beatles, and Duke Ellington all in one place! my heart truly skipped a beat! I was even looking for some old Etta James, and while he didn't have any readily available, this man knew exactly which records I was talking about. Talk about a man who knows his music. He even carries new music as well. He has tapes and cds and such a collection that will draw you in and make you a return customer for sure! Support this small shop, and you won't go wrong! Absolutely in vinyl heaven. Abundant selection and reasonable price. Lots of rare ones. 14 vinyls and 1 CD for under $70 not bad at all. The conditions are perfect some in plastic and intact. The guy in the front which I assume is the owner was wonderful, nice and kind. So many good finds. Btw Fleetwood Mac Rumours album that I keep finding for more than $50 anywhere else. It was only $19 and in perfect condition here. We will definitely come back. Please support this place. It's one of those places that needs support a rarity in the neighborhood. P.S to the person who rated this place 1 star and mentioned no top records. I disagree. 10 out of the 14 vinyls that I purchased was rare. read more

Took a chance and diverted from my normal record spot. This is smaller location which actually made it much easier to find some classics. They were organized by genre and artist ( I'm sure that took FOREVER). Scanning is always fun, but the organization of this store actually helped me narrow down some gems. Their soundtrack section was about 6 or 7 crates deep. I actually found the soundtrack to the WIZ and CHARLIE BROWN. Those made the trip worth it alone. I set a limit in my head of how much I wanted to spend and I walked away with 5 records UNDER my budget. They have some classic cassette tapes as well if that's your thing. They also have a tone of old school posters. If you're hosting a throwback party I would recommend stopping by here and spending a few bucks. The location is close to the airport in a small shopping center with plenty of parking. Before you head out, back to wherever you're from stop by Vegas Vinyl and scan the crates... well worth the time. read more

I have a vintage Vegas tribute room in my house. The sound coming from the records of Sinatra and Sammy David Jr. is such a cool vibe. Highly recommend ditching the Alexa and purchasing a record player and some vintage records. Such a better overall listening experience. This shop has hundreds of records for all music tastes...I even found some Christmas albums for my 5 and 8 year old. The record player I found has bluetooth so they can connect the player to their hoover boards and jam to vintage records as they hoover around the house. The perfect mashup of old and new. Wow! They have a lot of records. Open during the holidays and so very helpful. I step into the shop and boom. Vinyl galore. David is very helpful and his willingness to please is welcomed. A lot of places "big box" do not have the care or any type of customer service. You walk in and the storage and owners show they care. They know your name and listen. I asked for an item. Looked around the store and it appears they have a little bit of all genres. Hidden gem on sunset. I wanted to get my mom a hard to find vinyl for mother's day and didn't want to wait for it to be shipped from an online source such as ebay. So hopped on yelp to see if there were any close by record shops. Found this one on a whim and boy oh boy what a nice surprise. The shop is on the small size but still great. The owner is a very nice fella who is really helpful and provides great customer service was even asked if I would like a soda or water while i browsed around. This place also sells CD's as well as vinyls. They also have promo days such as .25cent vinyl day as well as some crates outside with a mix of FREE vinyls which was pretty cool. All in all it's a great little shop with a really nice owner , stop on by and grab some new tunes. read more

We came out with so many goodies from Fleetwood Mac Tango in the night & Penguin, 2 Simon & Garfunkel, Willie Nelson Pretty paper, Johnnie Cash Christmas, Hall & Oates and a really interesting find from the 70's, Music for your plants!!
